tbf, I love Adam (more than) just as everyone else but I feel like he should have been the one to miss against Iceland in the penalty shots. I feel like it would have been a better lesson to teach kids that even the best people have their moments, especially since he was injured previously. The thing about Conway is, his role in the movies changed so dramatically. First movie, he’s Spazway at first but then is the hero. Second movie, he’s basically a glorified coach. Third movie, he’s a beast. At least the other players are more or less consistent. Banks is always a superstar. Averman is always the clown who’s underrated as a player.
I never thought that Goldberg was that good. I was surprised that he started ahead of Julie in the second movie. When Julie took over as starter in the third I thought to myself it's about time!
Even as a kid I always thought Julie should've started. Glad they emphasized Julie's talent in D3. If I made D4, I would've made Adam Banks and Julie stars of Eden Hall. I also wish some Hawks players played on the USA team. They would've had a better chance against ICELAND

I played hockey in the 90s, stopped just about every knuckle puck with my skates, the others I just watched go too wide to care about, pity too, I liked that move.
Dean portman was my favorite, he always seemed so cool to me. Julie from Bangor, I thought it was cool I graduated from Bangor. These are still some of my favorite movies all time! I'm one of the people who believes the movies get better as they go

I totally agree but if Jesse was still with the team for the 3rd movie then D4, D5 he would be in the pros as well with Conway and Banks hands down. Go back and watch D1 and D2 look at how many times Jesse Halls name is called 💯💯

The cat should be slightly lower bcuz she gets ejected and didn’t get enough play time. Cowboy up, Kenny Wu up, Jesse Hall up to #2. Russ down he’s too easily defensed as a one trick. Charlie down, Fulton down. But the real winner is that Brian guy, sounds like a stud (just my unbiased opinion)

Maybe its a competitive game and Banks doesn't get injured. Maybe she stops them from scoring all together? Does she get scored on at all??
Apart from the rankings of Russ and Connie, I pretty much agree with your ranking and I especially agree on what you said about Charlie. Yeah, Guy is extremely underrated and I wish they delved abit more into his character. Jesse was playing street hockey in the 2nd movie, so it wasn't just Adam that was practicing/playing.
Except he primarily plays as a d-man. Forwards are everyone except (Russ, Portman, him and Goldberg) The movie Ducks only run two lines of D due to number of players.
Adam is the best out of all of them. Even the best out of every player they faced in all three movies. He is so good I think he's tied or maybe slightly better than Coach Bombay. That's just my personal opinion.
Love Jesse at #3. He was a baller. You see that street hockey scene in D2 where he nutmegs a guy and then deftly knocks the ball in the bin? He also spearheaded the Flying V.
Asmosis Jones not Julie. She should’ve started instead of Goldberg in D2, but Bombay was more familiar with Goldberg. Charlie’s had a weird arc. He was Spazway in D1 except for his winning goal, and D2 he didn’t contribute much as a player, even sitting out of the title game. D3 he was suddenly a beast. But Jesse was always the better player in D1 and D2.

The breakdown for Guy was great, I barely remembered and never realized the magnitude of the team picking him to take the last shot. I think I remember he confidently stood up to take the shot too.
This was a GREAT vid. PPL can be as mad as they want about the ranking BUT you gave valid reasons. Not a soul can ever get mad about #1. without a doubt, we all knew who number 1 is. #2 tho? That makes sense. Plus, how clutch #2 always is consistently.
A few things. 1. The reason some weren’t in the second movie was because in the first movie Bombay was coaching peewee hockey, the second movie was junior hockey, likely in the Bantam class which is the ages of 13 and 14, meaning some of them weren’t qualified. 2. When Charlie was getting the group back together, Jesse was playing, chances are that could amount to consistent practice.
He's quick. He scored many goals. He used his figure skating abilities to break up the aggressive Iceland defense. The guy must have taken that into consideration in his rankings.
Tammy's actress told the Quack Attack podcast a few years ago that her contract for D1 included the (then-hypothetical) sequels, but they replaced her with Ken Wu to make the cast more diverse.

I believe that moment when Bombay chose Charlie to take the shot was what made him become a better player. And progress throughout the series. I’d have Charlie at my top 3

Jacob a lot of people have been pointing that out how Guy played a pretty vital role in the movies, so this list might need an update. That is such a good idea, I think I will take that idea and rank the best opponents the ducks faced off against!

Here’s my thing I like the progression of Charlie, fav character obviously but he’s better than Fulton. And Fulton even says it himself in the 3rd one where him and Charlie are skipping school and Charlie says let’s go play juniors in Canada and Fulton says “I’m not good enough to play juniors”
Fulton is still a pretty weak skater and that is huge in hockey. That's the reason he's utilized so little in the first. Yeah he has a snapshot, but he can't move, pass or defend. This improves in the movies, but his movement is a problem
He can pass and defend in the second movie he makes the pass to kenny to score the first point against Iceland in the final match just knock someone down steal the puck and make another pass like that and technically it’s defense
wow, i didn't even realized that there were videos such as this. i like it. d2 was one of favorites childhood movies as well. i'd watched it on vhs so many times as a wee lad. i later found out that the vhs was not a completed copy.. the last act where the team had gotten their new ducks jerseys had a whole sequence cut shorter. when i had found this out and saw the uncut version, i nearly shed a tear 😭 i was like "ohhhhhhh" no wonder!! man, if it wasn't for my mother simply shopping for disney "kids" or family movies and sending them down to jamaica 🇯🇲, i wouldn't have known about d2. because of d2, i had learn how to skate. 😂 even used my allowance to buy a hockey stick and practiced the knuckle puck shot with a makeshift puck.
Outside of Mendoza being ahead of Tyler, I totally agree.. Louis' speed rarely helped the team... Totally AGREE with Conway's placement. He was only sick on the 3rd one. AGREE with Guy too.. He was the only good one before Banks showed up. WRONG with Goldberg. Gaffney did the important stuff but he DID hold it down on the third one.
Guy should be higher than Jessie. Not only does he stay long but just like he says in the video the Ducks wanted him to take the Pen Shot, not Jessie. Even though I would say Guy is higher than Jessie in D2, what really cements his position higher than Jessie is how he learns to play defense (the whole Ducks team philosophy prior to D3 was mostly scoring, it isn't until an Ex-NHL player coaches them that they actually learn to play at a way higher level.)
I disagree about Dwayne Robertson not being a team player. Don't forget he saved Connie from being crushed by Olaf Sanderson in D2. Granted he took a penalty for roping on the play, but considering the alternative? I'd like to keep him as my teammate.
Yes but that's about the only thing he does. When he had like 3 players on him and was even being told to *PASS THE PUCK* he doesn't, turns it over as it ends up in their net.

Jesse Hall Was The Best! Jesse & Banks were the Only two Ducks still practicing in D2 while Everyone else was doing their own thing at the beginning of the movie...Jesse had such a Big Role in D1 I dissed liked them for watering him down in D2...He still had his Classic Short Tempered Smart Mouth Ima tell you/show you how I feel Attitude, but it just wasn't the same in D2, they kinda just pushed him back & gave more lines to Russ Tyler & then in D3 Jesse is Gone & Russ took his place, & no one Not even Banks or even Averman mentioned Jesse being Gone & they were the closest ones to Jesse Especially Banks...I wish Jesse & Portman could have had more dialogue together because their Attitude was very Identical & Jesse was a physical player on & ice off the ice like the Bash Brothers plus if you Notice Portman was Always standing next to Jesse too & not just Folton all the time outta all the players on the Team Jesse is the ONLY ONE Portman Never Messed with, but he skated passed Jesse when Portman came out he stood his Ground and Portman had mad Respect for him...They also could have Explored Jesse & Banks Friendship from Rivals to Friends a bit more in D2 after the events in D1 & Jesse would've Most Definitely had Banks & All the other Ducks backs in D3 against the Varsity & the scene against Russ & his older brother was Jesse's Moment to Really Shine in the movie & I felt they took that part away from him too & when Iceland interrupts their practice & the Coach Talks mess to Gordon & his Team when he tells them to get your Coach off the Ice after hitting his leg the team holds back both Portman & Folton, but if you look real closely on the right side Hans Brother & other Ducks are Holding back Jesse too when they were about to Fight Iceland, but you cant really tell because Jeese is Short without his skates on...I Love the Mighty Ducks Movies & I have other Ducks on the Team I Favor, but Jesse will Always be my Favorite Duck. 💯💯

I’d put Conway 4th mainly cuz of how good he was in the 3rd movie. He was all around one of the Ducks best players by the end of the 3rd movie. If we went by the first 2 movies, Charlie would be ranked way lower. I do agree with the rest of the list though.

He was Spazway in D1 except for his winning goal, and D2 he didn’t contribute much as a player, even sitting out of the title game. D3 he was suddenly a beast. But Jesse was always the better player in D1 and D2.

The breakdown for Guy was great, I barely remembered and never realized the magnitude of the team picking him to take the last shot. I think I remember he confidently stood up to take the shot too.
This was a GREAT vid. PPL can be as mad as they want about the ranking BUT you gave valid reasons.
Not a soul can ever get mad about #1. without a doubt, we all knew who number 1 is. #2 tho? That makes sense. Plus, how clutch #2 always is consistently.
Guy and Adam are the only players in the team that could make it to the NHL.

My 3 favorites are Guy Germaine, Adam Banks, & Fulton Reed, because they are highly Skilled Players and definitely great at Scoring as well!🤘🤘
A few things.
1. The reason some weren’t in the second movie was because in the first movie Bombay was coaching peewee hockey, the second movie was junior hockey, likely in the Bantam class which is the ages of 13 and 14, meaning some of them weren’t qualified.
2. When Charlie was getting the group back together, Jesse was playing, chances are that could amount to consistent practice.

Jacob a lot of people have been pointing that out how Guy played a pretty vital role in the movies, so this list might need an update. That is such a good idea, I think I will take that idea and rank the best opponents the ducks faced off against!

Here’s my thing I like the progression of Charlie, fav character obviously but he’s better than Fulton. And Fulton even says it himself in the 3rd one where him and Charlie are skipping school and Charlie says let’s go play juniors in Canada and Fulton says “I’m not good enough to play juniors”
Fulton is still a pretty weak skater and that is huge in hockey. That's the reason he's utilized so little in the first. Yeah he has a snapshot, but he can't move, pass or defend. This improves in the movies, but his movement is a problem

wow, i didn't even realized that there were videos such as this. i like it. d2 was one of favorites childhood movies as well. i'd watched it on vhs so many times as a wee lad. i later found out that the vhs was not a completed copy.. the last act where the team had gotten their new ducks jerseys had a whole sequence cut shorter. when i had found this out and saw the uncut version, i nearly shed a tear 😭 i was like "ohhhhhhh" no wonder!! man, if it wasn't for my mother simply shopping for disney "kids" or family movies and sending them down to jamaica 🇯🇲, i wouldn't have known about d2. because of d2, i had learn how to skate. 😂 even used my allowance to buy a hockey stick and practiced the knuckle puck shot with a makeshift puck.

Outside of Mendoza being ahead of Tyler, I totally agree.. Louis' speed rarely helped the team... Totally AGREE with Conway's placement. He was only sick on the 3rd one. AGREE with Guy too.. He was the only good one before Banks showed up. WRONG with Goldberg. Gaffney did the important stuff but he DID hold it down on the third one.

Guy should be higher than Jessie. Not only does he stay long but just like he says in the video the Ducks wanted him to take the Pen Shot, not Jessie. Even though I would say Guy is higher than Jessie in D2, what really cements his position higher than Jessie is how he learns to play defense (the whole Ducks team philosophy prior to D3 was mostly scoring, it isn't until an Ex-NHL player coaches them that they actually learn to play at a way higher level.)

Jesse Hall Was The Best! Jesse & Banks were the Only two Ducks still practicing in D2 while Everyone else was doing their own thing at the beginning of the movie...Jesse had such a Big Role in D1 I dissed liked them for watering him down in D2...He still had his Classic Short Tempered Smart Mouth Ima tell you/show you how I feel Attitude, but it just wasn't the same in D2, they kinda just pushed him back & gave more lines to Russ Tyler & then in D3 Jesse is Gone & Russ took his place, & no one Not even Banks or even Averman mentioned Jesse being Gone & they were the closest ones to Jesse Especially Banks...I wish Jesse & Portman could have had more dialogue together because their Attitude was very Identical & Jesse was a physical player on & ice off the ice like the Bash Brothers plus if you Notice Portman was Always standing next to Jesse too & not just Folton all the time outta all the players on the Team Jesse is the ONLY ONE Portman Never Messed with, but he skated passed Jesse when Portman came out he stood his Ground and Portman had mad Respect for him...They also could have Explored Jesse & Banks Friendship from Rivals to Friends a bit more in D2 after the events in D1 & Jesse would've Most Definitely had Banks & All the other Ducks backs in D3 against the Varsity & the scene against Russ & his older brother was Jesse's Moment to Really Shine in the movie & I felt they took that part away from him too & when Iceland interrupts their practice & the Coach Talks mess to Gordon & his Team when he tells them to get your Coach off the Ice after hitting his leg the team holds back both Portman & Folton, but if you look real closely on the right side Hans Brother & other Ducks are Holding back Jesse too when they were about to Fight Iceland, but you cant really tell because Jeese is Short without his skates on...I Love the Mighty Ducks Movies & I have other Ducks on the Team I Favor, but Jesse will Always be my Favorite Duck. 💯💯

I’d put Conway 4th mainly cuz of how good he was in the 3rd movie. He was all around one of the Ducks best players by the end of the 3rd movie. If we went by the first 2 movies, Charlie would be ranked way lower. I do agree with the rest of the list though.
