      I met your Dad in London at Fatman's old restaurant in Haringey once and I said "Striker Sir, thank you for all you have done for the world of music" and he shook my hand and said "thank YOU for enjoying my works". He was a lovely charming warm man and he is greatly missed.

    The master himself Sir Lloyd James. I have had the privilege to be in the first studio, to the new studio to your home, your daughter's home in Canada and to see you at my home not many people can get that privilege. I text the King today and right after that text i got the notification of the video. Big up 2Line Muscle.

    With respect to Farda Jack Scorpio, the late great Winston Riley, Fatis and the other great producers, King Jammys was THE Man in dancehall in the 80s. I am so glad he is still around making great music.

    Muscle, you need a whole day work with the King. Too much to cover in 79 minutes. I hope you got a chance to schedule another interview same time. Another Jamaica’s icon! I could see my buddy Johnson face now, from Waterhouse, talking about Jammy’s when we were working Cockburn Penn.

    Is just the other day, I was wondering, what did “King” Jammy do for the community, other than make money perpetually off the musicians. Him no build nuh school, nuh supermarket, nuh nutting! Yes, he’s a legend, but what did he give back? Don’t say music…

    • @Peter.Piessens
      @Peter.Piessens 5 месяцев назад

      Maybe he did some things that we don't know of. I heard different stories about him that were not so positieve.
      But yes, he is a reggae legend.

    • @lion8608
      @lion8608 5 месяцев назад +1

      Scientist said he was Jammys teacher and I believe him. You can hear it in their mixes.
      When Scientist came on the music scene, he changed the Reggae sound to a high fidelity (Hi Fi) sound that no other engineers did and he was the youngest of them all.
      Bunny Lee always said that Hopeton Overton Brown aka Scientist is the KING of Dub.
      I know that, again cause the proof is in his works in all the music he Mixed.
      Jammys also took credit for Scientist. works

He comes to court and tell a bunch of lies talking about he's on the board of directors. This slime ball. is no king. and he could not wait to name himself. King after King Tubbby died..
