It always blows my mind that Levanter was written prior to October 2019 because it is the perfect transition song between who the group was prior to becoming 8 and who they are as 8. The next title track after this was God’s Menu which is when, to me, Stray Kids truly found and embraced their unique flavor. Their past discography is still _amazing_ but there is just such a clear aesthetic shift with God’s Menu that has become a signature of theirs. The fact that Levanter had already been planned for this album and yet it is literally perfect for this transitional moment is just……8 is fate.

Lee Mujin's acoustic guitar version of LEVANTER is stunning. It is the first minute or so of LEE MUJIN SERVICE EP 2 featuring SEUNGMIN. Please do check it out because apart from his beautiful voice and arrangement, it really makes you focus on the lyrics.

skz zre my number 1. love them. but this is such a.. i dont know, it's always a skip for me. It sounds super mainstream and most of the melodies sound familiar, you know? it seems even the guys agree.. they ALWAYS talk about the production and this time they're like 'this has a concert finale vibe!', 'look at the dance!', 'it looks like a water shot'.. the only thing musically I think that was in the reaction was about the electric guitar and the voice only part lol. But always appreciate skz on the channel!
