Was a good ship. And her sisters, I remember specially the inspiration.
Ships barely use whistles for any course change, passing arrangements, etc. Wakes up the crew who are already worked a ton and on passenger ships it scares the guests. Only time is usually when there is fog, distress, or an emergency.
I went on this ship when I was 7 way back in 2015 I think it was really fun. That was back when they did not have the water works and there was only one water slide on the whole ship.

I was on the inaugural trip of the Elation in the spring of 1998...:)
Same here 2010 was my first time out on the ocean. I was 18 and so fascinated with seeing the water as far as the eye can see. The stars at night with no light pollution. So cool.
