After S-Class, Item, Super Bowl, Hall of Fame AND Top Line, we were SURE the following songs would finally fall into the b-side track realm but.....nope :') It's SKZ, and that means every song is a title track.
Another super fun, and fascinating music from stray kids and phew, this one was a difficult one to stay still to - as the title suggests, it really makes you dance like crazy. :D Always appreciating what they're doing, and this album so far has been, indeed, 5 star!

The thing is, it's entirely possible they wrote this song five years ago, in their early days. They hold onto songs until they think it's the moment to release them.
Superbowl on this album was actually written as the title track for the Go Live album three years ago, but was replaced last minute by God's Menu. Superbowl then stayed in the vault until 5-Star, when it was converted to English by Chan and Felix.
The Sound, from their Japanese album, was written three or four years before that released too.

@@lexi.bashaw55 3RACHA were asked once how many songs they've written, which at the time was about 150 that had been released. But Han said that if you count all the songs they've written that are sitting on Chan's laptop it runs into many hundreds. They could probably put out albums for the next ten years even if they all stopped writing new songs right now.
For God's Menu, that was a very last minute switch up. The Go Live album was all set and ready to go when 3RACHA wrote God's Menu. They went to JYP and asked if they could switch out Superbowl (which was originally called God's Menu) for what is now called God's Menu. They didn't think they had a chance of it happening because the album was so close to being finished, but everyone agreed how good it was so they made it happen.
And thank goodness they did! Superbowl is such a good song, but God's Menu really brought them worldwide attention and started them down the path they're on now.
This is a Changbin song ❤. Your question on 03:12 it was Hyunjin singing, he's amazing in this album. Everyone actually did great. This definitely is a song that makes you dance. Love your reaction ❤. Get lit is a Han song, excited for you to get to it.

I do really love this song and I usually don't like this genre of music. I also love love love this music video. There's something really beautiful about it. Like we are living the memories of this friend group. It feels like how I feel when I look at old photos and videos from my college days. Nostalgic. ❤

I really love the vibe and underlying message of this song - that line about being carried away so that the world looks smaller gets me every time. The music really makes me feel like dancing so mission accomplished! Also the inclusion of those great dancers in the video - there is a behind the scenes of the making of the video on the Stray Kids channel if you're interested. Filming and dancing in Paris...what's not to love? Though...I read that Lee Know is phobic about heights so all praise to him for dancing on a rooftop. GET LIT is a really catchy song I honestly wish it was twice as long. The video is ...lets just say its kind of an aesthetic punch in the face. 😎
DLC is the song that is a nostalgic song for me. Like it gives you this feeling of remembering something from the past.
For Get Lit, yeah, it going to kill you hahaha. That's my fave song from the album.

When I first listened to the album teaser, I thought that Topline, Super Bowl, and Item would be my most replayed songs. But immediately after the album was released, I couldn’t stop listening to DLC and FNF😂 now I listen to those first 3 way more but DLC and FNF had a MASSIVE chokehold on me for like 3 weeks after 5 Star dropped
as an aussie fnf makes me wanna sob yet I still listen to it so much so I feel you lol can’t stop won’t stop 😅
I love DLC, no matter how bad my day was it never fails to make me smile and want to move my body. The lyrics are also very meaningful in my opinion. And i really like the mv with the sombre and melancholy colour palate and the amazing dancers. It's just a great song overall 💕🔥

OMG YES! The first thing I thought of when they released the teaser of DLC was that it sounded like Double Knot! And I'm here for it! I just love when they use heavy brass in their songs.. and they use it a lot 💙
The elements they incorporated are what gets me. It's very catchy, very fun. I love it. Really an unexpected song considering the songs that start off the album.

I love DLC so much she deserves all the attention. Get Lit is so club worthy! And FNF and Youtiful are so pretty uuugh really 5-STAR was an incredible album. I can't wait for y'all to go more into other albums and listen to all the genre and ballads skz have written and sung because your surprise at hearing dlc made me giggle.
I do think that after you finish 5-STAR you should listen to Rockstar (the next album) and then go back but i'm ok with anything !
DLC is my favourite track from 5 Star, yes it has that nostalgic feeling but the lyrics resonate with me the most. Always expect the unexpected with skz lol

Your going to love Get Lit and Social Path! Your going to have to flip a coin to decide both are amazing songs. I have yet to hear anything from them that would be considered a b-side track.

the instrumental in the chorus is really familiar. idk maybe because i was into kpop from 2nd gen and i’ve heard something somewhat familiar to dlc’s instrumental but i can’t pinpoint which song😭

I think DLC, alongside ITEM, is my favorite song from the album. I live the simple, cheerful vibe, with the nostalgic feel, and since I'm so fond of old skz music, I might understand more now, through your video, why I like it so much.
Sometimes simple songs are needed as a little break between the heavy and complicated (and amazing) ones

I've been trying to figure out what sample they used at the end since the song dropped and i can't place it! I'm 100% sure i heard that lalala before
I kinda think that since you mentioned trebley vocals, the "lalalala" part towards the end is supposed to be trebly (or if not that, then atleast strained). It really sounds like Lee Know strained his vocals a bit to sing the lalala part which is intentional. What I'm trying to say is that the lalala part could be interpreted in two ways-
1. It's imitating the times when you go to a concert/pub *strain your vocal chords while "dancing like crazy."*
2. It's imitating *a cry for help* which goes with theme of song since the song is upbeat but some of the lyrics are sad (like "please don't care about me, it's okay" and Felix 's part "I better run") .
In short, Stray Kids are geniuses.
