Na modern is better as far as sound quality. Content is still top tier too. But yes same with the nostalgia. Is blackenfist still around? Id often confuse the two tbh.

what i like about this is that it's very accurate to what would probably happen according to the manga and anime, instead of the author of the video just coming up with anything that sounds cool, which happens with most of these what if videos

I think you are forgetting an important detail. Namek was never destroyed so New Namek doesn’t exist.

What if Gohan during the year Goku was on yardrat had a strange feeling Frieza wasn't Gohan and trained intensely for the year with piccolo? How would this impact the 3 years of training and cell games as he has a stronger base form before the hyperbolic time chamber

This is actually one of the best What If outcomes of them all given how many usually end up in disaster.

No, i mean there is no way for Vegeta to not let Cell become perfect ^.^ But i know what you mean, what if Vegeta somehow kills Cell before letting him become Perfect.
Jordan Kuhn Vegeta would've gone super saiyan 2 much later. Goku would still be alive and would go super saiyan 2 much later but would not be able to go super saiyan 3 since the stress on his living body would be too much to sustain the transformation first time (This is why Goku went super saiyan 3 in other world since he was dead).
Android 16 would still be alive. Hercule would not be as popular for killing cell apparently. Gohan never would've gone super saiyan 2 as a teen.
The majin buu saga would still happen. Gohan would have eventually learned super saiyan 2 after intense training with Goku and Goten. Goten would also have become super saiyan much quicker with Goku's presence.
Gohan would've killed Dabura since he would've trained in the 7 year gap because of Goku. This means that Vegeta could've killed Babidi and Buu before he could've even hatched since barely any energy at all would be supplied to Buu for it to hatch.
Tesla_Ray_Gun21 I don't think Gohan would learn SSJ2 without some kind of traumatic event. It took a lot for him to draw that out.
I have a thought, it shouldn't change too much, but wouldn't Piccolo train intensely the whole time just because he would be the main protector of earth? Since Piccolo has been developing protective traits, especially towards Gohan it would make sense that he would not only take Gohan after Goku died, but also train intensely with Gohan the whole time. That makes me think that Gohan would grow stronger much faster then when Goku was around because he wouldn't let Chi-Chi get in the way. Also, you forgot Fortune Teller Baba's ability to bring people back from the dead for a day. How would that factor into it? Could that be used to bring a Namakian back to Teach Piccolo how to make new dragon balls for sure?

john98765333 I agree, although I don't think Chi Chi would be a problem if Gohan stood his ground and told her he needs to do this for the safety of Earth and the people he loves. It worked when he told her he was going to Namek.
Piccolo knows how to create Dragon balls, Kami already made them and after fusing with Kami they became a new being with both Kami and Piccolo memories as shown when he talked to Popo as an old friend and still knew things Piccolo knew. In fact, since Piccolo would be stronger than Guru, Kami, and Dende; his dragon balls should be much stronger than there's and being able to not only have 2 wishes but being able to bring people who died before isn't out of the from of possibilities.
A hard point to beat is that earth dragon balls can't even revive the Namekis since they all were already wished back but reviving Guru is a maybe since he did die but was revived indirectly from a wish.

sonicadvanced But technically he would have whether he still wanted to or not. After all the Nameless Namekian split himself in the first place to be able to take the position of Guardian. Kami as the good half was the one who was allowed to take the job and King Piccolo as the evil half got pissed and became jealous so he just decided to take the world by force. Now that the complete Piccolo, as the Nameless Namekian originally wanted, is the Guardian his goal is achieved.
Sigh....gohans kindness is what changed piccolo I mean this is basic. He grew fond of him, befriended him (and the other z fighters).

Qaamans Land Maybe androids, Unseen timeline cell coming to his timeline, IDK, this is a what if moment. I could ask what would cause piccolo to kill 2nd form cell. Or why would the spirit bomb kill frieza if it wasn;t strong enough I the original timeline. It is just a what if moment so idk
TheSSJEnder For me to do a what if I have to have a realistic or alternative event that could have truly taken place that would affect the series. For instance, What If krillin killed vegeta is a very realistic topic as it is something that could have truly happened.

I really like this video because you thought about everything. The fact that you took Android 16 and Cell out of the equation because Goku had died like he was supposed to was a good move. More importantly, why didn't krillin kill frieza after using the solar flare. he already proved that his kienzan could harm frieza. So why did they not have frieza get cut in half by krillin?

1: what if Goku tried to finish off Perfect Cell on his own, without bringing Gohan in.
2: what if Trunks somehow turned Super Saiyan before Gohan died and then they
fought the androids.
3: what would have happened if Vegeta didn't turn into a great ape in his fight against Goku?
4: what if Krillin killed Vegeta on earth, with Yajirobe's sword
5: what if Goku never had the heart virus and was able to help fight the androids?
6: what if Krillin accidentally killed Vegeta on Namek when he blew a hole in his chest?

3.Vegeta would most likely lose quicker and goku wouldn't get as many injury's.
4.Trunks would never be born, vegeta would never get goku to fight as hard as he did, gohan would and krillin would die to guldo, etc.
5. He already made a video on that.
6.Well, it would suck for vegeta's pride, piccolo would die against frieza, trunks would never be born(or normal trunks) and a variant of trunks when hr is full human would be born. If this is future trunks, he would train as hard as he did.

If Vegeta had a completely out of character moment after the battle was over then he might bring Nappa to a healing pod and he would get a Zenkai. It's hard to say what would happen after that. He would probably get killed by the Ginyu Force or Frieza. But I don't see Vegeta being merciful enough to let him live.

Perhapsingly Piccolo would have been king shit on the street and Vegetard would be foucusing his power towards destorying Picklchode instead of Gayku because Friezar enslaved the Saiyans for like 185198519658148975641986541658941 years so Vegetard would get mad that he didn't get to kill Friezar and Picklchode would've taken the the throne of big booty bitches (CHICHI & Oolong)

What if Freeza killed everyone in his 3rd form?
Donovan Levine everyone would die like they did in trunks timeline, except trunks would not be there.
Goku would see everybody dead and go SSJ, kill Frieza, and die from the heart virus.
With Trunks never existing, Bulma would need to go back in time and save Goku. With only Chi-Chi occupying his time, Goku would have a high amount time to train but since Android 19 appeared the day Goku got the heart attack and there would be no Vegeta to save the day. Goku would die and since he would have no need to awaken 17 and 18, Dr.Gero would take over earth and most likely stop Cell's development.

I've really enjoyed following your train of thoughts on this topic and I must say that I like the what-if scenario with a timeline revolving entirely on Piccolo ... things would have probably not escalated that much as you pointed out, being him much more reliable and straight-forward thinking than the sayians!

Good analysis. Very good coverage on facts that I myself would forget, such as Picollo fighting the weaker androids due to Trunks not butterfly effecting everything.
Good video--well thought out and informative! I've always been a sucker for these "What if?" scenarios. I'd like to try to think of some, although I wouldn't be surprised if others had asked or tackled these questions before.
1. What if King Vegeta had become a Super Saiyain (prior to his planet being destroyed by Freeza)?
2. What if Nappa had killed Gohan before Goku arrived?
3. What if Cell had simply eliminated the Z-Fighters upon reaching perfection (no Cell Games)?
4. What if Goku's mind-altering injury as a baby did not happen? Or, conversely, what if it had been fatal?
5. What if Goku had been given a senzu bean directly after his first fight with Vegeta, instead of convalescing in the hospital for weeks?
6. What if Goku had survived the battle with Radditz and Piccolo had died, instead of the other way around?
7. What if Dr. Briefs, and not Dr. Gero, was recruited by the Red Ribbon Army?
The answers to a few of these kind of jump out at me (In #6, for instance, it would probably mean the Saiyans wouldn't have come to Earth, making what happens between then and the arrival of the Androids/Cell paramount), but I'd like to hear the opinions of the experts as well!

i hate timezones. i almost missed this. and it was a good one. This was one of your absolute best what if's.
I always find myself intensely interested in these what if scenarios since it makes the story unfolding in circumstances we're not used to thinking about, as if the story was progressing the wrong way and the Z fighters were just surviving through the most miniscule of hopes for their abilities to survive each threat that comes. It's like the past and future connecting together, with the past having a dangerous cloud over their heads at all times simply because it meant their doom being written down the moment things didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. How small a change and such great an impact. Listening to your story, I (as always) was desperately hoping beyond hope that the Z fighters would survive and yet....it couldn't be so. It's always the Buu saga that breaks the backs of everyone and it irritates me each and every time.....makes me sad actually when I hear it. Fantastic video and I've got another one for you. Do: What if Cell became a good guy? Just a thought for talk really. Or how would Gohan dealing with the Majin Vegeta saga with Goku dead would work?

I really enjoyed this piece and thought it was well reasoned, it is also nice to know I'm not the only one who uses that particular guide, though with it in mind and Gohan's lack of passion for fighting I'm not sure he'd end up as the strongest or even necessarily second strongest without strong motivation.
I thought the Super Sonic Warriors, Piccolo What ifs story was how this woulda been taken.

I'm betting Piccolo would fight Vegeta, but not kill him. Piccolo has changed so much and took a lot of teaching from Goku, gohan, and of course the influence of Nail. He would defeat Vegeta, but not kill Vegeta.

That's completely true in a static timeline. However, DBZ already proved their version of time travel works on some sort of "multi-dimensional/multi-verse" logic.

I have one thing to say. What if he didn't kill vegeta because krillin and gohan talked him out of it? The reason why is because he saved their lives on multiple occasions and would say he changed. And what would happen then? Because piccolo wouldn't fuse with kami until after the fight with the androids or in the 3 year time span. And vegeta, goku, and gohan could eventually learn super saiyan because of the future timeline.
Great episode I have an interesting What If. What if Goku was late to namik and Recoome killed Gohan how would that effect the namik saga and the series as a whole.
Actually, I think Kami and Piccolo would have only fused as a last resort; Like, Everyone is dead and King Cold is about to blow the planet up. I think Goku would have gone Super Saiyan during THAT fight, and ultimately overpowered Cold. After that, he would have died from the heart virus, and we would have spiraled down into bad end.

Hey Qaaman can you do a video about why Krillin never went to King Kai's to train on one of his many trips to Otherworld and possibly about how strong he could have been if he had trained as hard as the others through out the series.
This video shows how much potential piccolo could've had if they hadn't pushed him to the side later on. piccolo is on my top 3 favorites and I would've like to see him rise as much as other person would've loved to see vegeta rise to the top as well. all in all, great theory and good points on how the outcome could've happen.
