How exciting that things are going so well for you! My recent NSV is that my mobility has increased. As I've gotten older and more out-of-shape walking places got to be less and less appealing and more difficult. I've increased my walking up to 12 mins per day and do step-ups and strength training for 10 mins per day, six days a week. It makes me feel good about myself for the first time in many years. I will continue to increase the walking and all a little every week until I'm exercising and walking for at least 30 mins, six days per week. Thanks for being a ray of sunshine. Keep on keepin' on. You've got this.
That’s awesome! Yes, continue to build on to what you did the day before and listen to your body. You’re doing great also!! Thanks for the support! 🥰
Congratulations on your success. I have tried coconut oil ( just a 1/2 tsp ) in my cooking and it helps with the constipation. I also have used coconut water in my smoothies... it has REALLY helped. I am on 5mg ( wk 1 ) - 16 lbs down.
Wow!!! Congratulations!!!! This is awesome!!! Thanks for the tip!❤️❤️❤️

Hello, Patrice. Thank you for sharing your journey and congrats! I started Mounjaro 2.5mg on 1/3 and the 5.0 on 1/29. Losing weight and feeling better. I am working on getting more consistent with exercising as well. It really makes a difference.

what additional diabetes drugs are you taking with Mounjaro?..I am loving your videos...please keep up the good work as it seems to be working for you...and you are a great inspiration for all your fans just starting the Moujaro journey!!!...
Hello!! So happy to have you here!❤️❤️ Previously I was on Farxiga and Metformin, as well as Ozempic, but when moving to Mounjaro, I am not on any other medication for diabetes. So just Mounjaro the whole time. I pray much success over your journey!!❤️❤️
Great job on your journey. What's your regimen to avoid constipation?
So I continue to have constipation throughout my journey, but I do use Miralax, Metamucil, and stool softener pills about 1-2 times a week. I was using it about 3 times a week in the beginning, but now I do it when I notice that I need a good clean out 😩 but I also drink a gallon of water a day (most days) and I have used prunes too to help.
@@ThePatriceDenise thank you so much! This is so helpful! lThis is the only side effect I've experienced and it didn't happen until the 4th week on 5mg. 😔
Hopefully you can get some relief. And much success in your journey!! If you find something that helps you, please let us know! Thanks
Ive got 5 mg my dr gave me to start out.. im worried how that will affect me i haven't started it. It seems everyone is getting 2.5 starting out . Im wondering why i got 5 to start.. 😮😬 nervous
Hey. Definitely reach back out to your provider for a better understanding to why they started you there, but 2.5mg is the starting dose - from the Mounjaro website - The 2.5-mg dose is for treatment initiation and is not intended for glycemic control. So maybe they gave the 5.0mg if they are targeting your blood sugars. But definitely ask them for more information. ❤️❤️
I was prescribed 5mg from the start and I am type 2 diabetic with an A1C of 6.5 down from 8.2.on Metformin. I just got my injections on Friday and haven't started taking them yet.
How is your diet
Hey!! So I don’t follow a certain diet, but I am trying to get in more protein and whole foods at this point in my journey.
Mounjoro gives me nauseau and makes my musles and seems bone hurt it's horrible!
Oh no!! So sorry you experienced that.
How come you lost so much more on the smaller dose?
Great question. I think it had a lot to do with losing water weight and inflammation going down initially, but not really 100% sure.
I've added some sit ups in my exercise morning and evening I got one more shot left of mounjaro 2.5 on Wednesday than I start mounjaro 5mg shots
Adding sit-ups will be so beneficial! I need to do more strength exercises too. Let us know how 5mg works for you!
I will do that the only side effects I've got on mounjaro 2.5 is headaches dry mouth and cold and sleepy I think Wednesday I'm going to take mine in the evening before bedtime because I get sleepy around 12 I'm hoping where I've added so sit ups it did some changes in my weight I'll keep you updated on it
I will let you know when I start the mounjaro 5mg does for me when I start it I start mounjaro 5mg February 8th I heard it's stronger than 2.5
I do my injections in the evening as well because of that.
I lost 15lbs in 2 months no side effects.
Congratulations on your loss this far!! Much success as you continue on your journey!!❤️❤️❤️
@@ThePatriceDenise Thank you so much went for my refill today and they said it’s on back order. I’m so disappointed I hope I get it next week.
@bizziselln oh no! Hopefully they’ll get some in soon. I hope these shortages are over soon. 🤞🏾
@@ThePatriceDenise I got it yesterday my Endo increased the strength. I feel fine I didn’t feel to eat all day but I ate.
@bizziselln yay!! So glad you got it. Yes, definitely make sure you eat and get nutrients in! Much love!!❤️
Not feeling any difference at all....this the 1st week. On 2.5
Hey. Hopefully as time continues, it’ll change. Much success to you on your journey!!
