Yes, but the mystic sound left with Tarja, and it's not necessary anymore. Floor does a killer job here, and I'm not even a fan of her doing stuff from the first three albums, this is an exception.
Floor and Marco of cause are amazing, but whats even more amazing, Kai is getting more and more in the huge huge footsteps of Jukka.
Jukkas got the charisma, and I love him for that, but this guys’ the better musician overall
This performance is criminally underrated. Vocals (both marco and floor are mesmerizing), drums, guitars, stage show, effects, lights. Just amazing.

Man, Kai just pulled out all the stops and took off! What technique and passion for the music. I love Floor's interpretation of this song, her range brings out the low growling vocals and still hits the high notes with crispness. Man, everybody rocks on this video. Marco’s voice breathes new life into this song. I used to love Tapio’s voice that they used in Oceanborn, but Marco gave it another touch, now I can’t stop listening to this version instead of the album one. And Floor 😍

I had completely stopped listening to Nightwish since Tarja's departure. I discovered Floor last month. I can not stop listening to it anymore. Her voice is incredible.
Pierre-Luc Cartier same man. I feel stupid for not wanting to listen to anyone other than Tarja but when I heard Floor I couldnt believe she is as amazing as Tarja. They are both awesome in their own ways.

I've been a Nightwish fan for just a bit now, 6 months or so and I am thoroughly impressed with everything I've seen them do.
I'm truly grateful I never knew them when Tarja and Anette were their leads, Floor Jansen is... well whatever she wants to be. Her versatility is unlike anything or anyone I've ever had the privilege of listening to.
I will continue this wonderful journey to see where it goes and hope one day to see them here in Houston...

I remember that cold day back in December 1998, listening to Oceanborn for the first time at my local record store and being blown away by Stargazers. I knew right back then that this was a band to follow me for a long long time. And it still does today, more than 20 years later, even though a bit of that special magic of Oceanborn, Wishmaster and Century Child might have got lost on the way through all those years. Still, I always LOVE to see them all together on stage as they still rock like hell and they always bring back a lot of those memories of mine that I treasure very dearly.
Finally, I could not stand it so long, finally met my expectations, the mix, the captured images, the sound that the troy makes with his guitar is perfect. Finally, everything is perfect.
I keep looking between this and the original, and I can't say one is better than the other! Tarja brought certain elements to the song that Floor didn't, but Floor brought her own elements that made this version uniquely hers. They're both top notch and I love having two amazing different versions of the same amazing song!

I admit I hadn't heard a version of Floor doing this live, yet, since they didn't play this one in Philly last year. But every time I hear these classic songs with Floor's live twist, I fall in love with them again. There is so much to enjoy about the original and this live production. Just beautiful.
Hannah Purnell they definitely played it in Philadelphia last year 😉. I was there, and it was one of the highlights for me. The only songs Philadelphia didn’t get that this DVD will have is Deep Silent Complete and Amaranth.
I actually have video footage of them performing this in Philly. This and Dead Boy's Poem were my favorite performances during the show.

I've been out of the game for so long last I checked anything by Nightwish they still had Annette on vocals. Now I don't mean this as a knock on Annette, but it sure is nice that they have a singer these days with the proper vocal range for playing their old stuff.

This song is probably the best performance of an Oceanborn song with the current lineup. Marco's interpretation of the devil is better than Tapio's, while this is one of the few cases where Floor sounds actually BETTER than the original. And my favourite point: the drums drive the song like a fking machine gun!

Nightwish really struck gold when they got Floor in the band. People thought nobody could dethrone Tarja. I personally feel Floor has done it after being proven time and time again whenever she handles the classics.

IMHO, Tarja doesn't need to be dethroned. We just needed an epic singer, not a copy of Tarja. And we got it! Floor is amazing! Why the need to compare, when you can listen to both? I prefer Floor, but there will always be people who mourn after Tarja. And that's OK. Whenever I feel the need to hear a song with Tarja, I just do. But this doesn't stop me from loving Floor's versions.

My hats off to the production crew. The audio and video quality is amazing. Can't wait to receive my copy of the Blu-Ray. Might should have ordered 2 copies as I will probably wear the first one out in a weeks time. Band, song and performance is outstanding but that really goes without saying at this point in time.
