I doubt violent movies harm children. They have no idea what they are watching. They have no idea what death and suffering are.
i was watching robocop when i was like 2. The murphy death scene affects me more now as an adult than it did when i was a kid. i was watching all kinds of violent media when i was a kid and it didn't affect me in the least

In violent movies, the main character often shows strength through a lot of bloody scenes. Children's overexposure can cause bad perception.They can become more and more violent in thought as well as in action.

It's true that children are easily affected by violent videos. Kids tend to repeat what they see passively, their curiosity makes them interested in practicing action scenes, so they can hurt others or put themselves in danger. And once children find violence is normal, they'll behave aggressively such as smashing to express displeasure. Therefore, their ability to control emotions and behavior will be weak when they grow up.
Violent movies have a great impact on children.
Because children spend times watching violent movies develop some aggressions in their behaviors. They imitate major actors and scenes watched in the concerned movies. Such children can easily hurt others without considering the consequences. They tend to think that whatever appeared on the movies are true and can be practiced. Since these children still undergo cognitive developments and mental, whatever they learn contributes to how they behave. Moreover, the violent scenes in the film also cause psychological obsessions for children. Mildly they will lose sleep more severely than they will be psychologically obsessed for a long time or even haunted forever .Therefore, there should be solutions such as film age limits and parental control so that children do not watch violent films.

But one can get disturbed or triggered by a movie and then become physically agressive to someone. It is highly possible.

False comparison. One is specifically designed to convince and employs psychological techniques to do so whereas the other is telling a story. Video games and films are art forms and hence free speech.
@@marvincool3744 Free speech is not the issue. This is about influence on young people who see certain behaviors in the media. It doesn't matter what the intent is behind it. It affects all of us to a degree. Otherwise, companies wouldn't be spending billions on ads and entertainment media wouldn't have such an influence on our culture.

I'm Not Suppressing Freedom of Speech I'm Not Being Authoritarian. But if i was a Parent if i had Kids. I Would Not Let Them Watch 18 Rated Horror Movies or Violent Movies until they turn 18 for many Reasons
1. Kids are Easily Impressionable
2. Some Kids might Reenact the scenes they see in Horror Movies or Violent Movies. Back in the 40s when Kids Watched Superman and they Broke Their Legs cause they Leaped out the window.
3. Horror Movies are Not for Everyone
4. Kids could be Afraid to Sleep if they saw The Exorcist, Halloween 1978 A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984. Or Child's Play 1988 at an age where they Shouldn't be Watching those Stuff cause Those Films are not suitable for those under 18

Kids Shouldn't be Watching Violent Movies Cause Kids are Easily Impressionable. Kids can get Traumatized by Viewing Horror Movies or Violent Movies. If Kids are Going out and killing People cause they Watched this stuff, the Parents Screwed Up. It's the Parents Job and responsibility To Know what's going on in your Kids Mind and life the Whole Time. I shouldn't be Raising your Kids.

My neighbour has a grandson and he has been given killing dvds from he was 3 years old and now his grandad has given him a fake knife to kill somebody coz they won’t die he also had a wooden block that the boy and the granddad stabs sets it on fire throws it out a window but it’s ok it won’t die I know for sure this is gonna be a great big problem in years to come

Playing games cause passive-aggressive personality traits.
there are video games specifically meant to relax the soul, they are not all as bad as the mainstream games like call of duty or whatever. if you have a child, read with them they don't like to read alone that way you can make sure they are reading properly.
