- I get it. Hung Jury. Out of all the weapons to bring back, why this one? I don't have that answer, but I see why they did. An iconic weapon that still has a lot of power in the current game. We have a lot of new and returning players coming in and this is a GREAT weapon for them. YOu want this if you are new or being reacquainted. As far as you destiny veterans, as these drop ( and they will be dropping), take a look at it. There is a specific combo that you are looking for.

I understand the veterans didn't want anything to do with Hung Jury. I get it, but also pay attention to what was added on it. There is a good weapon here and to new players, you want this. I think most of the veterans here will agree to that. It can help you in content.
Im happy it’s back. I got bad rolls back in the day for it in d2 so being able to get a good roll much easier is really nice

Im curious to see how Kinetic Tremors and explosive payload work in PVP. It says KT is after 6 shots. But if EP splits those shots, would KT prock after 3 EP shots? Curious what you think about that.

I got kinetic tremors and firefly and it’s really good for everything. Red bars or a chunky boss. I love it.

@@corygraph firefly is fun to use in PVP the amount of times i've killed someone firefly procs and someone close to them gets hit by firefly and makes for faster clean-up

I’ll definitely be on the look out for this roll. Kinetic Tremors is one of my favorite new perks. Glad they’re starting to add more perks that reward sustained damage.
With that said I still wish they brought back Oxygen instead of this. My favorite pinnacle weapon which I know is an unpopular opinion but at least it’s not Hung Jury again. Would’ve been cool since maybe they would’ve brought back Meganeura with it and made it have some interaction with scorch!
Facts!
Oxygen or no feelings since also was a “black armory style” weapon and introduced box breathing to scouts. I brought oxygen out a few weeks ago to use it with radiant and it’ll 3 tap a .67 if you land your headshots. Got a handful of secondary kills from Meganeura.
Maybe Meganeura could work like an elemental dragonfly? Make it require crits as an excuse to BEEF up the perks potency.

At this point for regular players, Hung Jury has really outstayed its welcome.
If they really wanted to reprise a popular Kinetic scout rifle, I think Night Watch might have been a better pick, especially since even new players are given this when they get started. Would have been a nice opportunity to give it that top shelf treatment.
That or Patron of Lost Causes, one of the bangers from season 9. I know neither of them are in the same archetype but...who cares? Give Hung Jury a rest please?
I was hoping for a deep cut and them getting Garden Prodigy 1 to come back. Was my go to scout y1 of d2. That whole set should've came back at some point imo.

Kinetic Tremors + Explosive Payload is the PvE nuts on a scout rifle IMO.
Does it proc on 3 hits?
@JonathanGarcia-nr9yj I hear that it does not, unfortunately. That would be bonkers if it did, lol. But remember that these guns will be enhanceable, so Kinetic Tremors will proc in 5 hits once enhanced.

Got one with KT and EP yesterday. KT triggers in 6 hits if I counted correctly and creates 3 tremors. It really puts in work at longer distances, but I don't think it will replace my KT/EP Midnight Coup for that slot.

i got a Rewind/Payload roll and it work just like i thought. aim, hold trigger, and never let go until something dies. its my No Time To Explain without precision shots and is legendary.

No Time to Explain is a Pulse…not a Scout.
@@Stodds13 No shit. The point was that it acts very similar as far as ammo refunding goes and doesn't eat an exotic slot. Everyone is very aware that it's a pulse rifle.
Transfiguration has that same god roll, they’re my favorite for just chipping

I got kinetic tremors, rapid hit and firefly, bow breathing. I love box breathing and I got a great pve roll too.

@@MoonFanatic honestly I have operated under the assumption that kinetic tremor damage cannot be boosted just bc bungie moment but I've also never seen it tested so idk. In the video coolguy mentions it does so seems like I just needed to watch more before commenting lol

A perk combo that I'm curious in as a Divinity Enjoyer is Kinetic Tremors and Cascade Point because realistically, you should always be able to proc that combo when stunning a champion. I wonder how often KT will proc when Cascade Point goes BRRRR
Youll get it to proc faster but it wont proc more.
It still should have been Oxygen SR3

I have an Adept Shoot to Loot + Tremors v3 HJ. I just got an Enlightened Action + Desperate Measures v4 that I am very curious to try out.
Hung Jury and Taraxippos are very similar. I like the explosive payload in both for PvP because it will push people back from peeking around a corner. I think Jury has more range and I like the new version. Thanks for your videos!
I got two good rolls last night. Rapid hit/box breathing, one no distractions/box breathing.
I'm happy with this cause I haven't stepped into a nightfall in a long time.
Glad to see you showing some love to this despite all the complaints people have had. As a D1 Jury main, I’ve told friends “THIS is the first time we’ve actually gotten Hung Jury back. We got a really good Omolon scout that had Firefly, but Bungie didn’t let it go off ‘till now. And D1 Jury WENT OFF.”
However you feel about it... This is like the 4th time (in D2 alone) that we got this weapon. They should've brought back No Feelings over this
Hung Jury is my favorite and most used primary in D1, and having it re-issued 4 times makes me sick of it tbh.

I got Kinetic Tremors with Precision Instrument and it was dealing substantially more damage than my adept version kinetic/shoot to loot with a big one spec. I was super surprised.

Rapid Hit/Explosive Payload was always my godroll. Had so much fun with it in GM's back when it came out

@Coolguy I was just playing with an Explosive Payload/Rewind Rounds and the entire mag reloaded off of Explosive payload for me. MULTIPLE TIMES. Id try out some testing on this roll specifically

Honorable mention, rewind rounds and ep is infinite ammo. Ep adds to rewind I found so you will get a full mag back if all your shots land.
Coolguy, please review Recluse with Repulsor Brace and Desperate measures/master of arms. Turns void builds into monsters in pve and pvp. Briarbinds plus Repulsor Brace recluse was the easiest 7th column I've ever had.
I was really hoping that explosive payload would proc kinetic tremors in less hits. Usually payload perks count as 2 hits for hit based perks. Payload perks will active Tex Mechanica origin trait in half the hits. Stun overload champions easier.
Not on the topic but there is a weapon people are overlooking when making videos. Retraced Path… an old trace rifle that for all that matters there is nothing else to say after releasing their craft version. But turns out there is things to say - Bungie brought back the OG perks like Shoot to Loot, making not just viable but the best trace in the game. Incandescent can clean an entire room of ads, even more on this season, and Shoot to Loot let you reload all your weapons without leaving a well. Perfect to pair with Apex during DPS phases since Rockets tend to finish their loads before the end of a dps phase.

Was having fun abusing the cascade point bug the other day before it got disabled. Got 2 we ran out of medals in one match
What’s crazy about the disappointed veterans is if the devs used a different weapon model and name but everything else exactly the same, it would be all praise and no complaints.

I really enjoy Kinetic tremors + Firefly. The added reload speed is nice from Firefly as the third column is using KT where otherwise a stat perk would exist but mostly I like that I've got AoE in 2 flavors. I love KT but it doesn't do anything for red bar mobs you can 1-2 tap. Unless a tougher enemy exits, my KT doesn't always go off. With Firefly? I get that AoE for add clearing even on enemies that die in 1-2 hits where I can't proc KT.
Though this exists on both Blast Furnace and Midnight Coup so I'm not sure which would be better with the perk. Scouts do have the least amount of shots needed, so there is that.

Can I just say that the fact that the curated roll didn’t have Firefly is down right criminal. This was supposed to celebrate iconic Destiny weapons, and the first thing any Destiny vet thinks of when you think of Hung Jury, it’s gotta be Firefly.
The combo I want it's cascade point kinetic tremors, because it basically becomes a secondary weapon and also you proc kinetic tremors super fast

I just got a kinetic tremor/ explosive payload
I had a Kinetic Tremors/Firefly roll that I was excited to try and forgot to pull it from my postmaster and lost it during the same run. Luckily you get so much loot from Onslaught you can get a ton of rolls. As a vet with now 4 versions of Hung Jury, there is still a chase for one.
My only complaint about it returning again is just the fact that it's still CURRENTLY in the game and I don't count regular NFs as something out of band for most players to just get one. That said I was HOPING to try out Tremors/Cascade point that I got very early, but they shut off before I could give it a go so I guess I'll wait for a different roll lol
I'm mad they've broight it back for the 3rd time while STILL not giving it the roll that actually made it an iconic weapon, Triple Tap / Firefly
I ended up getting one from the chest that has two perks per column and the limited addition ornament. The roll is Shoot to loot/Kinetic Tremors and one for all/precision Instrument. Reload MW. I feel lucky.. It's a beast in PVE.

Did I get precision instrument & KT on Jury? Yes. Am I loving it? Yes. I just wish it wasn't on a Scout named Jury.
no distractions box breathing has always been one of my favorite dad rifle rolls for pvp, just to challenge other scouts and sometimes snipers, got a similar roll on randys with zen moment and its just a good time man

I don't have time to explain how Hung Jury is back after it just came back after it came back again.
I've been using rewind and desperate measures, and it's a god roll to me. because when you are getting precision, it gets a lot more ammo, and punches hard. when you can't spare a second to reload in intense situations, it's great. and I notice that when the knights , adz, and the trolls are literally on top of you, they die really fast, and it seems to give some kind of protection. as long as the shots are going, it just punishes them. any one else try that combo?
Personally it should’ve been either oxygen or revolker but regardless it’s a good ass weapon
If only tremors and payload worked together. This gun would have been absolutely goated. 3 shots to proc tremors on a primary weapon, possibly only 2 when enhanced would have made this thing an absolute must have. As is its still good but not so much that its a priority.

I know people aren't excited about Hung Jury, but hear me out. Rewind Rounds + Firefly gives you a version of Hung Jury that feels like the classic Triple Tap + Firefly god roll from D1. I have one with Appended Mag and Backup Mag mod to get to 19 rounds. On Carl, I can get off 37 rounds of straight DPS per clip with RR. Feels so nostalgic and incredible!

If they were going to bring back a well liked and popular scout, why not Mananan? It was one of the best most used energy weapons in vanilla D2.
So many weapons were infintely more deserving of returning than Hung Jury, especially when this latest version is a sidegrade to previous versions at best.
I just want to understand what Bungie was thinking when picking what weapons to make new versions of. I guess they're saving guns like Dust Rock Blues, Antiope, Martyr's Retribution, etc to bring back in the upcoming episodes

Nice clips but that match on Exodus Blue where you slaughtered us and got the We Ran 10.67 efficiency was not your first match because I was in that lobby with you and we played on Meltdown the match before where you topped that lobby w a 3.0.
Hung Jury is right up there with Fatebringer as the quintessential Destiny primary. It's also a reminder of The Taken King (aka Peak Destiny). Bring it back as many times as you like, Bungie.
Your delusional if you dont believe explosive payload CUTS the kinetic tremor proc requirement in half, i only needed 3 shots to proc tremors
My first true shiny drop and it was a Hung Jury with Rapid Hit + Precision Instrument or Desperate Measures.
They should have renamed this gun the “Mixed Feelings.”
I have a “Kinetic Tremors” and “Firefly” Hung Jury. For PVE it is insanely versatile. Firefly destroys low tier enemies en masse & Kinetic Tremors is amazing for higher health enemies. It is a do everything scout rifle.
I am one of those people who is REALLY sad that those weaponsy only have 1 origin trait... i do really miss omolon fluid dynamics on it. Combined with no distraction, box breathing and some more stability it just cooks in pvp. I do unfortunatly notice it.
Also super sad that explosive payload does not count as a hit for tremors. Was hoping that this would be a super fun unique roll and same for midnight coup since it has it but alas...
I was hopeful (kinda) that explosive payload was going to make kinetic tremors activate twice as fast, but that would be kinda busted, so I get why it doesn’t work that way. For this, I’ll probably keep the curated box breathing roll in the vault for crucible and not worry about it too much.

I think it would be cool if they would let us do a quest to unlock each weapon from the brave arsenal's normal origin trait as well.. i.e. Hung Jury - Omolon fluid dynamics. If not a quest then when we can enhance them... maybe even just the gold foil variants. Would be nice to have the option for most of these weapons, or to see what the black armory weapons wilo get later.
I like indomitablity, I just think it would be a nice touch.
Would have been cool to have ‘Treads Upon Stars’ or ‘Burning Eye’ from D1 but I’ll take hung jury again..
Kinetic tremors should stun unstoppable champions. It just makes sense.

Are there actual new players? Steam tracking still shows the player count quite low though the peak is highest in 6 Months but I'm assuming that's just old players. I don't think there's anything significant in terms of new guardians

I have HJ with KT and DM. Randy's Throwing Knife with Gutshot Straight and Kinetic Tremors is far better.

I have a completely mid ND+BB non-adept Hung Jury that I still do well with in comp and trials. Now I can replace it with a proper god roll 😂😂
had a shiny hung jury drop with tremors + OFA and nearly sharded it just because the OFA wasnt explosive rounds.

Desperate Measures is Rampage with extra steps. It should buffed to be in between Golden Tricorn and Rampage in damage.
TBH what has really gotten me right now is I have two weapons with the limited edition shader but only one of them has double perks, so I am not sure what is special about the weapon. Bungie really did not do a good job of explaining it in game. They could have easily put a tooltip on the weapon to explain what is going on.
I'm glad they went for a more pve focused hung jury this time, but we have plenty of vaulted scouts people would love to see return and this is disappointing regardless.
I refuse to grind for another scout. No point when doom of chelchis exists especially when you can pair that with heritage or scatter signal. Also i already got a hung jury rotting in my vault where it belongs.

seriously and not only this but also the sniper from a raid also still in the game and farmable, could ahve brought back a plethera of weapons, like the steelfeather repeater or breachlight from the saint season two of the most beloved weapons around or the liniar from that season that never got to shine because of sunsetting
but no we get repeats or repeast for the memes aparently freaking edge transit too at least that mixes up the perks unlike this -.-

Kinetic Tremors sucks, it takes too long to proc and the damage is never worth it. Much rather have firefly or just use an energy as their explosions are actually useful.
Idm this gun returning. It's never been meta breaking but the gun does alright in pve. So if you wanna change up the loadout it makes a decent weapon for your kinetic slot
Hung Jury is good, it has new perk combos that are good, the origin trait is good. It just could have been any other kinetic scout rifle and still had those rolls and origin trait. I do like how the sight looks on this new version more though.
