In this video, we'll explore the process that LEGO uses to design, develop, and produce their iconic minifigures! From sketching designs and creating prototypes to injection molding and printing in one of LEGO's many factories, the process is complex yet fascinating! Some special minifigures even use advanced manufacturing techniques such as dual molding and overprinting. LEGO has produced over 8 billion minifigures since 1978 and they're not slowing down. Enjoy the video!

This totally feels like Huggbees could make a "How It's Made" parody out of this XD
I'm also kind of surprised they still make most of these pieces in Europe, unlike most mass-produced things. I guess that's why the quality of LEGO pieces is still very high to this day.
The minifigure factory looked like it ran almost completely un-manned, there are advantages in having the factory reasonably close by and accessible whe you are constantly updating or changing designs.
Mini figures might be the best part of a Lego set.
“Might?” 😄
Might be? You mean are?
Speaking personally I look forward to Technic bricks in System builds. It's why 50% of my bought sets are vehicles. Technic bricks are used to build the chassis
Too bad there's not an infinite number of them
Correction* is*
dang only 4 billion? We dont even have enough minifigures to give everyone on earth 1.
When I was a kid I never was interested in minifigs, but now I am adult - I really love them!
I hope they bring the Lego Minifigure Factory back soon! I didn't get a chance to look at the site before the beta closed.
Some people try to do RUclips with real science and aren’t popular while people seeing lego science are like “Oh crap, lego science!! I’m subscribing!!”
Your videos are so interesting :)
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them.
I have a Clone Wars Mace Windu from 2009 that doesn't have the black print on the neck . I wonder what that means ?
Awesome video spitbrix. I've watched you for a long time and I love your interesting videos. Really make my day better
Only 4 billion minifigs? I could swear that 1 billion is already in my room.
GREAT HISTORY LESSON SPITBRIX LEGO PIECES OF MINIFIGURES
Who else loves spitbrix? 👍
Me
I’d love to make my minecraft skin into a Lego mini figure, as well as create stuff Lego hasn’t made yet like a specific Lego minecraft villager profession.
The only problem might be that people re-create rare/limited edition lego figures (if you are able to upload your own design, which would be the most important part of this)

0:36 the Dino is from series 24 and the pigeon is a Turkey from series 23
What you're seeing at 3:14 is a shaker bowl. All they do is vibrate, but it causes the pieces to move up the ramp inside the bowl. They will go past gates and fixtures that ensure all the elements leave the bowl in the desired orientation. It's really cool to watch one in action.
Lol i am from Czech republic. Prove: Ahoj, tvoje video je celkem dobré.
And first to finish it
I live in czech Republick
I got to see in person some 2 x 4 dark red lego brick be made in legoland California and i still have them to this day. I think it was because i have hearing loose and wear hearing aids
huh, i always thought the marks on the necks were for kids do know which way to have the torso facing if they removed the arms, but turns out it's for the machines
Honestly even the red unprinted earth Vader looks sick, maybe even better than the printed black.
And still they still can't figure out how to make them not crake so easily over time
I always build the minifigs first, I need assistance when building
If theres 4bil minifigs how many lego bricks there are?
I want to use the minifigure factory for custom minifigures for my family as presents based on things they like to come in a custom set for birthdays and Christmas
First
Congrats
You can still do the minifigure factory at certian Lego stores and also at some Legoland parks
Keep up the good content!
8:14 The Lego Vidiyo app has a similar mini figure design feature like that. Although it’s singer themed it’s still cool.
This was so fun to watch, thank you for making this video ^^
When I was 5 I thought the mini figures with missing heads were special astronauts
dragon wasn't a patch on the t-rex sketch. hope they make that minifig one day
You need to build an entire concert stadium, I'd love to see more lego enthusiasts design one
This is something I’ve always wondered
in Poland you still can order a custom minifugure
They are look nice
Plz can you do more Ninjago content
First like first com
Nahh bruh

Dude I love your videos but you have to stop pointing out RUclipss shopping feature, you’ve said it in SO MANY vids, we get it man
I'm one of a few creators that are working with RUclips to test and promote YT shopping as they continue developing it :)
@@SpitBrix Oh okay that makes a lot more sense, its cool that your working with the real deal RUclips! Also thanks for replying
I live nearby Kladno.
Need to make more brown ones so my city can be a real life city make more black mini figs
Wtf
The best minifigure is Rex :)
7:38 You said that these bins contain 1 of every part that will go into a bag. It would be better to say that each bag will receive the specified amount of the types of parts that are set for the inventory of the bag that are to go into the tray, especially if it's not a minifig. 1x2 plates, for instance, could be any number that the set actually calls for, not just 1.
In this case I believe he is talking about the minifigure itself
You can find mkinifigure factories in some stores. I designed my own in december, and I got to design my own shirt. It jst seems to be an in person thing.
yeah but those aren't actually factories. you just pay a heap of noney to print your own figure
the machines dont sit there for hours printing thousands of figs lol
Curious if Lego would make their sets just a **little** less expensive by shipping all 9 individual minifigure pieces separately vs. maintaining all the factory equipment to assemble them
Maybe but it would be pain to assemble them
@@stepankrejci5277 Yes, it takes a lot more force to join the arms and legs than a standard brick.
Plastic
Wow 😍😍
