Great out of the box demo of this product,I am looking forward to an updated video after you have used it in your studio and at one of your live gigs..I had read about this unit but this is the first out of the box demo I have seen..Great stuff..Rock On!!
Glad you enjoyed this video. just posted another video comparing the iRig Pro Duo with a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8. I was quite surprised with the results. ruclips.net/video/8vhmwZ1y-NQ/видео.html
Hey WoodBeast. Really like my Focusrite. I got it reluctantly last year. I was talking to my sales person in Guitar Center and he told me the Focusrite would do everything I was trying to do. He didn't lie and it does. Studio One can be a little quirky when not using Presonus Equipment but the Focusrite works with it. I'll try it again just to make sure and get back with you. I like the Focusrite as much as my Zoom equipment and that says a lot.
Thanks, Mine is on the way, bought it new on Ebay, hope I don’t have any issues with packaging. Sounds like it will do exactly what I need it too. I’ll run it thru my Fishman SA220 and my Ipad Pro.
Great video. I’m subscribed. I received this kit as a gift from my husband while we were living in California a few months ago and it took me a while to inbox it and set it up. Then, as soon as I figured it out to start using it, I got a chance to get into a new house but I had to take it right away this leaving my new studio set behind. It’s been well over a month and I’m excited to say my husband Adam will be here this Tuesday night and he is bringing the system with him on his flight. The rest of our stuff is on a slow freight to us in our new Pennsylvania home. I was hoping to find out if this kit has a regular telephone/Walkman style headphone jack to lightning port adapter or not. I might order one just for when I want to do Smule on the go with a simply old school phone earphones with mic set to be sociable online. They’re cheap and I guess you can’t have too many of them. They get lost and swiped easily.
You may want to look at something like this. That way you have two different devices. ruclips.net/video/ost5lCWWnw8/видео.html The iRig duo is really portable, the Focusrite will have better sound.
Hey Dev thanks for the video I'm trying my Irish product for the 1st time but my new ipad I used to use it with a mad book pro and it worked just fine 1st time I'm plugging in into the ipad it's Picking red high pitch like crazy Any idea what it could be
you have volume to high on something. I would disconnect everything. Turn on the Duo and see if it is there without any plugins. if it is the problem is your Duo. If that is fine I would start plugging things in. start with Mac book. MAKE SURE VOLUMES ARE TURNED OFF then start adding volume slowly to see what is causing the noise.
First thanks so much for the Vid👍 debb I'm tryin to figure out why I cant get my voice an electric at the same time. On just the camera on my phone, with the video of me. If that makes any sense.. lol just wondering? The voice only works but not the guitar. Do I have to have an app for both to work? Thanks. An new Sub here👍🙏🤘🤠🤟🤙⭐
HUNTER WRENN Music & vlogz you may want to check your software. Sounds like it only records one channel at a time? The Duo will do 2 mono or 1 stereo file at a time. Also make sure the right input/outputs are selected in the software. I have a playlist setup for home recording ruclips.net/p/PL1saSI1TQh5zkpRG4AWYX9b411BOJ8t9u&feature=share. You may find something in here to show software setup.
Musicians friend has terrible packing practices. I often mentioned this in the review but they never seem to change. They will throw the items in with tons of packing paper but nothing is secure. As for the blemishes it looks like you definitely got an open box model which should’ve been a lot cheaper in price.I keep saying that I won’t buy from them anymore but you are correct the prices are usually cheaper. I wonder if Sweetwater will do price comparison.
Hi Deb Erney. thanks for your demonstration. Deb Erney i have an issue about AA Battery Volt. i rig pro duo come with 1 pair AA "1.5" Volt Battery but in my country i found all rechargeable AA Battery has "1.2" volt. If i use 1.2 volt rechargeable Battery in i rig pro duo then Would it be wasted or damage? any suggestion please. sorry for my bad English.
@@DebErney thanks for your reply Deb Erney. yes it works fine. i rig pro duo support "1.2 volt" HR6 rechargeable battery because all HR6 rechargeable battery is 1.2 volt and all LR6 alkaline battery is 1.5 volt. thanks again for your reply.
thanks for sharing a real review! i spent hours watching people talk about features on paper yet none tested latency etc

Thank you for the advice, you are goin to laugh but all I needed was a fresh pair of batteries, or to use the irig charger, so the problem was power.
Excellent Demo . Thank you Deb Erney .
You are so welcome. Thanx for watching.

2:30 thats definitely a B stock unit!
Thanks
Thanks for demonstration. Did it work fine with no latency on type-c iPad Pro?
No latency at all on my old iPad Pro 2 nd generation.
I really enjoyed singing.
When two instruments are plugged in the iRig, does it record on one track or two separate tracks in Garageband?
It gives the option of 2 tracks or 1 stereo track.

@@DebErney thanks I appreciate your feedback👍
how do you use it with streaming karaoke with headset and mic? having issues to get it to work
Best would be to use a mixer then run the mixer outputs to the irig.
How did you record this review?is also plugged into the interface?
I usually record from the earphones out from device.. looks Like I have the headphone out from iPad to my camera
Thanks very much 🙂

I agree 100%. If something is 1/2 off I go for it. Otherwise I'm shopping at Sweetwater.com

Hi..can you monitor the sound directly out of the ipad speakers ? or is not possible ( or have run irig line out to speakers or amplifiers?)
RyandramandiA Story you can but it causes horrible feedback.
Use earbuds
Deb Erney ok thanks for the reply.. one more question.. can you listen to the sound of the guitar and the vocals together in one earbuds?
You’d have to try it and see. If you had the stereo set to center you should.
Hi dear great job!
How can I record with vocal live/I recorder3 using a backing track already inside my iPhone 6s?
Please sudgest me how to!
Take the earbud output from iPhone and run it into one of the inputs of your recorder using an adapter like this amzn.to/2CH05DA
How can I use this with my Huawei P20 Pro cellphone?? I just bought this today but realised the cables won't fit in my phone 😣😣😣
I use apple products for this reason. APPLE ALWAYS JUST WORKS.
@@DebErney I ordered the USB-C to Mini- DIN cable from the company i'm waiting for it to come in the mail 👍🏼
So no driver is required to be downloaded?
If drivers aren't needed I don't show the installation of them.
Oh dah I found it
Is bad Latency?
Not bad but there is definitely some. More with more tracks.
Did she say thunderbolt? Lol it’s a lightning connector
Erick my bad. Meant lightening.
Yeah it's fine. Not trying to be mean or anything : )
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
