BBQ season is here! The Carolina BBQ Original Chicken Sandwich features a lightly breaded chicken fillet topped with a delicious combination of Cheese, Bacon, Hickory Seasoned Potato Sticks, Lettuce, and a Carolina BBQ Sauce, all on a warm, toasted, sesame seed bun.

Chicken sandwich, a gallon of pop with free unlimited refill, fries, curly fries, sundae and they wash your car if you like.
There is plenty of very cheap fast food deals... The difference is; you used to be able tonprder what you want and not think about it; it would be fairly cheap.
Now you have to pay attention and buy the deals and know the menu well; and use the apps. If you dont then you'll be paying sit down restaurant prices.

That description got us moist here uh Just and that fancy diagonal slice upon reveal tickled me fancois too... Looked quite well constructed and hickory sticks for us down under are an interesting addition - didn't appear to be too much of a clean up for ya

Yes! It’s a regional thing. Fast food never gets it right, either.
For reference:
- SOME parts of South Carolina do the mustard style BBQ. It’s very very specific though.
- Some parts of North Carolina do vinegar with red pepper flakes. It’s more of a mop sauce than actual sauce.
- Other parts of the state do more standard “BBQ” to what we know, but it’s generally thinner due to a higher vinegar concentration.
Other spots they can call on for sauce include Memphis, Kansas City, and Georgia - and definitely NOT Texas who pride themselves on nothing more than salt, pepper, and smoke.

You have to take out a mortgage for average garbage. Burger King lost the right to touch chicken decades ago.
With HST the Carolina Chicken Sandwich is 10$ in the Toronto area. Still expensive. I'll go with either Big Mary Monday (4.99 plus HST) or A&W has their Chubby Chicken Burger on sale for (6.59 plus HST). I don't know why anybody pays such high prices for fast food.

That’s not true Carolina style bbq sauce. Carolina bbq sauce is a vinegar base and very rich in flavor. It’s also relatively thin, not like Texas BBQ.

Wtf 12 bucks for any fast food burger is crazy. I remember when you could get a whole meal for like 6 bucks a couple years ago. So how much is the meal, like 16 bucks ? Madness!!!! Before that I’ll struggle with a medium pizza from Little Caesars or Pizza Pizza.

Price is brutal but BK original chicken is one of the only things I can tolerate... We'll NEVER get this here, but I may have to do a Frankenstein experiment and make this on my own...... When I have time. 😫

I've consumed the equivalent of about 2 metric tonnes of their "original" chicken sandwich with extra mayo, not sure if I'll give this bad boy a try though. It seems like all fast food companies just copy eachother, maybe its a game the executives are playing. Glad there were no items from the "crispy onion buying group" on this one lol.
I have nothing against that sandwich, I enjoy it as well, but it's supposed to fill you up for cheap.
@@JFRJesse My theory on why the same types of products appear across the board in fast food is that these companies are part of a "buying group", this is common in business, they do one big purchase of something like crispy onions, Carolina bbq sauce, or maple flavoring etc, and they get the big discount from the same supplier, and possibly do container sharing as well though the shipping port. You will then see it appear in different forms at each fast food chain. Its happened numerous times.
2 things...if i ate that i would definitely be getting a hickory stick vertical and into the roof of my mouth. 2nd they gave you ketchup packs so shouldnt you smash those? lol.

wow i just had this, THEY FORGOT MY BACON. it was pretty shitty anyway the sauce made the patty super soft and mushy and the hickory sticks werent even crunchy they got mushy form the bbq sauce too

That burger is not $12. It is listed as $8.99 at BC Burger King locations. The combo that comes with fries and a drink is priced at $13. In some provinces the burger is listed at $7.99.

This was always the plan, nothing changed. I haven't gained a pound and I still eat only fruits and veggies while I'm at work and clean out that way. I would never go only meat because I feel the benefits of fruit, especially in my digestive system. You underestimate my disipline and ability to stick to a plan.
