Fin Mosehornugle, jeg har selv set Mosehornugler nogle gange dette forår. Mosehorn (Short-eared Qwl) er nomader og kan yngle helt forskellige steder fra år til år, afhængigt af hvor der er godt med føde.
Looks like a Berguv/Eagle owl (Bubo bubo)? Beautiful bird😊
YOU ARE CORRECT WE LOVE SEEING YOU DO THESE THINGS AND WE UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE A LIFE ,BUT SOME TIME ON WHAT WE LIKE HEHEHEHEHE
@@coconutfleetsleeper5717 It is a Short-eared Owl, A Bubo is much larger !
I appreciate Lars so much. He's a great man with so much legitimate knowledge.
Everyone watches because of the blah blah blahing..
Literally, I watch his videos FOR the blah blah blah-ing. Nevermind all the other cool stuff and such😂
@@ChrisWilliam08 There's nothing cool about him, he's a cockwash.
Lars good info.
I'm always jealous of the natural beauty of the forest there. Minus the clouds of mosquitos.
This series is an excellent idea - and I already learned two important tricks - 1st was the parchment and 2nd was making those little clothes pins. Very neat. This will be a superb series, Lars. Thank you!
Excited for this series! Even for us long time viewers, it will be interesting to see how your views have changed from some of those earlier videos.
Now that's a beautiful back yard!
This is a fine start to a new series! This is what Survival Russia was built on. Your remarks on watching several independent weather channels strike home this week. Even so, Survival-inducing weather can develop and change direction quickly. I have family who live in Cypress, TX USA. A high-wind event took down many power transmission lines and has left them (and 1 million other Houston area residents) without electrical service for the past several days (and into the future.) My family is supplied with emergency food and water (Survival begins at home. The best place to survive is at home where you have the most of everything that you are likely to get for 'the duration'.) They have power for their satellite phones, so far.
ReDoing the basics is always a pleasure. Always learn something new. Tks Lars!
Lars, you, your family and the "rest". Thank you all for the time and effort spent entertaining and educating us over the years. I wish you many more. Dankie baie, van uit Kaap Stad.
Cheers from Edmonton Alberta Canada.
I love that blanket of green view from the drone of your area. I've enjoyed seeing you and your family growing these many years and it's cool to just be able to see what you're doing on the other side of the planet.
Thanks buddy)))
I'm excited about this series, too! Waiting for more videos!
The parchment trick is worth the upload...brilliant.
Thank you Lars. Will follow you on this journey. 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Sounds like a great series!
Awesome Lars and CREW as usual, super encouraged, thanks Mahalo Brother,🤙🙏🙏
Awesome your world looks awesome, just green forest, basic skills like comonsense, awesomeness van die kaap, waiting for the next upload 🎉
People often forget how HUGE Owls can get.
greetings from Austria !
great start
Thank you Lars we all need refreshers from time to time.
Yo man thanking you and keep it up... Will be staying tuned.
Good to see you back in the forest Lars. I look forward to the series.
thanks
Thanks Lars, your wisdom has been invaluable to me over the years. Great shot of the owl. Looking forward to more 😊
Hälsningar från en myggig by i Sverige🌲
Magnetic compass is affected by iron and steel, power lines , vehicles, wire fences, buried ww2 junk etc, even stuff in your kit, always move around when taking bearings if they look weird.
I relied on the compass to control support fire, a mistake could cost lives of your own or innocent others. I am sure Lars will cover these points in the series. He is well qualified to do so.....
Nice cant wait to get stuck in to this.
Hi, I'm watching your video now 👍👋
Thanks Lars, enjoy your stuff a bunch. Joe in Maine
Back to the basics🙂👍👍
Very fortunate to have the forest Lars. Good series!
Super super awesome 👍🏻😃
Nice tips Lars! I like this idea as a series.
Good video Lars , nice to visit again always a pleasure, thanks for sharing YAH bless brother !

Looking forest to the series!
Nice tip on the parchment paper
What you are doing is outstanding. Thank You, i have learned many things ❤
Great Video!! You are definitely in your element!! Thanks from Michigan, USA
Love your videos my friend and so jealous of your property. Stay safe and thanks for sharing. Cheers from Alberta!
That owl was AWESOME!I thought they were nocturnal.
I love the Blah-Blahing.., I do it too. I think it is great you are starting a basic series.
To be honest, I like all your content. This channel is awesome
I appreciate that!
Excellent idea! Thanks! Fantastic stuff as always!!!!
Hey Lars what a great idea! To start such a series will help not only beginners but also the guys who are involved in the outdoors forca long time. Thank you for your helpful advises and all the best from Austria 🇦🇹🤠👍🏕️🔥
Brilliant start to a series we all never knew we needed.
Keep it up! :D
really like the baking parchment. great tip. thanks for sharing
I can't believe it's been 10 days since you posted this. You could do a fun offshoot and go to a tropical climate like Florida USA and do survival on the beach.
If you are carrying a compass and a map, make sure that magnetic declination is adjusted on the compass according to the data on the map, otherwise, the bearing may be erronneous. If your are going to an unknown site, gets its location first from a map. I like using compass and map, no batteries are necessary.
Excellent thank you Lars
This is great. I enjoy your reality of survival playlists. Lots of good useful info there!
Awesome!
Hey Lars! Excellent series. That's a very famous knife!! heheheh
It is! You are in the know I see)))
Yeah good idea, I love your overnight survival videos
well done, brother!
Thank you! Cheers!
I really enjoy you and your videos. Very interesting & informative.
Beautiful area, too. I like your accent.
Thanks for sharing...
Great! Thanks
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A beautiful forest with owl in the tree, thanks for sharing, have a good day exploring the free wild nature. God bless your family pawshake for bear dog guarding home.🐕
I really like seeing the landscape of where you are living. I like to compare it to where I live here in the States. You are certainly a far cry from Denmark. So go ahead and publish anything you like. I don't care if it is survival or building your many sided house. I like watching everything you show us. I look forward to the time when the fighting stops with the Ukraine. Then we can go back to supporting your channel the way we used to without any restrictions.
Like it. You have a wealth of knowledge & we can all learn something !
Love the owl intro I actually heard a owl hooting last night and our woods.
Love your vids !
Thank you very much!
Awesome to have a series 👏 of survival & bushcraft videos 📹 to help many starting out.!!
Thanks 👍
GREAT VID THANK YOU!!!
You can draw it on paper, and if you have the materials or a store that can do it for you, have it laminated. That way it won't tear, and if the laminate is still sealed, it will be water proof/resistant. Folder sized paper is best, but if your map covers a big area, you can make the map by sections on multiple papers (laminated), and lay it out on the ground if you need it.
Had to resubscribe today guys, not awesome RUclips.
Finally back to the woods!
You mean plan your special operation for a 3 day trip.
That turns into 2 years.
Your funny Lars.
The blah blah is why we watch
Lars! It's super awesome!
Looking forward to this series. Love the idea of starting from the very basics; always something to learn! Please don't be hesitant to "blah-blah-blah"; your explanation and demonstration and philosophy of use is a huge reason many watch.
That parchment is a nice trick! PNW crew take notice.
Good Lars 👍🏻
The silver birch you were sat in front of could be a whole video on its own, excellent tinder for lighting fire, tap in early spring for its sap which is a great tonic, great carving wood, in Ireland we call it lady of the forest because of its perfume smell before the rain comes.
Your blah blah blah and tra la la are just fine, hell it's why I started watching! 🤣🤣🤣 Anyone who has survived in Russia for any number of years is someone to listen to. But good lord that is some flat country! Holy crap, trees to the horizon in every direction. Like a reverse-desert, no contour lines on the map to help you out!
Damn Lars, this is a Deja vu live when you started your channel with the pink troll in a backpack. There will be tons more really excellent content.Thanks.
Great idea, I am looking forward to the new series. It’s good to revisit the basics, if you don’t use it you can lose it.
Excellent video.
We once lost our bearings in the Australian bush late afternoon.
We started to doubt our electronic compass so used the setting sun to confirm north.
Knowing there was a road to the north, we slowly made our way to it in the dark with a head torch
Eventually we found the road and backtracked to base.
(We've added. A couple of button compasses to our kit since )
I’m surprised you left the parchment paper hanging. You could have taken it home and your wife could have used it to bake brownies - now that’s real survival.🤣😸🙏
Very good stuff
Hi Lars, I’ve watched your videos for years. I often wondered if you listen to music? What’s your favorite music? Thank you for what you do!
Nice backpack. I love mine too
Great idea for a series Lars,
I hope you label the episodes like : Intro, Episode 1, Episode 2 etc. For dummies like me to help not be os confused and lost (like in that vast forest) for future views and re referencing your material.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I look forward to trying out these ideas you share.
Great tip
Its Yoll! Lol ))) The famous owl from youtube :)
Very good idea with that paper. I have some old maps on silk from wwii and the 50's. They are in my bugout bag. Modern features are missing but rivers and old roads are still there.
Always check the weather!
Hi Lars, nice to see you out enjoying nature's beauty. Yes people normally rely on one compass which could be off by a few degrees so having a second compass to check bearings and direction should be common sense knowledge. All the best to you and your family mate.
Thanks 👍
Cool stuff ❤
From your much earlier videos, I hope you will go over again:
1. "Your brain is your most important survival tool."
2. "If you fell out of the sky into a wilderness or unfamiliar surroundings, what would you do/how would you survive?"
3. "Do not get caught or go out without your gear, even in seemingly safe scenarios."
👍
Greetings from Germany Lars. Nice Video as usual. Cant wait to See the whole series. Much awesomer then Most Other Outdoor RUclipsrs.
Vor allem authentisch, ist halt echte Wildnis dort
Great parchment paper map.
Parchment paper is also great for cooking you can actually cook an egg over a small fire and a parchment bag.
I'm very excited for this new series of videos. This one already had a ton of great info.
Ps. I actually had an experience this past winter where I got turned around. I had fallen in white water rapids. 18°F. Dusk. Temp dropping. Had to find a spot to set up quickly. Set down my pack. Looked for a spot. Could not find my pack again... i saw my problems compounding. So I had to sit down. Calm down. Look around. And try to think clearly. But as you say. It's not a plesant experience.
u r SUPER AWESOME!!
The silver Birch tree could be a whole video on its own considering it's many uses.
Good stuff, I've always wanted Your perspective on how to get on in the wild Lars.
