Good advice for when traveling keep about 5 gallons of fresh water in tank so if you have to use bathroom or want to make lunch and need water or break down and need to sit for a few hours you have water that’s accessible from your unit while down. Then drain it back out once you are back home or at camp site
We always have traveled with a full water tank. Negligible difference in towing, handling. I know where my water came from. Have had campgrounds that for various reasons have had water outages, delivery problems, ( broken lines) but we have water. When available water at campground proves satisfactory, we will use their city or we'll supply. But always have a backup. 30 years traveling, having great times. You can always drain the freshwater tank at home if it's not needed.
We just brought home a lightly used 2021 Jayco 195 RB. Still smells new inside. Our first camper, and we're excited to try it out. There are some nice improvements in this 22. Happy Trails.
Plan on full time living in one. I’m 6’5” but these ceilings are 6’9” The cost of living in this country is insane. Tons of private owners renting out spots for 400$ here in the gulf 🎉
I love this RV this RV looks so nice I’m 13 looking into Rvs my mother also looks into RV and I just notice rvs really look like apartments and one day I will want to have my own RV
I've looked at tons of rv videos but this is the one that gets my two thumbs up! Love the north/south bed and the big closet. Don't think I can say enough about this one! The floor plan makes much more sense than many others as well. The small side dinette is awesome. Thanks for the review Mike!!
same, I've been watching videos for weeks now trying to find the "no compromise" one and this video is very well thought out. He gave us everything a potential buyer would want to know. If I'm being nit-picky I would have liked to see the dinette turned all the way into a bed, but that's such a small thing. The video is great, so great that I might have found my camper lol
I’d like to see those side cabinets opened next to the bed. Also, I’ve seen the “side table” on the left side of bed open as a laundry chute to below the bed. Does this have that?
Mike in 1983 I traded in a 21’ pull behind trailer for a brand new Jayco Jcrane 35’8” Fifth wheel. I was in the Navy so I took it across the states several times…when I retired with 20 years of duty I did not enjoy paying Kansas State Personal Property Taxes so I sold it…what was I thinking? Jayco stands behind their Warranty 100%! I will be looking, next year for just a pull behind trailer! Thank you for your video!
@@MisterMikeTexas yes Kansas has a Personal Property Tax! The 74" long RV queen bed is a deal breaker for me. And 20 gallons of fresh water isn't nearly enough. The Jay Feather Micro 166FBS is a lot smaller and still has a 55 gallon fresh water tank. This looks to be a very bare bones entry-level trailer.
Like it, but I'd do 24 ft. Nice and modern. I prefer a bedrooms blocked off and a sink in the bathroom, and a couch in place of the dinette, switch that around with he kitchen and make it a slide out. This is great though. Would consider purchasing!
Very nice I would add a tv just for those rainy days. At least you could watch movies. I would change out the toilet to porcelin as well. Love the two burn idea and the counter space.
I'm glad they upgraded this model to have a 'real' fridge...That short awning almost looks like an afterthought...And no plastic tub surround in the shower, just basic walls ? I can see that being a problem...thanks Mike !!
I agree, I would want a plastic surround in the shower..........wouldn't want the shower walls to become water logged as the unit gets older. I also wouldn't mind some form of sink in the bathroom, even if it were one of those little mini sinks that mounts in the shower. Interesting floorpan.
@@gerard2620 well you can always store beer inside the pantry and then just move it to the fridge as needed. Vice versa for food doesn’t turn out that great…
I really like the large 2 Dr fridge ♥️ and storage space, Excellent! Do they still have the Convection Microwave or is that an option! Love the counter space and glass top on the burners, cute! Did I miss the TV? And when u opened the bathroom, I was expecting the full bath with 'sink, med cabinet, porcelain toilet and the Cute Curved Shower'. If I, me personally, had a choice between a N & S bed vs an E & W with the cute bathroom above written about, my choice would be the Cute Curved 'Full Roomy' Bathroom each time!! 👍♥️
Jaycos have always been my favorite for good reason. A slide would make this camper ideal! I’m sure there is one, just not in this video nonetheless, I love the entire layout. However, slide is a deal breaker. We have had too many without one. Ready for a change, we are! 🥰
@Kate Bloggs Slides are when the rv can extend part of its wall outwards to create a larger space in the RV. I personally don’t recommend slides. They tend to be unreliable after a certain period of time and ruin the integrity of the camper. Most units don’t come with a way to manually close the slide outs either. So if you end up camping and your slides give out. You’re kinda screwed.
Bed should be hidden during the day either by a wall or a sofa. Deal breaker unless there is a Murphy bed, adds seating option. Great video, as always!
An oven and larger freshwater tank would be awesome on this camper. If you could blend this layout with some of the features of the Coleman Lantern 17R (another reasonably-priced camper), it would be a no-brainer. I like the window unit AC and the electric fireplace for heat on the Coleman. Some call that stuff cheap, but I call it inexpensive and easy to replace/fix.
Cute unit. Do any companies make an RV (especially the small units such as this one) with a Murphy bed? Wow, here’s an idea…how about looking into adding a foldable table/benches on the outside of the Murphy bed (when the bed is folded up). Imagine the extra space that would give you! I’m a pretty creative person. I can easily visualize things and tend to come up with ideas “outside the box”. It’s amazing to me that we don’t see them being used. There must be a reason, perhaps it’s an engineering issue. Anyway, that’s my two cents. I’d love to get feedback on this topic. Thx
Great layout .. I would change the bed to a twin or full size .. Not everyone needs of wants a queen .. And all faucets and hardware would be switch out to chrome or white .. Glad they got rid of the dark grey's and colors .. Can't stand them ..

Sunday: CLOSED
Could you have a Murphy bed put in ? Thank you
So close. Bigger stove and sink. just sacrifice a little counter space to do so. Then add flip up extension on the counter side towards the bed. I'd buy it for sure then.
Very beautiful interior
What is measurement of bed. Is there TV included or at least hookups?
Are those windows around that bed large enough to jump out of in the event you're in bed and you need to vacate the trailer immediately?
Awesome just luv it I want one
What is the length of this one long ways?
Dimensions show up at 0:25. 21' 10"
