4- he created new movesets that never existed and he was using these moves in the right way with the right time and not showing off!
5- he went to Napoli and made the club into something from nothingness and got the cup twice!
6- his passing and stamina were on another level and he was the bravest of all time!
7- if only he's on his prime and plays in this modern time with these pitches, shoes and balls, he would shock the world even more! If you say now football has changed and the defensive style has improved, Maradona will create space and pass through every defense like he always did!

If Maradona didn't need a team then why didn't he win more for Argentina? Why did he flop at three Copa America's? Why also did he have to rely on his teammates scoring 3 in the 86 World Cup final? Why after 86 did Maradona not perform close to that level again? He only scored 8 goals for Argentina after 86 until his retirement in 94. Meanwhile, Messi at 34-35 scored 18 just in one year for his country.
Maradona was a phenomenal player, who in terms of ability was right up there with Messi. However, the myths that have been created for him are ridiculous. The fact is he failed many, many times, while his longevity, consistency and ability as a goalscorer were nowhere near the level of Messi.
