I never go live, just recordings. Worth the $200 compared to the iRig2?

100% worth it because you can set your gain level with the irig duo pro, and it’s in stereo compared to the mono audio you get from irig 2
It also depends on how frequently you play and how much you use it

I'd say worth it because it doubles as a full audio interface

Will you still get the gain of +1 issue coming straight outa the balanced L + R monitor outputs from a preamp like a Scarlett 2i2, into the iRig Pro Duo? I’ve been looking for something that will work for live-streaming from my iMac + Logic Pro DAW audio into my iPhone for months now. The new iOS update won’t allow me to use my old setup because it involves adapters that iOS no longer supports.

Your video is what gave me hope that the iRig Pro is still compatible with iOS 17, as most videos for the iRig Pro are over a year old.

@@ClayColeyMusic i've never livestreamed from both my mac and phone at the same time, I'm sure you can make it work, I just don't know what your setup us.

@@Theryanprim it’s not live-streaming from my Mac and iPhone at the same time. It’s using a Logic Pro acoustic session template on my Mac for the source for my audio and then running that audio out of the back of my Scarlett 2i2 preamp into the iRig Pro then to my iPhone.

Does this setup work for a non live recording setup? Like if i just wanted to record and get clips off of it?

Of course! I’ve got an entire video on how I do that too! “Record your in-ear mix in Stereo”
