    We have iRig Recorder for Android (Android OS 4.1+) but we would watch the Android platform and when the proper low-latency audio support is there for apps like this we will likely move to bring them to Android. Thanks!

    Any time! We're fans too, we don't just make the tools we use them and we LOVE to see great music made with these tools.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    It works with any audio input. You can use an XLR mic with a proper interface such as iRig PRO or iRig PRE for example.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    There is a full version, as well as having items available via in-app purchase. Check out the Store in the Menu in the app! :)

  • @ikmultimedia

    Thank you! Reverb is definitely a matter of personal taste but I always think "less is more" - dial in as much as you think sounds good then take it back at least 30% and I think you'll be happy. Please try the presets and you'll get some very well-tested examples. I like using the doubler myself, but in a VERY subtle way.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  12 лет назад

    Yes, and there is even a multitrack recorder available via in-app purchase too.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    As long as your other app supports paste you can copy from VocaLive into other apps. You could also export and then import into some apps if they do not, depending on what formats they support.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад +1

    Copy will put it on the audio clipboard (so you can paste into another track or another app like AmpliTube, etc) and clone will make another version of the project in the Project List.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  12 лет назад

    You can use iRig Mic and VocaLive or AmpliTube for live performance but you would use backing tracks, it does not include FX to do long phrase loops (though again you can load in backing tracks to play/sing with)

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  12 лет назад

    Yes you can, you can check the link in the description for full information on export and all the great features of VocaLive

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  13 лет назад

    @VlastaStevanovich Yes, go to the IK Site and in the VocaLive section there are audio demos one of which is it used in front of an electric guitar amp.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    You can tap the button on the FX themselves in the FX section (the buttons light blue when on) or click the name of each effect and choose "Empty"

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    Yes you can send the output of iRIg Mic to a PA system. You'd want to use 1/8" stereo to dual 1/4" mono

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  13 лет назад

    @imaginarytube Must be the RUclips compression, you can check it out for yourself when the app comes out but this is high-quality like AmpliTube

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    Yes it is Core Audio compliant. Audiobus is not implemented in VocaLive at this time. If you have problems with your digital audio device with either VocaLive or AmpliTube you can get direct support from our Tech Support staff. The VocaLive FX in AmpliTube can only be used one at a time, though, so bear that in mind if you are going to go with that method. Support can also guide you more in that way.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  12 лет назад

    You can but you probably won't have to. The design of the mic head will help attenuate plosives and such.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    All of the FX are listed on the site in the description... You may be able to combine some of them to get the sound you want... Thanks for the suggestion!

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    1. You click the symbol next to the recording name (looks like 4 lines) and then there is a delete button that deletes the highlighted/chosen recording.
    2. You can sent the iRig Mic output to any number of devices, including a mixer with the proper cabling.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    VocaLive supports other interfaces too. Any that are using Camera Connection Kit are definitely a question but if it works with other apps it should work with VocaLive

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  12 лет назад

    You plug in the mic, then either headphones or powered speakers, etc into the output. As long as you are using an app to capture the sound, you should be all set. If you don't have this experience you should contact support and they will help you out.

  • @ikmultimedia

  • @ikmultimedia

  • @ikmultimedia

    You can use a cable that goes from 1/8" stereo do dual mono connections for your mixer (or stereo 1/8" or 1/8" etc if your mixer accepts those - like iRig MIx does). We will have great cables in our newly-announced iLine cable connection kit coming soon too.

    Yes it is connected via Camera Connection kit (has USB and SD slot - bought it on Ebay for $5) and it connects the Lexicon gear without an issue so far. Inputs/Outputs on the Lexicon responds to iPad apps like Garageband.
    I'll try it with the free version first. If it works with my Lexicon gear, I'm sold.

    @jacquesjunk the Envelope Filter is an effect that is common on funk bass lines and synth sounds. On voice it can definitely be an extreme effect and very cool

    The app is VocaLive and has iPhone and iPad versions available.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  13 лет назад

    @VlastaStevanovich It comes with VocaLive free and can be used with AmpliTube Free. You need iRig for guitar as this doesn't have a 1/4" input it is the mic and cable together that plugs into your device. Plugging both in at the same time wouldn't work due to the nature of the input jack and processing the two discrete channels with all FX, etc would be very taxing on the device

  • @ikmultimedia

    We've posted elsewhere that Android OS still has an issue with low-latency audio which makes the creation of quality audio apps on that platform a no-go at this time. Though our accessories work on many of those devices, our apps would not be usable with the latency in the audio layer of the OS.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    There are multiple export options for the audio. Not directly into iMovie but you can export then import into it...

    While our devices work on many Android devices, the latency on Android OS is still an issue which precludes us from making our apps since the latency would be unacceptable for an app like VocaLive or AmpliTube.

    after recording your instrumental part and before your vocal part, try adjusting the input level at the setup menu. As they say, IK multimedia support is very helpful, Im sure theyll fix it no time.

  • @ikmultimedia
    @ikmultimedia  11 лет назад

    Because you are mistaking the APP latency (obviously you were not using VocaLive) and the hardware latency. iRig MIC will not cause latency and VocaLive is ultra low to the point you will not notice. Stick with IK apps, you will have a great time, with ultra-low latency.

    The apps will not be an option until Android OS can provide the necessary low latency audio. This is a very known issue and unfortunately there hasn't been progress on the OS side to resolve it. We cannot create our great music apps for Android OS until this issue is resolved. It is out of our control.
    The mic should work with many/most/all of the devices that accept a standard 4-pole connector. We've used iRig Mic with Android devices with success.
