Updating didn't work for me but I found a fix. I pair the controller with a different device, in this case I used my phone. After the connection was made and I confirm its working on my phone I put the controller back in pairing mode using the button between the bumpers Go to my steamdeck bluetooth settings and tap on the xbox controller to connect It takes one or two tries but its working for me now

so no xbox launcher

Did everything in the video. Booted to a black screen and almost nothing worked. If you have this issue. Create a new folder(no way to open file explorer so this was the only way I could do it) go to the drive or SD card windows is installed on. Click manage at the top of the window and then extend the volume and install the driver's that were added wherever you may add them. Thinking about replacing steamos entirely now. Using a throwaway 64GB micro SD card to test everything to determine if it's worth it

Hello for those who are having problems after windows installation NO WIFI etc. Here is how I did it, after installing and booting windows on the steam deck, I moved to a pc or Mac and downloaded all the drivers from the link provided, I put the drivers on a flash drive, then I used a type c flash drive reader and put the reader though the usb c connection in the steam deck (the charging port) , copied everything in the windows programm files and installed everything on the windows 11. hope it helps and sorry for my English :) Still having trouble with sound tough but WIFI is working.

I want to do this via my pc. Can I add the oled drivers to the sd card after the windows image is flashed? I think the card will appear full after the flash. Im no good at using steam deskrop mode.
