Dear Mrs. Rachel, many thanks for your kind posting of this videos. It is a really appreciated help, I personally keep working with them already for 3 years and think that many cello students all around the world do so. Lots of love from middle Europe!
You played this piece so much better than others I've heard. I was so impressed that I forwarded it to my 12-year old grandson who is a cello student. He was impressed, too. I hope your video will make him continue to take lessons. Thank you.
I still remember when I graduated from music high school with this piece, it is nice to remember, although I must confess that I feel a lot of nostalgia, it has already been many years that I do not play like 4 years
BRAVO! wish I Could play this as well. I am still mastering that allegro as an adult student. It's in the Suzuki book and after 4 years still can't play it as well (smile)
Wow you really are amazing and I have no I idea how to play that, my teacher keeps telling me if I listen to it I would learn the rhythm but I just can not!!! but you are amazing so every time I am supposed to learn from your video I just go to my dreams instead of learning it lol!!
I love listening to you play! I am working on my auditions pieces and was wondering if this would classify for two contrasting movements of a sonata? Thanks for the help and beautiful music to listen to!
Ally Tew I'm fairly certain that this should do the trick for any audition. If all else fails, the Romberg Cello Sonata Op. 38 in E minor is a great entry level Sonata for any audition, and if played very clearly and precisely will always impress the person giving the audition.
i might do this for audtionions to chamber (Ther really good orchestra at my highschool) orchestra... its in may or whatever... just got done with volume 4, so im ready to go onto 5. :)
Omg I know your pain, I'm a cello and bass player in an piece called the Christmas concerto by corelli there was no real bass part. Just cello. I had to play super fast TENOR CLEFF calling it death would be an understatement.
I gotta play this for an honors orchestra audition on a bass, i know your pain of having to play cello parts because nobody actually writes fun bass parts ;-;
Zach Attack false, that is just the opening of the video not the actual song. In the beginning of thunderstruck, Irish seems as though they are in a classical concert, so they choose this part in their video.
Allegro starts at 2:45
Thank you
Bri - You can always slow down the playback speed of you need a slower reference.

Nice! Glad to hear this comment. Let me know if you have any requests regarding a new cello piece. I'd love to do more for all.

Thanks! This is really helping me get a feeling for my audition piece.
How was your audition? I know my response is pretty too late, but just want to know your cello playing experience.
BRAVO! wish I Could play this as well. I am still mastering that allegro as an adult student. It's in the Suzuki book and after 4 years still can't play it as well (smile)
she probably has 30+ years of 2+ hours per day practice
Practice, practice! You must be very good right now. Can you share your cello playing?
I'm playing the accompaniment for this piece. This is the best version I've come across on RUclips- legit!
Wow you really are amazing and I have no I idea how to play that, my teacher keeps telling me if I listen to it I would learn the rhythm but I just can not!!! but you are amazing so every time I am supposed to learn from your video I just go to my dreams instead of learning it lol!!

Bravo ! Joli son.
Is it normal to be asked to play this piece after learning a year of cello?
It's so hard.
yeah it's hard, but I've been learning like a year and a half, and i'm studying it
+Katie Cake thanks for the advise. However, I guess the sight reading was not that much of a problem for me as I have a piano background.
2:48
i want to play like this!!!
Amazing!❤ 4:27
Thank you!😘

And at the begging she was really good on the trills

because you are too sealed up. It is actually very beautiful if you open up
Shouldn't the music do the step of opening one up instead of one just embracing everything from the start ?
Someing wrong.....

Any Haters wanna pay lip service? Post a video response of equal or better quality....Thought not.
Yes! I hate those washed up musicians who get into a sub-par school, so they have to hate on talented musicians. Ruins my day, man.
