I have a 2014 airborne trooper with a shifted up print it's not the most noticeable but you can kind of see it and I have looked and found nothing about it being common so I hope it's rare
I have two, the head from the man from the lego studio's horror subtheme had one eyebrow unprinted. Humorously the site I bought it from randomly supplied it, didn't realize til much later its a rare misprint. The other is my beloved and only roman legionary, the red print for his skirt was cut off before fully filling the lineart
I had sent you a photo of a misprinted sticker in the 2018 passenger train set. but never ended up in any video
Jan 28 is my 8th birthday
princess Leia with the smooth hairpeice
This is what you call an expensive mistake, but in a different way
this deserves more likes
Yup, it sure is!

Here before this comment blows up
Man, the hair shortshots can be actually useful. And they don't look bad at all!
🤔 - You make a valid point...
Lego is such a big company, that every time they mess up, they don’t even lose anything.
In 30 years of getting new Lego sets I only once had a miss produced part, a 4x4 plate that wasn't fully molded. I was actually very happy to get such a rare piece.
Mold error headgear pieces like hair and helmets are actually interesting and even useful to add difrent variations of the piece. Not everyone has so long hair or identical helmet. wrong color and double combined prints are also pretty cool since you can easily make new characters with them and Lego Is all about creativity
⅘
I once had a first order stormtrooper with purple stripes instead of black ones I actually
Iiked how it looked😂
We don’t call them mistakes. We call them happy accidents.
Not when you have to stab your own hole in a sticker like I did
Dang good one
Bob Ross!?
BOB ROSS IS BACK?!?!?!?!
Bricks Ross
The hole at 3:09 is perfectly cylindrical and perfectly in the middle of a stud, so it was more likely an ejector pin that hadn't retracted after pushing out the previous part
I've got a bunch of those pale white stormtrooper heads. Never knew they where worth that much.
They aren't a misprint...
@@TheBrickDudeStudios oh.
@@TheBrickDudeStudiosthey are
Very entertaining 😆👍
now even more people will go on forums to ask if their worthless misprint is gonna pay their mortgage.
IKR
honestly, I feel like shortshot bricks could be used pretty well for debris/rubble
Why does that Red Black Panther head actually look really cool? I would love to use that piece for a custom Iron Heart minifig!!!
Tbh these prices are basically normal for Lego these days
Yeah, that's true
4:02 thats a Clone trooper not a storm trooper
I am triggered as a stars wars geek
@@HybridbasketballPHagree, I do
3:01 (checkpoint
4:02 Stormtrooper? 💀
The clones need more recognition
its an arf trooper !!!!!!!!!!
We need another Ninjago video from you. You didn't make any Ninjago videos last year and that's a shame! You were the best Ninjago RUclipsr
01:28 the half moulded hair looks better lowkey
in the cases of torso misprints you can just remove the hands and flip them backwards to get the correct thing, also probably the hands can be attached backwards rather then a misprint
the black line at the neck of the torso might tell if the piece is actually printed backwards or just flipped
That’s funny I had a Duke detain mini-fig from the town square set I hadn't even realized that the eyes were out of place on it for the longest time , thanks for letting me know these are rare!
Some extra detailing near his chin was missing too
chinney chin chin
I actually have a Visorak chassis that was overfilled: some of the peg- and axle-holes were full of plastic. Speaking of Bionicle, what's funny is that the masks referred to as "misprints" from the first year of the line weren't misprints by any of the definitions in this video; they were just molded in the wrong colors due to a miscommunication.
4:02 Call me a stormtrooper one more time, I DARE you
Nice video! You might be interested in this misprint as well….the Miss Gail Storm minifigure from the Lego Adventurers theme has a misprint where the blue undershirt and yellow on her press badge/belt are flipped it looks like she has no undershirt!
While collecting, remember that something is only worth what someone will pay you for it. From personal experience, you can go down rabbit holes if you focus on what price guides tell you. Finding a real person to pony up the "value" of a piece is a lot harder than finding the piece in the first place.
If you collect, do so because of your interests and love of the collection, not because of 'investment'. That way you still enjoy yourself, and lessen the stress of what should be fun. Enjoying yourself should be the priority. 👍
I wonder where the misprints they DO catch go
probably destroyed and gets re-used in a better quality brick
@@leoamogusballs9213 yes
idk why they use stickers. they can just print the design on the brick
ye but thats more expensive
Ikr, it's so much better
To spend the leats amount of money possible. That’s the only thing they care about
Stickers don't rub off with time
@@lazar0987 what’s the excuse for expensive sets and 4+ sets? If you’re paying £60 for a helmet, you’d hope that they’d at least print the simple plaque. Or if you’re paying £400+ for the Hogwarts Express they’d find it in the budget to print the quotes.
They are, however, able to make countless unique prints for random cheap 4+ sets.
I understand prints in 4+ sets are more simplistic and they’re used because the younger audiences may struggle with stickers, but adults collecting sets may struggle with stickers. And when it comes to £300+ sets, wonky stickers are the last thing you want.
4:01 that’s an ARF trooper from the clone wars not a storm trooper
Mr.SpitBricks can you do:most expensive lego briks?
I think many of these videos don't take into account the fact that anyone can list a misprinted on ebay for a billion dollars, but do they actually SELL at that price? Almost never, they mostly just sit there collecting dust for a decade before the seller gives up and takes the first offer they get (which is still kinda expensive but still far less than the original listing price).
Does this mean the misprint is "worth" so much? That's philosophical, you could say yes because that's the listed price but realistically no - nobody would pay so much unless the seller is crazy lucky.
Good on you for talking about this in your video!
Exactly what I think. I have tons of misprints, and I would never sell them unless I really needed the money, but if I did sell them, none of them, even the most misprinted misprints I own would sell for more than $800.
@@TheBrickDudeStudios Woah, what $800 misprint do you own?
I have a Tusken raider whose torso and legs were double printed.
Yo the whatnot livestream is on my birthday that’s sick
We dont call them misprints we call them happy little accidents
The rollercoaster of emotions tied to fund loss and the pursuit of recovery.
Imagine buying a expensive set just for 1 piece and it’s a misprint
6:07
That actually looks really cool
I wish I had the comically large sums of money some of these figs are asking for. I really like that Spider Gwen with the recolored torso.
Yeaaa but its not worth 10,000 lmao
@@codythefriendlyskunkboy1780 if he had the money he would have bought it, maybe even an offer?
@@CS-ro1mx ?
@@codythefriendlyskunkboy1780 you said its not worth the 10k, but someone @tacoman6697 said if he had the money to burn he would buy it.
@@CS-ro1mx Ik, Im just saying its not worth the 10k but do what u want-
The C3PO I got from bricklink matches the pic of the double print one from this video, neat
Please make a video on every mini figure with colored eyes?
I am actually the owner of a misprinted piece, the Thanos head from my Infinity Saga Avengers Compound set came with only the white and not the black printed on. I know that prints missing is hard to prove, but on one part of the head, the black would have been printed below the white for the glint on the eyes, and another part would have had the black over the white for the detailed separation of his top and bottom teeth towards the corners of his mouth.
When I looked at your PFP, my brain instinctively started playing Still Alive.
Its ironic I had a gotten a mistprinted double printed lego clone head in a lego set and it always pissed me off when I was a kid, but now as an adult I collect Lego prototypes, pieces with errors, test bricks, and illegally made lego pieces (like grangemouth bricks)
Call me a storm trooper one more time I dare you (4:01)
I've actually got a long-shot error, from a Mars Mission set I got as a kid. At the time, I was disappointed, because it didn't connect like it was supposed to, but now I want to find it again! I know it's floating around my childhood bedroom somewhere...
I'm Lucky (or unlucky ) enough to have over 200 misprints.
Wow! Which is your favorite?
Great video, and very informative!
I was curious how valuable a misprint is on a helmet if you don't have the rest of the figure, or if generally they're only valuable if you've got the whole figure.
I recently discovered a 180 flipped print on a Luke rebel pilot helmet when putting a old set, and am unsure how valuable it is.
Probably a max of $400 if you want it to sell soon, but if you want it to sell eventually, but not too quickly I think around $800.
Having the entire minifigure would definitely allow you to sell for a premium.
@@SpitBrix i recruit you to the army me and millions gathered by a youtuber have been commenting on every video the waffle house has found its new host we would like your help to spread the word
@@SpitBrix why did you calla a clone trooper a storm trooper?!😢
So just pointing out that you called and ARF trooper a stormtrooper, I know they get confused a bit but well, no judging.
Employees at Lego: this is terrible we must remove this at once
Me: I’ll give you my spleen for it
*4:02** go ahead call him stormtrooper one more time I dare you!*
Misprint: Happens
Lego Worker: Oh no, a misprint!
Fans: I'M GONNA GIVE U MY HOUSE FOR THAT BRICK!
I’m gonna feel bad for the person that got a lego set and ended up getting a misprinted brick💀
Only 18 pieces failing quality control is great. But if your quality control is getting worse and worse, that says basically nothing
I have a miss printed Muppets minifigure one of the old men
4:04 * clone trooper * 4:16 * not Chewbacca *
Lets hope Spit bricks goes up to 1m subs
Lol he hearted it yet no one likes here’s one free like
Yeah cuz i think likes take ur storage
i had a ninjago set with a mini figure head with incorrect color and a missprint i didn’t know the value so i just kept the set and it got lost
Your streak is coming out right before my birthday, best early birthday gift ever.
My friend somehow got a completely white batman
8:16 PROBABLY overpriced????!!! $5000 for a $50 misprint?? That's definitely, not probably.
that kai with the misprint was a jumpscare innit
0:12 what is Walter White doing in a Lego factory?
I remember my little brother bought a marvel set with iron man and and his whole suit wasn't printed just whole lotta red except his legs
I love misprints. How more misprints, how more I enjoy it haha
When you have a misprinted mr gold or cloud city boba fett then you are a very rich person
Who would think that a lil error and mistake in Lego printing could be so valuable! Good video!
And if one day I get a Missprint Lego piece, I will take good care of it
4:04 this isnt a stormtrooper , this is a clone trooper
When you realize that 100,000,000 bricks produce and 18 of those fails quality control is actually pretty awful when you think about. Especially when you consider that Lego produces millions of Lego sets with millions of pieces. Also I’ve been noticing a rapid a lack of quality in Lego sets since 2020
We don’t call them mistakes, we call them errors that make me rich
Double printing on done body’s are normally test prints and people get them because they know people in the factory that’s how I got mine
4:01 a lego channel with 700k+ subs doesn't even know what a stormtrooper is?
i have a misprint i believe unless LEGO changed the way they print the piece. So i got the LEGO Assembly Square set on December 31st and in the set you get 9 minifigures, one of them is a chef which on the box shows little lines to resemble the chef is overweight. My chef does not have those little lines so i guess my chef is healthy
3:57 definitely a stormtrooper 😂
When he called arc trooper a stormtrooper i died a little bit.
Arf u mean
Eyeless Iron Man in the thumbnail is an unholy image.
I got excited when I saw a misprint on my 501st clone trooper helmet, but then I learned that's really common due to Legos recent decline in quality
I've got a Macy helmet longshot mould error. The part where her hair pieces attaches onto the visor is extended quite a bit upwards
4:18 thats just a wookie, not chewie
I have a sticker sheet, where the layer under the print should be invisible, but its white. It was from the lego speed champions dodge charger set. I didnt put it on the car, because it'll mostly ruin its look.
4:02 it's a ARF clone trooper not stormtrooper
I have a handful of Samsonite era of bricks that have a very unique error on them. The error is that the logo studs are randomly oriented. Normally when you look at a typical 2x4 brick today all the stud logos are oriented the same direction. While on my Samsonite bricks it's ether one, 2, or all the stud logos are not oriented the same way. With that said I want to look deeper into this error and find out more about it. From what I think is the problem is that some of the molding machines where incorrectly made.
I got a batman helmet from the old tv series batcave set printed on the back
I feel like this happens a lot on the Legs lately. They are often slightly off Center.
the most expensive misprint of all is a correctly aligned astromech head
BTW, the Star Wars figure with the white head that was actually the color of her head. The character was wearing full white makeup
Edit: You should checkout Mike Jeavon’s RUclips channel and see his Uni Kitty misprint “I love LEGO: Double Decker Couch” review is the video
I have never had a misprinted figure before, but I did get a chipped/damaged black roof tile 3x4/25° in my Tumbler Set 76302 (2014)
My friend has a misprint of the Lego Darth Vader with the gold medal on one side while the back of the torso is his normal print.
That Luminara minifigure is worth around $100, I would be so angry if I got one with a blatant misprint.
The clear brick reminds me of melting ice.
What about marbled bricks? there bricks that have 2 different colors in one brick
Have a couple of the pale white balaclavas. Didn’t know they wrere misprints until now. Thanks!
4:03 "THEY'RE CLONES" -Rex
So the older the figure and the less it is around, the more expensive their misprint can be right?
“Subtle”
I’ve had a misprinted minifig. My biggest mistake from Lego was when my set was missing a chassis for the fire chief car
i got a missprint error with the lego 2017 speed champions the minifigure of the mercedes amg gt3 got an strait line pants and normally she have a yellow pant i love this missprint she looks so good with
The video ended before I could see the outro
Not a stormtrooper
I got a quarter tile pie piece misprint in the Assembly Square set. It is missing the pink in the print. It’s probably worth nothing though.
Imagine having a bad day so you buy a Lego to cheer up but the Minifigures have 88 faces
im sure it could sell for a lot
The iron man helmet misprint could be used as a custom helmet for red hood from arkham knight if you paint the helmet red.
i got the idea treehouse and one of the brown long pieces for the rooms was snapped in half so hard it had while lining around it cuz it was like that a while lol
