    Best part of this video are the torque specs you give! Saves me time from looking it up!

      Actually the best part of the video is where he put the brake pads in and no grease on the hardware or brake pad ears..hackery at it's best. Maybe he didn't see the molly grease included with the Akebona brakes

    I do put a dab of brake grease on the pad slider, as well as I take out the 14mm bolts, clean them off, and reapply grease on them too.

    Very detailed video, thank you. Is Durago rotors better than OEM? I ordered the OEM from Toyota before I watch your video

    Thank you for your tutorial, it’s really helpful. It’s easy to replace the driver side, but the passenger side it’s really hard to remove the bracket for rotor’s replacement , the nuts stuck because some oil leaks. Do you know what the reason to cause the oil leaking is ? Really appreciate

      Nuts can’t be stuck cuz of leaking oil and oil on brakes? Over all job is same on other side

    You don’t have to slightly open the bleeder valve when compressing the pistons? I thought it could ruin the ABS module if you forced brake fluid back up the lines

    • @RBTheMechanic
      @RBTheMechanic  Год назад +1

      Nope it’s open lines to master cylinder

      If you open the bleeder valve you need to do a ABS system flush using a diagnostic tool.

    Rotors on a 2017 needs to be replaced? Either the rotors are made in china, the driver is horrible at maintenance, or the repair shop is ripping off a customer

      Warped rotors that can happne to brand new car with 500 miles

      Mine are warped also. Very badly. The sienna is a heavy monster. All you need Is a big hill and puddle of water to find the rotors! They get hotter than a 2 dollar pistol.
