It had to be and was always going to be. Last night I found out there'd been a 4th series of The League of Gentlemen, in 2017. I'd forgotten how damn good (and creepy) it was. That series, and also 'Inside no.9' by the same people would be well worth checking out. ;)

They mention a place called Diss a few times. I live near there! Alot of places in East Anglia in England mentioned too which is where this is based. Norwich. 😀

Every time you listen to Cuddly Toy by Roachford you can hear Alan saying “Your fog lamps are on!” in the background.
Roachford - cuddly toy
Now that's a banging 80's tune
so happy they kept it small scale like the show instead of selling out to hollywood (simon pegg and paul)
I agree that this felt like a proper movie - not just an extended version of the TV series.
I agree man they did a great job with this!

ALAN: Was I a kind man?
LYNN: Very kind. I remember when you were defrosting your freezer and you gave me all that bacon.
The reflection in Alan's glasses during his surfing tell another story . . .
Haha lol
I'm watching this in my house/flat that overlooks the Pier in Cromer that Alan drives to at the end of the movie.
