I think a good point that was made, is that if (in my opinion) if the kid is younger than 12, it is good sometimes to watch these "movies" with them, to carry them along. I believe, that no matter how violent a film, for the good & the bad to be clearly defined. If the lines are blurry, I think it'll be a bit harder for kids to grasp, as opposed to adults. T.V. aka "idiot box" is becoming a fresh source of propaganda these days. And our lives are getting busier along with it. Parenting is tough.

I study vedieo game and grow up playing games like contra I feel the responsibility lies ultimately with the parents the gaming industry does have a game rating on all games and does say why a game was given this rating. Some games like call of duty do have a parental setting to remove blood and cursing understanding that kids will find a way to play. I feel the media is just as bad showing real like story of horrible things that really happen being able to teach your child the difference between reality and fantasy is not the responsibility of the game maker it's the duty of the parent and by taking a interest in your child does will help parents who don't play games or watch violent movies to learn what their children are playing and can teach them this is not real and to understand stand it's not ok to do this in life

If morality isn't relative then what is the objective standard by which we gauge morality? Just curious.
