- A small sampling of Ginobili's between the legs passing and dribbling over the years. After already doing it twice in this year's playoffs (game 4 of the Spurs vs. Memphis series, and game 1 of the Finals), I decided he needed a tribute to showcase this unique skill he brings to the NBA.

Manu is too underrated, he deserves to be part of the Hall of Fame.
He is. Basketball hall of fame is not only for nba. it's also for FIBA.

If you played soccer you actually get used to timing steps when your opponent keeps the pace. As an argentinian, Manu probably played soccer during at least his childhood. If you see an compilation on soccer nutmegs it will probably have several with people striding or running. But to do it in basketball is a lot harder since the distance is greater and you have to adjust not only timing, but height and the bouncing spot.

This isn't just flashy, it's brilliant. If you discombobulate one defender you compromise the entire defense. That this is in his repertoire, and so few others, especially when it is so effective shows just how extraordinarily difficult this is to master.
Watch the video of The Professor teaching "the teleport" (a version of the this) to James Harden. Harden is an exceptional ball handler so he gets it pretty quickly. But, it's obvious watching it that it will take, even someone who is at the pinnacle of athleticism, a very long time to master it.

All Stars are popularity contest... Manu is way smarter than TP, he's miles ahead TP in playmaking, passing and defending, better in stealing, rebounding, 3PT and FT. Manu in it's prime was just as good in offence. Parker is an amazing scorer with incredible speed, but manu is better overall. Parker won a Final MVP, and Manu was 1 vote short on being one in 2005 - in that same finals TP did not do so good -. Plus he has an Euroleague MVP and was by far the best player in the 2004 olympics - they don't handle individual awards -.
