Very much appreciated...this chopper looks ideal.
@@BrianPhillipsRC , it certainly is a neat little machine! It showed up last week and I finally got a chance to ring it out a bit. If you never flown drones or helicopters (like me), this is not as straightforward as everyone makes it out to be. I definitely recommend spending a little time on a sim like RealFlight before attempting to fly this. It was also way out of trim out of the box so that took a little a time as well. Now that I've got it more or less figured out, it's terrific!!!
Brian, my E130 came in today (10/05/21) I did what it took to get it in the air. trimming it was simple, I thought!! I could get it to set still in the air, but when moved one of the sticks it would start drifting, and I would redo the trim I believe the transmitter, and the receiver need a little work that I can not do. Yes I'm still watching your youtube over and over. Good work.
Congrats Bill! This plane is super fun, and agreed...they could use a bit of work. I've always struggled with "Trim Flights" on helis...I guess us fixed wing pilots are spoiled with LIVE trimming??? ;)

Hey Brian - can’t believe I missed great this video! 🌈 In case you (or your viewers) haven’t worked out manual takeoff yet, it’s simple! ✅ As soon as you’re ready to go, dismiss the one touch. Instead, pull both sticks down and out. This just gets the blades idling, THEN go ahead with your throttle stick manually 👍🏻🚁🤩
the reason this guy can get like 3X the flight time of a collective pitch of the same size that uses a similarly powered motor and similar battery size is because the fixed pitch blades are actually much more efficient at creating enough lift to get the helicopter off the ground than the symmetrical rotor design used on collective pitch helicopters.
I have the E160 and the e130 The batteries are the same different connectors I put XT 30 connector on my 130 so I can share the batteries between my 160 and 130 I got rid of the JST connector on the 130. I also have two e129 and e180 and the fw450 gps helicopters
Hello Friend! I have an E130 and I didn't like the throttle stick stuck in the middle. Does it open the control to deactivate the spring and use it in the 0 to 100% pattern instead of being fixed at 50%
Nope, not that I know of. It's a "toy grade" heli....which is not gonna be for the average heli pilot...as I think it'll annoy them. As for the "Rest of us" it's really easy to fly, and a fun heli, but not hobby grade ;)
Hi Brian, May I ask if you have ever let the E130 helicopter fly for a full hour? I mean excluding the time just needed to change the battery to another fresh one? I bought the same one and by doing that I burned 4 tail motors! Seems motors aren't too much good for "stressing" use... Thank you beforehand for answer.
Thank you for the explanation of the remote control! I have one of these on the way and your demo has really made me feel a lot better about setting it up since the manual doesn’t look great. One thing about hover mode..... The joystick centres itself, so if you raise the heli up 8nto the sky and let go of the joystick, (so it centres itself) does the heli just stay up there? I can see myself learning bad habits on this one and crashing my other helis!!
You have it right. It's like this...stick goes up to tell it to ASCEND. If the stick does down, it tells the heli to DESCEND...but if you let go...it'll hold altitude.
Thanks Brian. That’s what I suspected! Just wondering how my daughter might go from that to the Honeybee where the stick needs to be held. Maybe I’ll just get her flying the Honeybee and she’ll have to get over her fear of its size. I can’t afford to let her use a 6 channel....
Brian Great review!! I've pretty much settled on the E130, however I'm concerned about several reviews where there is a large amount of tail drop at higher speeds...Have you experienced any such behavior ? I did not notice any such action in yours. The negative issues seem to be more prevalent in older reviews, Yours being more recent, may be a indication of a factory firmware adjustment?? I welcome any light you can shed on this matter. Keep the reviews coming Best Wishes Tony
With a flight controller controlled plane or heli, there's not a lot you can do to cause or prevent this. I'd just pick any heli that looks like it'll be a good fit for your skills, and go for it. They all have drawbacks, but some are just almost flawless...but the more they get into that arena, the more they get crazy expensive!
Hi Brian I love the fact that your happy to review RC from banggood. Some GREAT products as long as like you.People are happy with not quite perfect manuals ect. But GREAT VALUE. Oh and not forgetting a bit of a wait for delivery. GREAT VALUE wins me over lol. THANKYOU SIR
Well said! Banggood is not perfect, nor is any other online experience...some are much better, but as we've all heard, "You get what you pay for". The stuff from my Banggood reviews is fun, and usually pretty cheap, or at least relatively cheap...but you gotta put up with some irritation to get the most out of these toys ;)
They are so much cheaper than the ones I have sitting in the garage taking up space ;) Hundreds of them... I bought them over time...not all at once, keep in mind.
I don't say what's BEST. It's always changing. This (E130) is definitely NOT the best, but it's fun. The E120 is cool, and I like it, but it's a toy grade heli too. The E200 is pretty good in the Eachine lineup, and probably my favorite small heli right now.
Hey Brian. I think most RC stuffs are from China, including Horizon Hobby. HH probably have a good translater. Where do you place the battery on this heli to balance the CG? Thanks
It really only fits in one place ;) All this gear definitely comes from China. Horizon Hobby makes a good manual, because they have state side engineering and good translators ;)
They are both indoor helis. If you have a verry big house go 130, if not go for the 129 its more practical. I wish i know the flight time for the smaller 129.
Hello Brian, maybe you can help me, It happens that when I'm flying after 5 minutes of flight the helicopter stops working and falls like a stone, it is as if the battery ran out or it disconnected from the control but neither of these two things happens, because I fly 2 or 3 meters away and the battery indicates 80% left. It happens to me every time I fly do you know how can I solve it. The only thing I've noticed is the engine gets quite hot
This is pretty much normal, except for the flight times. I thought we were getting a BIT longer, but if they say "80%" I'd suspect the battery checker...
@@BrianPhillipsRC thanks for your answer Brian, the battery checker is ok, I bought the kit with the 4 batteries and as I said before it’s happen with all the batteries it’s a shame, anyway I’ll have to enjoy my 5 minutes of flight time. Thanks again

Hi Brian one quick question if you have time? I bought one from banggood very recently. It is incredibly unstable out of the box and literally not trimable. was yours OK or did you have to spend time on it. looking at the video looks like yours flew out of the box. thanks
I saw the video well. I am curious about the life of the motor. If you use 3 packs of batteries per day, do you know how long the helicopter will last?
I like to fly the little blade Nano S2 in decent wind so it just requires high rates. Try putting that heli on a better transmitter like a futaba or Spektrum.
@@BrianPhillipsRC I believe those models use futaba. I haven’t messed around with futaba since the 1980’s and early 1990’s so not sure what all the standards are called. Hi Brian, Just received my Eachine E 130 but there appears to be only one battery unlike yours which had 4. please warn others as like me they may think that they will get four like your self. Eddie
You can pick how many you want. If they shorted you, hit them up and make them get you the right set. I'm sorry for your trouble. P.S. Sometimes they HIDE them - SERIOUSLY...look inside everywhere!
@@BrianPhillipsRC It would appear that in ENGLAND that we can only buy the one battery version and not the three and four battery version. I did pay for the four battery version but only got the one battery but they took my money for the four battery version and NO return. O yes because I could not master the hand controller though I was in 2 mode but was in 1 mode instead and lost heli over roof tops never to be seen again.
@@BrianPhillipsRC probably underpowered for its size then. I really just try to keep my little blade Nano in a hover in high gusty wind, it’s fun because it’s challenging for such a tiny low weight heli though it does fly forward in the wind so it has some good power the weight ratio.
I got hit by one of the props on one of these heli's in the back...it was not super nice, but didn't even cut the t-shirt ;) If I would have done that with my CPOne from years ago, I would have been in the hospital, or morgue - LOL!!!
Hello Brian and Mrs Megan aka camera crew. Awesome helicopter. Have been thinking about a heli just unsure which to pick up as a first helicopter. Recommendations from you would be appreciated. In my experience, if you fly hobby grade you'll learn to fly quicker, as I believe you won't be reinforcing bad habits. That being said, there's so many choices out there, and I'm not a "heli-expert"...but here's what I PERSONALLY would do, if you want to strike the balance between GOOD and CHEAP (see below *) While not loosing the "hobby-ish" grade for a beginner....but I like the scale ones better. I keep saying I will, but keep NOT doing it....okay, I'll DO it (sometime - LOL).... it's getting kinda crazy around here... planes are sicking out of every place I can cram them. It's awesome ;) My wife LOVES it - LOL!!!!
I ordered this heli from Banggood. On the 3rd flight the controller seems to have gone whacky and autonomously went into a tail spin and climb out. Then went to ground. I restarted everything and captured a video on next flight. It happened again 15 seconds in. I started return process with Banggood and they said their supplier is not responding to them. I presume the supplier is eachine. BG offered me $10 so I could take it for repair. Like anyone repairs receiver boards right? Moral of the story is, eachine does not back their product and neither does Banggood. Best to stick with Amazon or other retailers who back what they sell. Lesson learned.
FYI, there is a new firmware update for your smart chargers. just updated mine a few days ago. new interface is awesome! Time remaining till charge finished, etc... you'll need SPMXCA100 if you don't already have it. Love your vids!
when you do the tutorial can you go little a slower as being an old fart it takes time to sink in but are now thing of buying a Blade 230S. Thanks Eddie B
If you're on a PC, you can actually click the GEAR ICON and slow down the speed. I get that you want it slower, and agree that would be nice, but I have people asking for faster and slower, so we have to try to keep moving, or we get in tons of trouble. Can you try the GEAR thing...might have to click the ellipsis (...) first and then change the playback speed.

Also a good choice, but I don't recommend it as it's a RTF, and I pretty much want a REAL experience with my own radio system (Well, I guess you CAN use a Satellite Serial Rx in that heli too, then fly DSMX)
@@BrianPhillipsRC Thank you very much! I appreciate you taking the time to get back to me with a recommendation. Now I just have to convince my wife that it’s really worth spending the money. 😂
my E130 has burnt out 3 tailmotors 8520 7.4v coreless in what 8weeks GROAN "less than 8 runs of battery, they get super HOT so hot it burns/melts the tail rotor blade and my finger lol, i read other forums and seems to be common on Eachine E130..contacted eachine NO REPLY..i ended up buying the YU XIANG F03 so far so good, does not appear to have same fault, got me wondering what is going on with my E130, too much voltage?..my e129 and k127 going strong and great indoor practice helis for beginners.
Is there any issues after a month
I haven't had any issues, but we don't fly them much, since we have new stuff coming in all the time, to be fair.
It’ll fly nice in a windy day. Set up high rates and you’re good to go.
I did...not quite enough authority to keep up with it :(.....
@@BrianPhillipsRC probably underpowered for its size then. I really just try to keep my little blade Nano in a hover in high gusty wind, it’s fun because it’s challenging for such a tiny low weight heli though it does fly forward in the wind so it has some good power the weight ratio.
DHL certainly had their way with the box in shipping.
Yes but many hands touch these packages before landing on my doorstep. I've always wondered why Banggood doesn't put items inside a shipping box...
24:59 dangerous moment !!!
Don't want to break the bank but want a hobby grade type but would toy grade be better to start? As always well done on review and flight. Thanks for the video keep flying you guys. The notifications issue has went away. Just have get time to watch always busy with something lol. Thanks again

@@BrianPhillipsRC thanks for the advice looks like i got some checking out to do. Im sure that i should be able to find one that is perfect for me. Even if your saying your not an expert your knowledge hasn't lead me in a wrong direction ever. Thanks for your time and knowledge and always well done. And shout out to the camera crew aka Mrs.Megan perfect filming. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏

Excellent! You'll enjoy it!
Nice👍😊

Hey Brian, I have a suggestion. Can you please do a tour of your planes and where/how you store them. Thanks!
I keep saying I will, but keep NOT doing it....okay, I'll DO it (sometime - LOL).... it's getting kinda crazy around here... planes are sicking out of every place I can cram them. It's awesome ;) My wife LOVES it - LOL!!!!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Ha! Good luck with that. Thank you for the awesome videos! Keep up the good luck!
Number #2 Brian
Congrats on #2 - LOL
Hello all, someone has replaced the motherboard of this helicopter? I’m getting crazy for binding it to the original transmitter…
To change the mode 1 or 2 press the mode button 1st then turn on the transmitter... Thats what i know...😅😅😅
Thanks
Thanks Brian. I just order one from banggood
Hope you enjoy it! Very fun, but don't crash into the cat - LOL!
👍👍👍
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Thanks Donald! I'll look into that, and appreciate your feedback!
what's your country name???pls

when you do the tutorial can you go little a slower as being an old fart it takes time to sink in but are now thing of buying a Blade 230S. Thanks Eddie B
If you're on a PC, you can actually click the GEAR ICON and slow down the speed. I get that you want it slower, and agree that would be nice, but I have people asking for faster and slower, so we have to try to keep moving, or we get in tons of trouble.
Can you try the GEAR thing...might have to click the ellipsis (...) first and then change the playback speed.
bryan fillllups here for this old house today were going to open a garbage bag
YES!
dont use the charger it over charges them big time use a proper lipo charger
I suspect they may too ;)
So long, overly expensive Blade 120s you got a much better competitor in the Eachine.
I can't say I disagree...but mostly because I literally can't make the comparison. I had a Blade heli from years ago, and never did learn to fly it ;)
Eachine E130.....JJRC M05......YX F03 all the same
pretty much
Hey I'm #1 Again! LOL
You are ON IT John!!!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Just No Real Life... LOL
This guy talks too much like a spoiled kid in a candy store
Thank you for your constructive criticism. I'll be sure to not talk in the next video???
You do realize this is our review of this product, right?
