Not even gonna lie man the narration at the end was actually bone chilling. Like actual goosebumps. "Namek was destroyed. A beautiful and terrble light shone in the darkness of space. Thus, the story of what might have happened to a fool obsessed with his own beauty, has come to it's tragic end." The thought of someone causing an entire planet, and everyone he knows, to blow up for the sake of being young and beautiful forever doesn't seem so far-fetched anymore.
Krillin really was the biggest troll in this what if! Zarbon actually makes nice with Goku only for Krillin to snatch life from him at the last second!!! XD
Plus side, Zarbon probably gets wished back afterwards as Goku would probably feel bad for leaving him to die, especially after he helped him fight Frieza

Zarbon would _maybe_ be around mid - high 20,000s in his transformed state. 1st form Frieza sits at a power level of 530,000. Half of 1st form Frieza’s power is 265,000. So Goku and Zarbon are still getting pressed. _However,_ nothing is stopping Goku from popping Kaioken x10 and caving in Frieza’s skull.

Honestly I really like the idea of Krillin deciding to join Zarbon and Dodoria when he realized they were after Vegeta, and finishing the job he didn't finish on earth.
I think the beauty of these what ifs in the Tenkaichi series are how it uses assets (characters, settings, plots) from the main series, it doesn't make up any fanfic stuff like forms or fusions or involve any OC character shenanigans like Xenoverse and UT It's just like What if we took Raditz and had him bonk his head, becoming a good boy It makes the what ifs feel more real to me, if that makes sense. Lookin forward to more Beautiful Treachery!

I feel like you clowns don't understand what "fan fic" means. If it has the backing of anyone who has an official licensing for Dragon Ball. Like the games, shows, manga, etc. By the words very definition, its not a fan fic you waste of oxygen.
I remember this What If being the weakest of the three (still decent) in this game, but by gosh, that opening made it sound far more interesting. 1:11 - It’s funny how well both this Dodoria statement and the Raditz statement fit into the What If’s through you winning overly hard battles you weren’t supposed to be able too. In those scenarios, you were indeed stronger than the game expected. 2:38 - Loving the narration of your fighting manoeuvres here. Gohan realised his Masenko only costs 2 energy bars and just started firing away every chance he got. 6:10 - Krillin’s eager to finish the job he never got to do back in the Saiyan Saga. 9:16 - You’re playing as Zarbon and yet acting like Vegeta; dominating this fight until you decided to a beam clash. 12:31 - Seems Zarbon is not the only one doing a bit of treachery; Cui doesn’t get killed by Vegeta and takes up a job offer from Cooler. 13:40 - Unless against giants, volley attacks never seemed all that useful. Death Beam costs less Ki and just went right through all that. 16:27 - To be fair, that was 5 or such fights in to this What If until you received a loss. It was a very different story to when you had to dedicate entire episodes to lone fights in Raditz story mode. 22:12 - Okay, forgot that part. That was clever thinking. A shame Goku’s about to head to warzone with no clue what is going on. 23:28 - Oh man, always hated when that happens. Some of these attacks just go on forever. 24:47 - That was amazing. The sheer desperation in your voice as you grasp victory from the jaws of defeat. Well done! 26:53 - Honestly, Goku probably didn’t even need to be asked. 28:48 - The true ultimate tag-team we never expected; Guldo and Dodoria. An yeah, seems Vegeta is the only Zarbon managed to successfully eliminate… though thinking about it, that was Krillin who did that.
Damn that was so good!!! Zarbon actually felt like a cool character here. Sure the motivation is simple but I was actually rooting for the guy. Good attention to detail too. In the end Zarbon was entangled by his own treachery. He was the one who caused the Cooler Freiza fight to happen. He was the one to turn on Dodoria and Guldo and it all came to bite him in the ass.
Transformation in bt2 is in the controls you just have to scroll all the way down to the bottom. But its usually r3 and a direction on the right or left stick if I remember right You can also hit someone away with a charged square attack then use a beam, or follow them with x or teleport with triangle
Please continue this series all the way to the end of the game doto, loving it, i grew up on this exact game and its amazing to see it get some attention nowadays since it gets overshadowed by bt3 alot
I think Goku fresh off the ship would still have trouble with 1s form Freeza. He was washing the ginyus, but remember how he got a FAT zenkai boost right after? He never faced freeza without it, and he was still getting absolutely dogwalked. Freeza wasn't trying for real until he turned super Saiyan, he was built different

I imagine Goku "fresh off the ship" vs First Form Frieza would look similar to the start of the canonical fight between Zenkai boost Goku and final form Frieza. So I think Frieza would kinda be toying with Goku.

This is crazy! I never played Budokai 2, just 1 and 3, so I never knew about these 'What If' stories. But this was compelling and really fun to watch! Again, I haven't played this game, so I don't know if this exists or not, but personally, I would love to play as Android 19 and 20 and be the main villains of the Android Saga, _like how Toryama originally wanted._
actually since goku got off the ship and straight to fighting frieza he wouldnt have had the massive zenkai boost from recovering from the fight with ginyu in his body and vegeta pounding it so its about right i'd say for baby form frieza as you put it, either way though Zarbon's VA is a GOAT for this performance thats for damn sure
I was just thinking that. It was the beating from Vegeta that gave him the zenkai that pushed Goku to 3 mill. At this point he wasn't even 200 mill WITH Kaioken running.
So this will sound a bit vague because it's been a while and I've only seen it in German but there is this thing in the main menu (probably) where you can fuse Z-Objects. This is needed for some of the more powerful equipables, but also for something that is likely more interessting: New characters. You don't unlock everyone by just playing the story, sometimes you gotta fuse. For example, fuse any Sayain with a tail and the powerball/fake moon amd youll get the Great Ape version (Yes, you could've had a Great Ape Raditz). And if I remember right you also unlock Zarbon's transformation this way. So you could have had an easier if you had wanted

Goku fought captain Ginyu when he arrived. Stuff happened, his body vot wrecked, then a zenkai boost in the healing pod. Still, he should be at least 3rd form freeza in power...
Doto you should adjust the deadzones on your controllers in the settings for the Emulator, newer controls dont recognize stick waggling anymore that easily.
Krillin really carried in this what if, helped fend of Dodoria, helped find and defeat Vegeta, finding the dragonballs, not to mention the scamming of Zarbon and wishing Goku back to Earth.
Zarbon is exactly the kind of character who, like Raditz, deserved to survive to be a villain of his own saga. His character was wasted on being just another Vegeta kill. No other Frieza elite has eclipsed him as far as design and characterization.
The only thing that sucks about this what ifs is that people keep coming back after supposedly dying. Zarbon really SUCKS at killing. He really needs to learn to double tap.

I imagine Goku "fresh off the ship" vs First Form Frieza would look similar to the start of the canonical fight between Zenkai boost Goku and final form Frieza. So I think Frieza would kinda be toying with Goku.

Again, I haven't played this game, so I don't know if this exists or not, but personally, I would love to play as Android 19 and 20 and be the main villains of the Android Saga, _like how Toryama originally wanted._

actually since goku got off the ship and straight to fighting frieza he wouldnt have had the massive zenkai boost from recovering from the fight with ginyu in his body and vegeta pounding it so its about right i'd say for baby form frieza as you put it, either way though Zarbon's VA is a GOAT for this performance thats for damn sure
I was just thinking that. It was the beating from Vegeta that gave him the zenkai that pushed Goku to 3 mill. At this point he wasn't even 200 mill WITH Kaioken running.

So this will sound a bit vague because it's been a while and I've only seen it in German but there is this thing in the main menu (probably) where you can fuse Z-Objects.
This is needed for some of the more powerful equipables, but also for something that is likely more interessting: New characters.
You don't unlock everyone by just playing the story, sometimes you gotta fuse. For example, fuse any Sayain with a tail and the powerball/fake moon amd youll get the Great Ape version (Yes, you could've had a Great Ape Raditz). And if I remember right you also unlock Zarbon's transformation this way.
So you could have had an easier if you had wanted

Zarbon is exactly the kind of character who, like Raditz, deserved to survive to be a villain of his own saga. His character was wasted on being just another Vegeta kill. No other Frieza elite has eclipsed him as far as design and characterization.
The only thing that sucks about this what ifs is that people keep coming back after supposedly dying.
Zarbon really SUCKS at killing. He really needs to learn to double tap.
