The title says it all. What if The Saiyans organized a revolution against Frieza? This includes the strongest saiyans prior to Goku and Vegeta rising to prominence in Dragon Ball Z. This video focuses on the saiyans of the past like Bardock, King Vegeta, Paragus and more to see if they would realistically stand a chance of revolting against Emperor Frieza. This anime and manga related video also considers outside fan theories about Dragon Ball to analyze and explain each aspect of this topic.

The saiyans could never beat Frieza because they're all a bunch of frauds who never self improved because they just went around fighting dudes who were far weaker then them.
goku changed the game. he landed on exactly the right planet. he was weak enough that he had to learn to train and improve to survive, was not crazy so he was able to learn new stuff, and showed the other saiyans it was possible to hide and control one's ki. once vegeta learns how to do that, the pieces fall into place. otherwise they all would have been stuck under freeza forever

Yeah as far as I'm aware Vegeta and his father (King Vegeta) were the only two Super Elites. There were less than a dozen Mid-tier Saiyans (around Nappa's level). And the rest were low-tier (Raditz level).

ive never understood how 0 of the sayians found out that training will give them insane power boosts, especially in the early stages. further more sayians get stronger as they fight, how have they not sparred with eachother continuously and became drastically stronger. even if they dont hit frieza level there should be a few ginyus in the sayian force

Apparently, their concept of training was based on simply learning skills and cardio and let fighting experience do the rest (similar to the rest of the Frieza Force, really). Let's remember that Vegeta never trained to increase his power until AFTER Namek, when Goku's immense improvement forced him to face it was in fact possible for a low class Saiyan to surpass even him just by training, and even then his training was pretty much a saner take on Goku's gravity training en route to Namek (saner because without access to senzu, healin pods, or a willing healer he couldn't bring himself to the brink of death to stack a zenkai on top of the training results and accelerate recovery) up until WHIS taught him how to train himself.

Frieza decided to slay the Saiyan when he did because he knew that they didn't have any chance YET and wasn't stupid enough to give them one.
Sure, Beerus may have told him to do it, but even without him Frieza wasn't stupid enough to take the chance, all Beerus did was to get him to act a couple years earlier AT MOST.

Hey Qaaman, Bardock was at 10k before his final two zen-kai boosts actually. They said "Bardock has never been higher than 10k" (Meaning in the past). After Bardock almost got destroyed by Dodoria, he had already had a zen-kai from that planet with the future-telling species. He was likely at 15k when he fought dodoria, and then he was likely at 20-22k when he confronted Frieza.

I'm genuinely surprised people even thought this was possible. It feels like one of those death battles that someone is like "wouldn't this be cool" but as soon as you but a little bit of thought into it, the idea crashes under very obvious results.
You do realize with the sayian nature and there ability’s that frieza even being a threat is actually a plot hole right? Just saying when Akira wrote the zenki boost and how powerful goku and vegeta got on namik he wrote himself into a corner.

Frieza and King Cold understood the Real Threat: Potential. It's genetic advancement. Look what happened with Son Goku, Vegeta, and Broly. Frieza saw what he was compared to his Dad. Then, you see Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. It was the Future Threats. The Saiyans likely had grown significantly over the past two Generations.
That might be a factor too. We know that Vegeta surpassed his father rather early into his life, and then Goku and Vegeta's own children have easily surpassed the levels their fathers had reached at their age (Gohan became Gohan Beast at the same age that Goku first turned into a Super Saiyan, that's pretty nuts). So yeah, the Saiyan soldiers of a few decades prior were likely far less powerful to a point where Raditz would probably look like a prodigy compared to them.

There are two things in this video that you touched which might explain why Frieza had a reason to fear the Saiyans: spies and scouters. Espionage. See, if Frieza had spies in the nurseries/incubation areas of Planet Vegeta and we take the events of the Bardock movie as true, then Frieza would've gotten two very disturbing pieces of information.
First, an ordinary Saiyan called Bardock somehow went from a power level of 1,000 (or whatever it was) to closer to 10,000 in a short period of time after a bunch of fights. His other squad members also become much more powerful. Frieza's doctors and agents had enough data to figure out that Saiyans get massively stronger after a hard battle.
Second, Frieza would've gotten a report of a mutant Saiyan baby born with a power level of 5,000 or 10,000 or whatever Broly's power level was. Even though King Vegeta ordered for the kid to be eliminated, Frieza still would've got the information.
The Ginyu force are mutants and Frieza's own family are mutants so he knows how powerful mutants can be compared to other members of the species. Finally, he knows that the Oozaru form makes them even more powerful. So it wouldn't take a math genius to figure out that the Saiyans could become extremely powerful extremely quickly. If you think of it from Frieza's perspective, it made sense to get rid of the Saiyans and just use an army of normie weaklings with arm blaster guns to run his empire.
What if Bardock and King Vegeta get Frieza offguard. Do you think they would still get a chance or is it game over for our hero’s fathers.

I have six words for you. Zenkai boost. Healing chamber. Artificial moonlight.
Here's the process: you assemble a special squad of 100 elite saiyans. they beat the shit out of each other -> go healing chamber -> beat the shit out of each other -> go to healing chamber. Repeat this until you have a special squad of 100 saiyans all with a base power level of 10,000. These 100 saiyans sneak up on Frieza, throw up a bunch of balls of artificial moonlight, and transform into Oozaru. 100 saiyans with at least a 10,000 power level with 10x boost from Oozaru. Total power = 10 million. They all just start beating their chests and shooting mouthbeams at Frieza. Maybe Frieza takes out half of them by the time he gets ripped apart and eaten.
Think about how much stuff you have to make up for them to win

It's definitely a serious project and it would have to be top secret, but think about the Manhattan Project. Hundreds of elite scientists worked for a long time to create a nuclear bomb. They had to avoid all the Axis spies and they tested the bomb in the middle of nowhere in a desert. It was a top secret mission involving hundreds of elite scientists and they managed to do it.
So we can think of this as the saiyan version of the Manhattan Project. Of course, the saiyans knew about the scouters and they knew about Frieza's spies, so they'd do it on some isolated planet.
But if you think about it, it probably wouldn't take too long to do this. The healing chambers healed Goku from nearly dead after the Captain Ginyu thing to completely healed within one day. Maybe it was one hour. So they could put this army together pretty quickly depending on how many healing chambers they had.
Approaching Frieza and surrounding him before he could flee into space would be the tricky part.
They would be 100 grest apes with 100.000 power level , the total doesnt matter

The average namekian Dragon Clan farmer (3,000 PL) would body the vast majority of saiyans (1,000 PL).
Thing is...the 50x multiplier was never mentioned in the manga...for all we know...there is a minimum power that a SS could be.
Btw, qaaman rage boosts will still exist to give bardock the maximum chance of defeating frieza remember, if we composite Z bardock and Dragon ball minus and super broly bardock then bardock would've gotten a massive boost from a rage boost so like about 30K or something like that because rage boosts are kinda like bullshit, but hey gohan's rage is also bullshit so why not give bardock the bullshit boost he got in the manga, and say his raging determination puts him at around 15,000-100,000
The reason I'm talking about rage boosts is that they sometimes make the user even stronger without much reliance on the form, the biggest example is goku on namek because he was fatigued ad very injured so his power probably decreased in someway but rised back up to 3 million and the second example of that, is gohan in the cell games, his own rage boost got him the ability to even be stronger than super perfect cell.

They couldn't beat Freeza directly or any of his top henchmen, but I feel like most of Freeza's army loses to them and Freeza can't spread his top guys far enough to protect everyone if the Saiyans just focused on small battles against his weaker forces and other guerilla warfare techniques against the Freeza force that were spread out in the galaxy. Just basically be a huge pain in the ass with hit and run techniques and Freeza's operation becomes mostly ineffective

King vegeta power level was over 10,000 since when bardock was scanned to be 10,000 it was stated to be “near the king”.
There is a way many people seem to overlook. Comradery. If King Vegeta made a mission (and hid it from Frieza which I'm sure he could) consisting of all the strongest saiyans including a non-expelled Broly&Paragus and let them train and exploit Zenkais, they could made it.
Also skill. Not kill weaker beings, nut learn their skills - imagine King Vegeta who valued the Yardratians or even Kanassians skills. Or namekian. Just not being assholes would have saved them. But then again, assholery is what makes a true saiyan. And this comes from a big fan of this race.

There is another option: less death match more war on multiple fronts. Freeza and his top goons can't be everywhere. If the Saiyans are willing to lose Planet Vegeta and put all their Saiyans not watching the infants to wreak havoc all over the universe, Freeza will run himself ragged sending his men to kill or get killed all over the universe, even if he personally engages, there's just another saiyan in great ape form taking his territory and killing his men, same situation if the Ginyus, Dodoria or Zarbon go out. Even if Freeza won it would take decades to restart from scratch (unless this is the Super Continuity)

Hi Qaaman, Would it be OK if I sent you a what-if scenario I thought of where Frieza only decides to destroy the Saiyans a little over 20 years before he did in the anime/manga? In this scenario, Bardock and his squad are much stronger in their base forms due to many Zenakis over time, and Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz don't encounter the Z fighters yet.

@@QaamansLand what definitely changes your point completely is the fact that SSJ is never even stated to be a 50x multiplier in the manga/anime.... that info came out years afterwards in the daizenshu guides... prior to that it was just this ultimate form that turned a saiyan into the strongest warrior
@@QaamansLand Doesn't really matter if it's dub only, it's still the official English dub of that movie and English is considered the official world language... and many people would agree that full power Nappa was well over 5,000 otherwise he never would have pushed Goku to use his full power of "over 8,000" AND then use Kaioken on top of that... So yeah Nappa was definitely 5,000+ and there's no way he was stronger than King Vegeta... I think 10k to 16k max makes the most sense for King Vegeta, given everything we know...
Aside from Frieza, was everyone’s power level the exact same for however many years before Namek? Was people born with the power level or did they have to train up for it? Also would Bardock get a rage boost? Still wouldn’t be enough, but curious if it would happen.
So Bardock is basically the real king. King Vegeta at a measly 5000 is considered 'Super Elite' while being weaker than Roshi at the end of Z. I wonder why he was still considered low class.

@@QaamansLand If bardock knew an attack similar to genki dama goku learned from king kai if theres enough saiyans putting their ki into a genki dama like attack it would smash thru freezas giant planet destroying death ball and shred freezas ass cause the genki dama goku used in the namek arc nearly killed freeza in his final form at 50% so freeza getting hit with a genki dama like attack powered by thousands of saiyans would be to much for feeeza especailly in his weakest form

Wait I'm confused in the dragon ball multiverse example you gave all the Saiyan's attack Frieza at once in their Ape form so that would be a combine beam attack, So even if in their ape form their power levels were max 5,000, If you have each Saiyan doing a beam attack even if their entire race was only 1,000 Saiyan's the combined beam would be 5 million which if stronger than Frieza first 3 forms.

Qaamam technically frieza should of never been that much stronger than the sayian in the first place. I’d argue that the sayians should of been massively stronger than frieza. Here is the thing with the zenki boost and the the sayans natural tendency to want to keep getting stronger there is no way they would be as weak as they are. If vegeta and goku could get large power jumps by zenki boost alone than it does not make sense for the sayans to not be the same. Akira wrote himself in a plot hole.

So what if they used a power ball when Bardock is getting overwhelmed by Frieza and he turns into a great ape that would put him at 5mil and unlike Goku and Vegeta Bardock would have gone for the kill. Because the Super Saiyan Vegeta was talking about was a Golden Great Ape

10,000 x 50 is 500,000 times 10 is 5,000,000 so 2 5 million power levals all out in freezias weakest form might kill him maybe when he is most suppressed but even then its doubtful
Their backwards society based on individualism caused all these deaths. Even if they didn't want to let the lower classes access more power, King Vegeta could have at least used Broly as a last ditch attempt weapon to throw at Frieza.
I guess if we were really stretching things, maybe a Golden Great Ape Bardock could kill Frieza. A 500x multiplier would put him at 5M, which is just over 1.5x Frieza in his suppressed final form.

The saiyans stand 0 chance tbh. Even if they trained for decades, I doubt they’d get anywhere near as strong as Goku did in the Namek saga. Goku was literally training himself to the brink of death in a gravity chamber, eating a senzu, repeat. The Saiyans don’t have the luxury of any advanced training tech that we know of, and Frieza would definitely find out about it and would not tolerate it.
