The clarity on the videos is banging! I’m currently running an output from the headphone port on my interface, split input inti the channels so I can get a stereo signal on the iOS recordings. How you using yours?
If you have the iRig it’ll make it even more portable. You’ll only need a battery to power the iRig and record into the iPad. I’m yet to try with my iPad mini 6th gen but if I wanted to I definitely could
You’ll need to elaborate on that one… I use mine for predominately recording vids on my iPhone phone with DAW quality audio. I run the headphone output from my interface through a splitter into both channel inputs on the irig to get a stereo signal.
I got a Duo for same reason but its proving useless as the inputs are preset Left and right, ...so you cant make both inputs mono...hence you ended up with music in the left channel only....if you want say guitar and mic in both channel it cant be done....also the Irig App is rubbish...Ill be selling mine soon
I know, deffo should’ve done my research and maybe looked into the Stream. I’ve defaulted to connecting the headphone output of my interface or the output of my Maschine+ through a stereo cable into inputs one and two to get a stereo signal on recordings. Where it may come in handy is tracking Maschine+ beats and recording vox into GarageBand on the iPad via mono
Getting an iPad Pro, and got focusrite for xlr mic. Is this better option for on the go record? I basically live out of my luggage and in hotel rooms lol
Yea you’ll be good for recording with it through the usb-c / iPadOS compatible interface. GarageBand is free so no extra purchases on the software front too
I’m a newbie, I guess my question is.. with the irig i dont need to carry my focusrite? They are two different audio interfaces. Not to be used with together it’s one or the other correct?
9:46 is the audio from the irig. When connected to the phone and camera app is opened, irig becomes the default sound source. It’s a demonstration of having a clean signal
Thanks. Keep them vids coming. Subscribed.
Thank you 🙏🏿
Your commentary is superb bro 🤣🔥
Thank you 🙏🏿 it’s long to code switch
I got one its superb

Does this irig removes the need for my audio interface? Just to rap some vocals with xlr mic?

Only here for the narration! Too funny! 🤣
Sometimes it be like that! 🤣 genuinely pleased with this gift, all my reels have proper sound
But you can’t for example play your beat from your computer and use the microphone at the same time. At least I’ve tried it numerous ways and no luck.
