Hi, it's a great video, thank you👏 I bought the Dio model and I want to record my stage performance from the mixer to my phone with Dio.. I wonder where should I plug the mixer output into Dio..? It has two inputs, for guitar and microphone.. should I plug my outputs from the mixer into these two outputs? I don't know about this now, thanks
Hi. Thank you so much for updating the video. One question, have you done Instagram Live show with irig pro duo? If yes, Could you tell me how to mute iPhone’s microphone? Live followers only can listen to the music through the irig?
Yes I’ve done many instagram lives with the duo pro and it works just fine! All you do is open up the instagram app and click “live” and then once you are actually live it reads your in ear mix from irig duo and plays it when you are live
Yeah this works on an iPhone 14! It does not charge your phone. Also, the irig duo is powered by 2 AA batteries 🪫 They will last you 3 hours. So be sure to replace them when needed
@@officialjls I’m sure that there is, I haven’t explored this idea yet, I record my inner mix and my camera separately and I also use a Sony camera. I line it all up and Ableton. I’ve got a pretty easy workflow that allows me to chop it up fairly quickly.
Hello there Ryan!! hey bro 😎 I just have a question.🙋♂️ so I have original IRig Pro I/O with just the One InPut at the Bottom. when I Plug in the 4inch side into my IRigPro Pro do I Plug-In the 8th inch side into my Splitter? Or do I Plug the Splitter into the Allen&Heath M.E then Plug that 8th Side into the Splitter if that makes sense. I Currently Ordered that cable that I need it’s Going to be here Monday so I have Church rehearsal the day after so I wanna MakeSure that All of this is going to Work. Get Nervous because this is the first time I’m Using my IRig at church so I wanna have Great Audio for my Videos!! I appreciate it Bro .
@@Theryanprim Okay Awesome!!! 👏 what Should I Set the Gain Level on my IRigPro at? Ohh and also do you ever use and IPhone Adapter to be able to charge Your Phone and Plug-in Your IRig Duo at the same time? just curious or Do you not really need it.
@@Theryanprim Ayy Ryan!! I just Wanted to Update you on how my IRigPro SetUp Went today and let me Just Tell you it Sounded Awesome!!!! 👏 I’ve been Doing my Drum Videos on the Socials but I’ve been Just Kinda Trying Different Things to see what I like and the IRigpro is Definitely a Winner 🏆
Hey Ryan, do you only use battery power for the iRig Pro duo, or do you ever connect to a DC power supply? If so, what kind of power supply do you use?
I’m sure that there is, you would have to probably Google that. But the nice thing is if you plug it into your computer with the USB c it keeps the irig charged
@@Theryanprim yeahh I’ll Have to Look it up on Google and see if I can Find one!! Ay bro also umm…when you Record ur Videos from your phone do you record them in 60fps? Or 30fps?
In theory you can, but it’s not designed to be. It still needs a power source like a phone and you would just plug in the headphone out into the camera. Your better bet is to get a portable recorder that can output directly to the camera if you’re wanting to mix things like a Zoom H4
@@Theryanprim just wanting to confirm if I’m reading it right. The duo seems to be for inputting two entirely different signals, the single input accepts a stereo signal, from what I’m reading.
@@arkeeper i’ll be honest, I’ve never used the regular pro, I only have experience with using the duo, but yes, it has two separate individual lines for the pro duo
This particular irig duo only has two inputs so you would have a mono mix from one cable and then your XLR for the mic and be plugged into the other input And then turn the 48v switch on that’s on the side
I tried doing this with the iRig usb and my phone won’t even power it to turn on. Tried getting a power hub and other ways to make it work but still now luck. Any suggestions?
But is this true stereo? My question is because yes you’re splitting the sound from your pack using the headphone jack but your pack I’m guessing is receiving a mono signal. So it’s not really doing stereo. Same thing if someone connects this setup to a P-16, the P-16 has 16 mono channels so if you’re a guitar player that is sending stereo to FOH but your P-16 is receiving your signal in mono, your iRig is recording the mono signal from the P-16 no matter what. Am I right? You can record your entire mix in stereo but not your individual instrument but if your mix you’re receiving is just a bunch of mono channels than there’s no need for stereo recording at all I’m guessing
Just got my iRig Pro Duo i/o! very pumped! Thanks for the video!
Nice!! That’s so cool
If I use the 2 line outs on the back of my Scarlett and put them into the irig duo, will that produce a stereo sound when plugged into my iPhone?

Hello is there a way that I could connect this to my sony camera because that's what I use for a lot of my drumming videos at church?

Great video! Whats the difference between using this and a basic irig2? Any benefits that Im missing?
Irig 2 is mono irig pro duo is stereo

Do you need the duo for stereo? I thought the regular pro i/o takes stereo in/out via the one input
I need the duo for how I record my mix personally but I’m sure the regular pro version works well too!

Are you plugging in your irig to the usb c cable? Or are you using the lighting cable?
Will it automatically record the audio once you hit record on your iPhone’s video?
That’s correct it will!
Can I run this same setup but with iRig2 ?
I’ve actually got another video that shows you how to run an irig 2
@@Theryanprim right. I’ve seen both, I was just verifying I can run the Same setup live.

how’d you get it to turn on using iPhone? Mine only works plugged in with USB 😢
The secret for it turning on, is you have to have your Apple iPhone video app open.
