@Brandtalones I'd say the UK is mostly metric... but distances are usually measure in miles. Non-road maps usually have kilometer squares printed on them though...
@scuderia2000 Yeah, but I thought that the Empire was pretty much "metricised" by now. Aren't kilometers the dominant means of determining distances in England?
Nice to see some roads I know well, I work on that stretch of the A5, about 2 miles after the end of the video at the garage by the cross roads. When was the video done? because it looks like the very end of V fest, now that would be a good blue light training, but you wont be doing any favours for local police. Nice also to see the trick of hanging back, letting people see you and then progressing, although, with you being a biker Nigel, I'm surprised your still amazed at how blind people are
Does it really matter? Don't understand people's obsessions with the make of a siren. Surely if that's your bag you should know what make it is by its sound. And as you don't, it means it's irrelevant. A siren's a siren. Loud and ultimately very annoying!
I’m confused if they’re training for blue light driving why are they worried about the speed cameras? Can they be issued a ticket? Makes no sense as they’re legally training and you have to go over the speed limit
It's about the paperwork, even if the camera did flash, which i'm pretty sure it didn't, they still can't be prosecuted, even if they were not driving on blues, as it's a Gatso camera which is only approved for rear-facing photography and thus they cannot yet be prosecuted in law. Truvelo cameras can flash either forward facing OR rear facing and is approved for prosecutions in both cases.
@@thefiestaguy8831 Must be a regional thing because I've never had to slow down for a camera on a training run, and could certainly be prosecuted for speeding without blues (unless for the purpose of progression training, which is at speed taught without the use of lights/sirens).
0:01 is that an F430?

@Brandtalones
It's in ENGLAND, thats where imperial system comes from,,, the empire !
That white HGV,s height looks dangerously close to the height of the Bridges
Absolutely appalling how slow people are at moving over. I'd give half of them points for that standard of driving.
This was no James ward video
Lucky person whoever is recording :P

Brandtalones......well you thought wrong; it's still very much imperial.
@@YelpBullhorn no, we have a mixed system, eg miles for distances, celsius for temperature
What emergency service vehicle are you using? is it marked or unmarked> if so does it have blues?
nah it's just got sirens 😂

Whats the name of this siren?
Build into roof light bar...
No like do you know what it is called? like every siren has a name? for example: Premier Hazard 7009 or a Whelen 295 ???
I would guess a fairly old 09/10 Premier Hazard siren. But maybe wrong.

The loud one

It is easier to slow down than having to go through all the paperwork it would generate

Aha! The speedometer registered miles-per-hour as the more obvious.
Thick or not, America rules!
What? That made no sense?
