Brian has made my journey into fly fishing much less of a hassle than it could've been, With these Q&A's,tutorials and product reviews it made me certain of where my footing should've been when I was just starting out. I've been going on 4 and a half weeks of fly fishing and over that time have accumulated a trove of knowledge that would've otherwise taken months and months to learn on my own. I haven't picked up a spinning reel since those 4 and a half weeks started; with wonderful results so far. Here's to more fish and tight lines and as always, Thanks.
A month or so ago I had a question about maybe upgrading the fly line on my entry level outfit I had purchased before finding Mad River Outfitters videos. I sent an email question and within a couple hours, the man himself, Brian, responded explaining some of the why and how of the issues I was having and offered some suggestions. You can't not buy some stuff from MRO after getting real customer service like that. Good peeps, appreciate y'all.
Woke up the whole house when you said flyagra will "float split shot". I'll be sleeping in the back of the Jeep tonight, but since I'm fishing in the morning, it'll be slightly more convenient. Showering is overrated, and I think the trout will respond better to my natural musk than they would to my Irish Springs. Thank you for that, and I'm sure I will catch more donks on the fly than I would have with a proper shower.
Really informative. I don’t typically use liquid floatant but I see how it would be an improvement over gel especially on smaller dry flies where there isn’t much hackle to begin with and matting it down isn’t a good thing. Thanks for airing this video.
Thank you. Very helpful video. I have a question possible for future videos. Can you explain difference between 2 and 3 weights fly rod, how big is difference, I mean for everything like casting short and medium distances or use small nymphs? Thank you

Thanks so much for the support. Brian always says....."Customer Service is what we do for a living. Fly fishing is what we love and sell".

Thanks. They should get back to you promptly.
Love the High N Dry, but seriously, can they either make a caddy that fits them or shrink their bottles down to the standard size? :D
Thanks for watching. The new Loon Caddies fit:

Going to have to try some powder and liquid dip. Until now I figured Gink was basically it.
We'll be happy to send you some!
Damn High n' dry powder! I dunked my wet fly and drew back a powdered donut. A trip to the ER to remove the hook.
Wish you would have watched this beforehand?
Leader info … 👊🏻💪🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Like the butter hat
Thanks. We know where to get them......
I have some gink that has formed a gel. What can I add to it to bring if back to liquid state? Thanks for the great videos

I've often wondered if floatant was safe and not polluting the water.
You mentioned Gink being silicone based?
All of the High-n-Dry products are environmentally safe. Loon as well. Others....not so much.
@@Madriveroutfitters Good info!! Thank you! 👍
When practising casting on the lawn do you need to put a leader and a fly on?
A leader for sure, not so much a fly.
Tie a short piece of yarn to the end of your leader so you can easily see where your cast landed.
what...no mucillin?
Brian is old…..but not that old. Thanks for watching.
They never told him, links aren't posted above his finger lol
We see them just fine on this end. They are most definitely there.
LOL.
Must be a grip of $ to send a hat to Germany.
A deal is a deal!
