Thank you! I’ve done several brake jobs, but this was the first on my Sienna. Excellent job explaining step-by-step while keeping things moving along at a good pace! Everything on my brake job was as you explained, and it was like having you alongside helping me. Keep up the good work!
Check the slide pins for freedom of movement. If they are stiff, add some lube. Check the boots. If they are good the pins will pop right in with inward pressure. Clean the rotors before installing the pads.
Thank you for your excellent presentation video. I will really appreciate it, if you could let us know the exact tools, including the sizes of wrench sockets, power tools. Thank you again. !
You should watch out for brake fluid in extension brake reservoir while compressing brake pistons, because it's going to rise and spill over. 8:35 You could put some anti-seize paste in addition of using sand paper. WD-40 will evaporate in the matter of couple of days.
Today my car 2011 sienna Limited cost me $1700 with parts and Lober price, my car only need break pads and right bearing , but mechanic change both front Struts assembly with stabilizer link and dog bone mount right side , after 6 hours they bring the bill $1700 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 two Lober charge me for 6 hours $1080 , I Take my car to my friend to fix it but it cost really too much $1700 😕😕

What's the name of the Gun he is using to take the screws out?
If you don't have a fancy brake piston tool, using a C-clamp with one of the old pads works just as well.
Plus 1 on that idea - been doing it that way for years. 👍🏻👍🏻

Isn’t it easier if you just use the old brake pad to compress it with a C clamp? But very good detailed instructions my friend.

You put on black painted rotors. Shouldn't you remove the black paint from the pad contact area to keep the paint from glazing onto the pads?
