If you listen carefully to GA songs you can hear Nicola in most of the harmonies and choruses. Her vocals really brought the songs to life. Unfortunately, she didn't get the equal solo parts she deserved. She was always my favourite, right from "River Deep Mountain High" in PSTR.

For me her voice is something that I could drink from all day, and I think that if she hadn't been in a girl band initially, people would be raving about her, but because she was in girl band I think there's a bias, especially in these more heartfelt performances that are her forte. I wish she released an album a year, because I would just buy every single one and listen on repeat because she truly has one of the most beautiful and unique voices I've ever heard.

Loving the series ❤️ Nicola is such an icon, I've seen her in boisdale on canary wharf last month and oh boy is she fantastic! She's also so sweet and she told me she's 2/3 done with writing for her new album now that they're done with Cheryl's one!
I remember watching the tv show when the group was formed and Nicola was by far the best singer. The judges gave her the hardest time though and as a teenager I quickly realized why. Because she wasn't as conventionally 'pretty' as the other girls. She had red hair and pale skin. She had to work twice as hard as the likes of Cheryl and Nadine... don't get me started on Sarah. This upset me quite a lot at the time and put me off pursuing my own singing career as I thought I wouldn't be pretty enough although I knew I had a great voice.
OH WOW! Nicola has always been my favourite. Lovely person. Completely down to earth and humble. I too love her solo album. Sticks and Stones is probably my favourite track on that along with Gladiator. This however! Oh it's amazing. I always felt she was underutilised in the band and the personalities in the band eclipsed her. I expect great things from album number two and correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't she written for Little Mix and some other girl groups in the interim?

She has a similar developing path throughout the career as Jesy from Little Mix: starts as the most insecure who is called ugly and turns out to blossom right in front of our eyes showing growth in their self love and reflecting it mesmerizing talent. And for the last 4 days I've watched the ' Honest Vocal Coach ' looking at it, she was absolutely blown away, and thought it was BRILLIANT, and so do I. Fantastic..

The fact she can sing like this whilst Cheryl has been riding the charts is an utter joke. Her album was really good too and not just fillers like Cheryl - Porcelain Heart was a great song!
