Yeah I knew this album was going to be something unique and powerful, but I didn't expect it to be as emotional as it is! Its ridiculously heartfelt and pure. The record as a whole really does capture what the band stands for and has proven that their sound is very very original & sincere, which is difficult to achieve in music these days. Theres no denying that Lucas went all out on this record. Lyrically, his words are super deep and really poetic. Its wholeheartedly written as lyrics and music should be, but that vibe is just so noticeable on every track, and I personally only get that feeling from a select few of artists out there that I follow. But how Lucas shines the most on this album to me is by the sheer rawness of his voice with every word sung/screamed, and the control of it, as well as the beauty & gentleness thats portrayed when singing the slower, softer parts of some of the tracks. "Holding Absence" - self titled LP - is considered a masterpiece I think. Truly an amazing piece of art! Congratulations guys!

When you got friends and other people to contribute it really would help me confidently upload stuff and positively change my outlook possibly. doing open mics and doing covers isn't my thing when I got endless papers of lyrics and endless riffs but its hard to catch lightning in a bottle let alone ride it.
As much as I love the album... I can’t help but wonder what this could have sounded like had the original guitarist from ‘Permanent’ stuck around. As amazing as every song is, ‘Permanent’ remains the most powerful thing they’ve ever written in my opinion.
