Thank You So Much for Posting This- i had bought the iRig2 but everything was MONO & I want STEREO but had heard that iOs didnt post to IG in Stereo- only Mono. So i thought i had to buy an Android phone just to post in Stereo Quality… im glad that i can just get this or the Duo and upload my beats from my MPC 2000XL

Yahn, great video man. Question. So if using my phone I plug in the cable that goes into my iphone and records into the app from there but if using the stereo out inputs how am I getting a stereo sound for my videos? You mentioned you plug the 8th inch into your headphone amp. Are you then taking the audio from the amp and using it for the videos? Just looking for clarification, thanks

Thanks for the video, I think you mentioned this towards the end of the video. Was it plug and play? I bought a very basic model Irig and it only seems to work with Amplitude with my iPhone 13.

Are you coming out of the mixer from the Headphone Jack or an output?
I use a Mackie PROFX12V3. Should I come out the Main output? Or Headphone Jack?

This video is great! But I DO have a technical question that maybe you could answer. I sing, and I use my Stream to do covers, as well as....well, STREAM, lol. With the covers, though, I've had trouble figuring out exactly how to get music from my laptop, through my mixer and to the irig. The sound is never exactly where I need it. Have you had any experience with that? Thanks, in advance!

Awesome Video! I got the iRig stream and I need to create Instagram Reels in Stereo via the Instagram app on an iPhone but after trying many times with different cords etc. I am only getting a mono signal recorded to the reel with the iRig Stream. The same this happens when doing a remix on instagram in the app, recorded in mono. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong? How do I get stereo when using the Instagram app for Reels or Remixing?

So... I want to record clean audio when I record a video from my Akai Force into my iphone. Right now I am just placing the phone in the room and capturing the sound from my monitor speakers but the audio isn't great. Would this be the device I need? It allows to record audio while recording video into an iphone?
Aah, you’re going to make me upgrade bro 🤦🏾♂️ . However, I agree on the cons. I had an old iRig duo that ran by battery, which sucks, and then now the irig 2, which is straight down the middle like you described.
Questions, does this one run by battery? If so, it’s an automatic no for me lol. Then, can I still receive a wide stereo sound coming out just one aux send/mix on a mixer or does the output have to be a L/R output?

Yo yo! Depends on which platform.. PreSonus all day for streaming via your laptop/desktop. If you wanna stream from your phone or ipad then def the iRig

It would be better to stream on RUclips from your computer using OBS or Stream Yard.

No problem! You’d want to switch to mono for streaming live on Instagram from your phone. If you’re just posting content then you can switch it back to stereo

I haven’t tried those platforms yet using my phone. I use OBS on my desktop to stream in stereo to Facebook and RUclips.

You mention social media platforms being compatible with stereo audio. Why did you suggest turning "mono" on for streaming if you have the stereo option available?
Right now you can't stream to Instagram in stereo.

No what you bought is a pre-amp. You can purchase the iRig 2 or the iRig stream.

I believe so. You just have to make sure that you go live from you phone.

Depends on what ports you need. Duo has more options in the grand scheme of connections.

Depends on which platform. I'd definitely use this to livestream on Instagram and TikTok.

This is more so the ideal setup for posting content on social media with clean audio. You'll still need an interface or mixer of some sort to route the audio to the iRig.
This was a good video, however I play the keys and when I record with my canon m50 I'm not getting a good mix of the keys, vocals or drums. Any recommendations? I'm trying to get something like this. ruclips.net/video/53YemMWCqlE/видео.html
Looks like he customized his mix from his in ear monitor or the front of house. That’s all dependent on the churches sound system.
The video in the link involves some post production.
I guess he recorded the audio feed from his IEM System or provably got the mix from the audio unit of the church. Then merged plugged in audio with video he recorded. That wasn't streamed live.
I will advice you do same.
