First time I bleached it, it was all shades of orange! Lol! Also a friend of mine used a clour called 'Canary Yellow' but it was more like 'parrot-green' :D

@@abraxis20 Ooo i remember when i did mine a lizard green from manic panic, loved it! Sometimes you gotta bleach it a few times to get the orange out haha! :D

from a hairdresser, that’s a good tutorial ! Maybe use 20 volume with the bleach because your roots already produces heat which help lighten and 20 volume is a little longer to process but it comes out less yellow in the end most of the times 💗 love love love the outcome !
Directions is the best hair dye ever! I used to use it when I was a teen. I think my mum has used every colour they've ever made, she went through a LOT of hair dye in the late 80s-early 90s lol. Great video as always, they always brighten my day and make me laugh :)

Another great video, loved it. I let my sister dye my hair once when I was 16. It was meant to be red tips. But it turned out to be pink. I wasn't bothered. But it was at a time where you'd get bullied for having anything "girly". Can't wait for next weeks video now. It's like the highlight of my week.

Omg what a good idea to use a plastic bag instead of foil, never thought of it before. I love all the colors🌈, but my favorite all time still is turquoise 😻
My caregiver also uses these colours for me when she makes my hair. That's what makes her great.

Hi Lauren. Love the video. It came up as soon as I went on RUclips just now. I love that you show how you do your hair yourself, whereas so many musicians just pretend to do the DIY thing! I've been cutting, dyeing and styling my own hair since I was 13, now 37. I cut my mums hair for her & people often ask me to dye and cut their hair but I'm scared in case I mess it up 😂 I just went back to bright red and I really fried my hair first but it was worth it to have the brightest red ever! You got me so scared when you were combing bits that had bleach on it - please don't do that, I've seen people do that and their hair just breaks off on the comb! I break the rules too though - not supposed to use 40 volume peroxide on hair but i often do because it does the job! Have you tried Alex Plex by Bleach London? It comes in sachets that you mix into bleach to protect your hair more. Its vegan and cruelty free and i do recommend it if you really need to use bleach but you know your hair is damaged. Seeing your videos makes me smile. Take care girl ❤

I’m bleaching my hair by myself for the very first time (I have a balayage BUT I told the stylist to bleach my whole head, she didn’t) anyways I’m bleaching the whole thing and dye it blue mixed with a little purple🖤

Question for anyone who knows: when I got my hair dyed it was professionally done and I sat under one of those heater things (?) to sort of bake in the color. Is there any at home equivalent of this? Does it actually matter? I’m curious

Aww Georgia im so sorry you feel like you can't do what you want because of your family. I've been lucky to have parents that didn't mind what I did as long as it wasn't tattoos! My mum hates my stretched ears though, they've been 12mm since I was 14 and she still winces nearly 10 years later if I leave my stretchers out! HAHA!!
I have 1 month old dreadlocks. How you do the maintenance?
After about a year i stopped with any maintenance, I used to use shampoos for dreads and roll them all the time and use a crochet hook for lose hairs but then just let them freeform. I never touch them now which is GREAT!

This brings back such happy memories of using 7th dimension bleach, my hair going pure white and the end result hair like a sunset. Did your hair turn mad when you sectioned it, you've got one lively house with all the inmates screaming.
