heyyy! thats great. How well does it run? I have just got red dead 2 but didnt know it was the rockstar launcher ffs. As id imagine steam would be better as native.
So far no issues at all mate, so just follow the instructions and get the launcher installed, easy job, only thing is you need to be connected to internet to start the launcher every time you want to launch the game, so you won't be able to play rdr2 on the go, unless you connect steam deck to mobile hot spot 👍@@TomLally

If you are running the beta version of steam os go back and reinstall deck and use the second option in the update version says for beta version of steam os not stable

Hi, thanks for watching! I've not tried EAFC, but as far as I know, anything with Anti-Cheat still won't work as the games are still running within SteamOS ☹️ The only option on the Steam Deck would be to run Windows. There are a few methods for this, including dual boot, or running a potable version from a USB Stick or MicroSD card (I have a guide for the portable version on my channel!) I love my Steam Deck, but things can be a little fiddly at times! I've not tried the ROG Ally, but it may be a simpler choice if you want to run games that have Anti-Cheat. Decisions decisions!

I used NonSteamGamesL + Decky to install Rockstar Games Launcher . But it does not automatically add my game GTA VI to Steam. Looks like it's intsalled as .exe (windows game) how do I add that to Steam Library?

So, I did a clean deckyloader install, but none of the launchers would complete, going into an install loop, that could only be exited via a hard restart. After using proton-up to get GE-Proton9-10, Ubi, EA, Epic, itch, Rockstar installed successfully. But Gog gets stuck in the same install loop. Any ideas?

To the best of my knowledge, anything that uses Anti-Cheat (including FIFA) won't work. I think the only option is to run Windows. I do have a video where you can run Windows from a SD card (or USB stick). This may be the solution, but I've not tested FIFA on the Steam Deck so I don't know how well it will run.
If you check the NonSteamLaunchers GitHub, auto shortcuts are currently supported for: Epic Games Ubisoft Connect EA App Gog Galaxy Battle.net Amazon Games Itch.io Legacy Games So you'll just have to go through the launcher for GTA.
For the issue with Epic, try restarting your Steam Deck, I've had to do that before. Otherwise, is there an option in the NonSteamLaunchers Decky to reinstall the service or rescan? I don't have my steam deck to hand so I can't check sorry.
The Deck is such a weird little device. Some people seem to be able to download some things easily while some just don't seem to work for others whatsoever. Just did this, GOG won't show up & Ubisoft just won't want to launch no matter what I do

If you treat it as a true console, and use steam, it lays out for you what games are playable and which ones may not be (even though a lot of them work already) directly through the steam store. Once you go out of steam, you are entering what's similar to a consoles modding scene. Somethings work 100% of the time, other things may not. These devices are still relatively new, so there is some time until everything is polished. Also Linux previously wasn't really supported by many people but now valve is selling a mainstream device on Linux, these things take time to develop
My epic games launcher is configured like the PC version, its hard to see on the steam deck. mine doesnt look like your epic launcher. any suggestions?

I was wwondering why i couldnt find the launcher... it was kicked out of decky due to, apparently, a dev feud....
