Can't say enough about how helpful those recoil comparisons are. I don't think anyone else is really showing them like you do and it makes it clear and easy to see what to look for. I honestly can't stand deterministic recoil on most guns because nothing short of doing what you're doing allows you to make sense of it.
I can confirm , it is very lame to do. BUT, I don't know why others don't do it. You almost have to. Deterministic recoil goes against the recoil stat. I really appreciate that!

I got the high cal, perpetual motion, zen moment roll first few tries!! Its a laserbeam. LOVE IT! kill chaining perks are cool and all, but in 6v6 you’ll rarely get to use them unless youre sitting in the back camping like a coward. If you play aggressive, by the time you got your first kill youre already at half health, so kill clip is only really going to let you body the second guy. By the time the third teammate comes after him, youre already dead! Consistency perks all the way!
mmmm this sounds like it would pair nicely with my prismatic mask of bakris build (you can use bakris so long as you have a stasis super equipped, same with elemental capacitor ofc)
Back when I was grinding for my Luna’s Howl, my go-to was a Bygones. I’m so excited to have a pulse with the chevron scope back, and a good rapid-fire at that!
I hope they never put that scope on a sniper again tho, I lowkey hate it on slower firing weapons. Fast firing weapons it works but it just throws off my aim on everything except this, bygones, and MIDA

There is no extra damaging explosion from destabilizing rounds. you can put two targets next to each other, shoot one, the other will have full health with the volatile debuff. I pushed two vex next to each other, killed one, the other was full health but volatile. There is a visual purple explosion but there is no extra damage. Even d2foundry says something about the "damaging explosion" with a ? for the amount, but there simply isnt one. The patch only applies to enemies that are already volatile. If an enemy dies with the volatile debuff it will cause a volatile explosion instead of just doing nothing. That was the only buff to this perk. Enhanced lowers the internal cooldown, that is all. If it actually had a damaging explosion this perk would be so much better. Its a nice perk for void titan since volatile is much more effective on that subclass, or if you want an overshield for offensive bulwark's grenade regen. I wouldn't use this perk with gyrfalcon since I'm already applying volatile by just shooting stuff, a damage perk is much more valuable.
I love the rapid fire frame (scouts, sidearms, pulses) and I was skeptical about this one since its in the same slot as Horror's Least and Scalar Potential..... but 100% agree with your breakdown. With the perfect set up its a run and gun beast. Had lots of fun with hammer forged, hi cal rounds, headseeker and zen moment. Everyone wants Crimil's but don't sleep on this rapid fire.... if you like that type of archetype
When I saw the rolls I immediately thought of these 4; PM, killclip: consistent chaining PM, zen: lazerbeam HS, killclip: damage monster HS, zen: dueler
this weapon is blessed. I ended up with a headseeker + kill clip roll with 64 range. boys and girls, if you're on PC, don't be afraid of full bore and low stability. It's reasonably easy to control and you'll feel like everything you shoot is a crit. Throw on a CB mod and eat. IB KD is 3.48 and rising because of this roll.
I got a headseeker rampage roll as one of my first, it's got low handling and reload but nothing a loader mod can't fix, I've had an absolute blast with it, I also have a perpetual motion kill clip roll that I've been enjoying as well, this gun just out duels everything, imo it needs the damage perks but the chain potential is insane.
I got Corkscrew, Light Mag, Headseeker, Zen Moment, Range Masterworked. I absolutely love it! It feels great for dueling. It feels almost as good as my Keep Away/Headseeker Scalar.

I feel that I’ve had about 10 of them and not one had zen moment 😢 update! I finally got an arrowhead headseeker and zen moment but it had hi cal and handling masterwork. Better then nothing I guess lol
Holy fuck. No way the game is that bugged. Out of my first 10 about 5 were god rolls. My best two being high cal, perpetual motion, zen moment & high cal, head seeker, zen moment. The rest were rampage & kill clip rolls. Its been crazy. Hope your luck gets better bro. Keep playing
I have one with zen and headseeker and live it. I was running that and Crimil's Dagger with moving target and adagio. Constant two taps with so much range with Crimil's. Even with damage fall off, you're still hitting nice numbers.
Been using a v1 roll again in IB since they removed the power level advantage. Roll is CSR/SB + HCR/FM + OL+KC. Now I'm looking forward to replacing the old one with a new roll.
I got a HS/ZM/AB|CC roll with a Range Masterwork. With chambered compensator I get to 49 stability and 49 range. Seems like a very good roll. I'm really old, so ZM is a must for me. Will give it a try in IB tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.
Folks. Listen. I got the headseeker kc roll and I was very pleased. Then I got THE roll … arrowhead break hi cal ele. Capacitor and zen moment on controller . On my briarbind warlock build paired with travelers chosen. It’s rips so much harder than kc/hS it’s crazy! If you get this roll enhance it and break out you void guardian of choice and feel the power.
I got two of each HS/KC and HS/ZM in my vault out of curiosity. I probably would of deleted all 4 for space if I didn't see your vid. Been farming mostly for repulsive brace and destabilizing rounds.
More looking at this for PvE with the sparsity of void pulses that aren't on the slower side of rpm. Really liking Perpetual+Attrition for orb uptime on something like a Void Hunter Aeons build.
Personally I only rock with pulses if they have Surplus in the 3rd slot. Guaranteed uptime for stability, handling, and reload. The trade offs are less weapons to choose from as well as can’t ability spam (never been that type of player anyway)
My favorite guns on this game are rapid fire frame pulse I was looking for hammer forged ricochet HS ZM range MW and got it today and I have been loving every second of it. I missed this gun.

I’ve wanted a void autumn wind since I came back, this scratches the itch but I’m still hunting a roll I would say is on par with mine. Not sure what about the feel I dislike so far but the kick seems a bit much pro have ammo issues. I like gridskipper but it needs a refresh, I’m hunting headseeker/zen with arrowhead range master and any ammo perk that isn’t extended or alloy.
first roll i got was headseeker + kc, light mag smallbore reload mw, already 150 kills on it after probably 15 ish matches with it in iron banner. it RIPS. to the pain + zen moment could be worth looking at, the aim assist is pretty noticeable on it, but i'll have to try and get a headseeker + zen moment roll soon
Typing this because I already see the other comments. Headseeker does absolutely NOTHING to shift ttk or forgiveness for this archetype. Trading a single crit for a body is so niche, it will not change normal gameplay (Just like using Target Lock on a 600 auto). Use To the Pain or Elemental Capacitor instead.
Wow. I wish I realized this when I fully upgraded my headseeker/zen moment roll. I'll keep that in mind for future rolls, but I've also racked up 100 kills in a few hours with this one. I think that's a testament to how good this gun feels more than anything.
I played a couple of hours last night and my first drop was a arrowheadbreak/headseaker/zen moment w range mw. Later i pulled 10 engrams looking for Headseeker/kill klip Had no luck tho only bad rolls 😢
I got used to Claws with Arrowhead from my old one which I used the most pre sunset but now I think I still want one with Arrow even though I pulled a Smallbore, Rico, Head, Zen with Range MW. There's a lot of time left to get my desired roll.
That’s the true 5/5 smh I’m jealous, ur sittin at 56 range 68 stability after u hit level 20. Best I’ve gotten is smallbore, rico, hs, zen n a stability masterwork, sits at 76 stability n 48 range

You can go elemental capacitor stasis for strafe and recoil with zen for recoil and unflinching. No chaining, just pure dueling.

I have this roll and need to try it out! I managed to get a perpetual motion kill clip too.
If you play on console headseeker zen is the way to go. Killclip is mostly a 6v6 thing.

My first one dropped with destabilising/repulsor, which is a combo I’ve never had before. Works great on my PvE pink-mist build

To the Pain and Volatile is the best PVE roll I’ve gotten and it’s decent with the current artifact.

As a pve player repulsive brace in the left column is awesome. Means you can get a damage perk to go with your shield perk.

I wasn't a fan the first time I used this weapon. This is where I wish it had scopes. Not because of zoom but because I don't like the reticle.
This has always been my favorite pulse. I got my only ever we ran with it about a year ago. Kinda sucks everyone will have it now. 😅

first roll i got was headseeker + kc, light mag smallbore reload mw, already 150 kills on it after probably 15 ish matches with it in iron banner. it RIPS. to the pain + zen moment could be worth looking at, the aim assist is pretty noticeable on it, but i'll have to try and get a headseeker + zen moment roll soon

Typing this because I already see the other comments. Headseeker does absolutely NOTHING to shift ttk or forgiveness for this archetype. Trading a single crit for a body is so niche, it will not change normal gameplay (Just like using Target Lock on a 600 auto). Use To the Pain or Elemental Capacitor instead.
Wow. I wish I realized this when I fully upgraded my headseeker/zen moment roll. I'll keep that in mind for future rolls, but I've also racked up 100 kills in a few hours with this one. I think that's a testament to how good this gun feels more than anything.

I played a couple of hours last night and my first drop was a arrowheadbreak/headseaker/zen moment w range mw.
Later i pulled 10 engrams looking for Headseeker/kill klip
Had no luck tho only bad rolls 😢

I got used to Claws with Arrowhead from my old one which I used the most pre sunset but now I think I still want one with Arrow even though I pulled a Smallbore, Rico, Head, Zen with Range MW. There's a lot of time left to get my desired roll.
That’s the true 5/5 smh I’m jealous, ur sittin at 56 range 68 stability after u hit level 20. Best I’ve gotten is smallbore, rico, hs, zen n a stability masterwork, sits at 76 stability n 48 range
Hope u didn’t delete that roll😂u don’t need arrowhead if u got zen lol u got the 5/5. Trust me I got over 2k kills on my hs/zen claws that got both arrowhead n smallbore n smallbore is wayyy better
