I've tried a lot of Scart / S-video / Composite to HDMI, none of them is good except one product called RetroScaler 2x, but it didn't accepte scart entry, only svideo, composite and YPbCr. It cost 60$ but the quality is amazing at the end !
I was wondering if this works with retrotink 5x to improve the nintendo nes image on a CRT.
hello! so can you plug scart into this thing, then this converter to tv and then output s-video/rca from this to the capture card if i understand correctly? so you can see RGB on your tv and output rca/s-video to your capture card

Can you test something like this?
Scart RGB in > pass through signal inside adapter > RGB out to another way. Specially with RGB cables using at least Sync on Luma and/or C Sync.
With the adapter extracting S-video/Composite video + audio to a capture card or another TV, but without cut the RGB signal during the process. This video and the another does not show this possibility. Can you try this please?

Does this really convert an RGB signal to S-Video? I'm interested in buying one
I've tested it with RGB signal from Amiga RGB to SCART cable and it didn't work (white screen only). On the other hand it works fine with SCART signal from Commodore 64. I will post a video of this device tomorrow, working with the C64.
@@Hirudov I did some more research on it and it's just an adapter, not a converter. And it's just for the composite and S-Video versions of SCART, not RGB.

I tried it with rgb on sega genesis to svideo and it didnt work as well

Yes, if I insert the AV outputs directly into the framegrabber.
