He's already a good leader with a good head on his gigantic shoulders, but with the Big Gete Star, instead of destroying the planets he could absorb them and get stronger the longer he does his job. And on top of that, he can have an army of clones doing various tasks around the universe and keep it safe from new evil threats. The only way you'd actually have a chance to kill him would be to kill the supreme kai, but he'd probably already have one of his best clones act as a bodyguard to them so there'd be no hope in that plan. In the end, Cooler would become the strongest of the G.O.Ds. He'll definitely put universe 7 on the right track to becoming one of, if not the best universe in the multiverse. And he'll look *cool* while doing in.

It's amazing to think this went from a somewhat odd pick, to having Good!Cooler straight up become one of the recurring characters across Salad's channel. Seriously outside of his own series, he's appeared in: What if Goku was evil, the What-if T.o.P 2, the Cell Prime saga, AND has a dedicated continuation to his scenario in the works. Like, I think he's the character Salad's used the most in terms of how many scenarios he's appeared in and taken a part of.

He was basically the strongest up until investigating what happened to his brother and in the end fighting good guys gets kind of monotonous with how they are always all Peace this, Justice that... when you fight evil you get to hear all the hilariously weird motivations like "I want to drain this planet's life with a tree!", "I want to kill this guy because he cried all the time when we were babies!", or even "I want to go on a road trip that destroys everywhere we go!" Cooler could fight for good, but revel in how dumb evil actually is these days and just keep sarcastically pointing out flaws in the villain's plans while tearing them apart and educating them about how he always did better.

As for when Cooler goes against Frieza in Resurrection F I'd have seen one of his dialogue be, "Unlike you Brother I understand the concept of training much better. And also unlike you brother, I had much more practice maintaining my Platinum form."
Quick note, you said Frieza chose gold on a whim for his form color, but this is incorrect, he chose gold to mock Goku, using a form of the same color as Super Saiyan to kill him.
He said COOLERS transformation was on a whim not freizas. Cooler got the transformation out of nowhere just to break free of babadis control, so he didn’t have the luxury of choosing a color.

I want to see cooler and raditz form like the older brother team and they just kind of hang out cuz they're similar and that forces Frieza and Goku to hang out as well often while cooler and raditz just getting to all kinds of crazy shenanigans together as part of a series
Similar to mine. Although my Cooler is actually a bit kinder. You see having to train in order to keep up with Frieza who never and/or rarely ever had to train made him more empathetic to those who tried to get stronger regardless of how weak they were. He could see the potential and even encouraged his soliders to train. He was also a bit more liked by the saiyans than his brother which is another reason Frieza destroyed their planet.
This is up there with "What if Frieza raised Kakarot?", "What if Roshi wished for his youth?", and "What if Bardock and Gine survived?" in my top 5 What-Ifs
I wish we heard more details of coolers life on earth. Like when he first met Videl and she most likely will react in shock before thinking he looks cool. And their interactions in their daily lives but I get this is carthus storytelling style. Not complaining btw we get very well made content. Just different. And I like it.
Personally considering his platinum form and the addition of the core I would consider the ending version to be royal metal cooler a combination of everything so far
Really liked how this story turned out, and it got me thinking: What if Cooler was in Resurrection 'F'? Let's face it: the original plot is pretty dull, so having Cooler introduced there would definitely spice up the story, having taken over the Frieza Force after the death of Frieza and King Cold. Years have passed, with him just minding his own business...until he hears about Lord Beerus training 2 Saiyans; knowing the Saiyans had killed his brother and father, he wants revenge, but instead of going for a preemptive strike, he feels it might be smarter to revive Frieza and King Cold; the Frieza Force (or Cooler Force in this case) gather the Dragon Balls to bring them back, with the Pilaf Gang only getting one wish. They're hesitant about Cooler, but he catches them up to speed about all that happened, and even though they hate the idea of training, they see no other option; they still train for 4 months, but with 3 strong people training together, they see astonishing gains, with Frieza being much stronger than in the original story, as well as King Cold and Cooler being around the same strength; turns out, developing and getting stronger at a rapid pace is a natural trait for their species (none of that "Frieza-being-a-mutant nonsense). This would definitely make things harder for everyone on Earth.
@Vyorus Well, they could bust out the Potara fusion as a last resort and be quick about it, since their base as Vegito would be able to match them, I assume, and just Super Saiyan Vegito alone would be enough to kill them. Of course, being Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta would want to fight without fusing first, even if it's 2v3.
Cooler is the best villain ever made next to Broly and Janemba. He has the capability of so much depth in his character and potential hope he shows up in Dragon Ball Super with his own movie

I love this concept of cooler turning good because It reminds me of how much potential he has and how strong he could have been if he was canon and good. Its surprising because I always forget about cooler but cooler in the series if he was canon and started training,fighting stronger opponents he could have been stronger than goku,vegeta,gohan,freiza and cell. I hate how they didn't make him canon and even though im only 51 minutes in I love this what if
"What if Goku started learning Ultra Instinct already as a child?" Okay, I know it sounds like bizarre speed run April Fool one but hear me out Salad. It starts with Goku using it as just a technique without transformation, basically what he learned in training with Whis right before meeting Granolah, so we eliminating the whole "body can't handle it" issue. Also, I know UI does give power boost but we're mostly focusing on how it changes and improves Goku's technique, reflex and evasion capability rather than strength and power. Then much later in the story he learns UI Sign and again, later the complete version. Also in this, Goku never learns Super Saiyan. He takes completely different path. Vegeta becomes the Super Saiyan first like he dreamed but it doesn't put him above Goku as an ultimate Saiyan like he thought, because Goku still keeps up with him but through different way. There's still animosity and rivalry but it's different than the original, Vegeta isn't frustrated because Goku "stole" his rightful role but rather because he can match him without doing so.
With the metal cooler abilities added to normal cooler now, the whole concept only now made me think of the Devil Gundam from G Gundam Cooler is a host like Kyoji and both machines evolve, even though one is more biological. And whereas Cooler is a merged user of it, Kyoji is a possessed host, an empty pilot. And then I proceeded to imagine the most hilarious idea of "What if Goku was an engineer?" And came up with him landing by Bulma, she had interest in him and somewhat raised him, and as Goku lives with her, he becomes more interested in technology than martial arts. Hey it's one way to get God Gundam vs Vegeta, riiiiiiggghhhtttt?

And their interactions in their daily lives but I get this is carthus storytelling style. Not complaining btw we get very well made content. Just different. And I like it.

Really liked how this story turned out, and it got me thinking: What if Cooler was in Resurrection 'F'?
Let's face it: the original plot is pretty dull, so having Cooler introduced there would definitely spice up the story, having taken over the Frieza Force after the death of Frieza and King Cold. Years have passed, with him just minding his own business...until he hears about Lord Beerus training 2 Saiyans; knowing the Saiyans had killed his brother and father, he wants revenge, but instead of going for a preemptive strike, he feels it might be smarter to revive Frieza and King Cold; the Frieza Force (or Cooler Force in this case) gather the Dragon Balls to bring them back, with the Pilaf Gang only getting one wish.
They're hesitant about Cooler, but he catches them up to speed about all that happened, and even though they hate the idea of training, they see no other option; they still train for 4 months, but with 3 strong people training together, they see astonishing gains, with Frieza being much stronger than in the original story, as well as King Cold and Cooler being around the same strength; turns out, developing and getting stronger at a rapid pace is a natural trait for their species (none of that "Frieza-being-a-mutant nonsense).
This would definitely make things harder for everyone on Earth.

@Vyorus Well, they could bust out the Potara fusion as a last resort and be quick about it, since their base as Vegito would be able to match them, I assume, and just Super Saiyan Vegito alone would be enough to kill them.
Of course, being Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta would want to fight without fusing first, even if it's 2v3.

I love this concept of cooler turning good because It reminds me of how much potential he has and how strong he could have been if he was canon and good. Its surprising because I always forget about cooler but cooler in the series if he was canon and started training,fighting stronger opponents he could have been stronger than goku,vegeta,gohan,freiza and cell. I hate how they didn't make him canon and even though im only 51 minutes in I love this what if

Okay, I know it sounds like bizarre speed run April Fool one but hear me out Salad. It starts with Goku using it as just a technique without transformation, basically what he learned in training with Whis right before meeting Granolah, so we eliminating the whole "body can't handle it" issue. Also, I know UI does give power boost but we're mostly focusing on how it changes and improves Goku's technique, reflex and evasion capability rather than strength and power. Then much later in the story he learns UI Sign and again, later the complete version.
Also in this, Goku never learns Super Saiyan. He takes completely different path. Vegeta becomes the Super Saiyan first like he dreamed but it doesn't put him above Goku as an ultimate Saiyan like he thought, because Goku still keeps up with him but through different way. There's still animosity and rivalry but it's different than the original, Vegeta isn't frustrated because Goku "stole" his rightful role but rather because he can match him without doing so.

This is a really solid fan fiction. I would read this DB alternate universe if it was made into a series.
With the metal cooler abilities added to normal cooler now, the whole concept only now made me think of the Devil Gundam from G Gundam
Cooler is a host like Kyoji and both machines evolve, even though one is more biological. And whereas Cooler is a merged user of it, Kyoji is a possessed host, an empty pilot.
And then I proceeded to imagine the most hilarious idea of "What if Goku was an engineer?" And came up with him landing by Bulma, she had interest in him and somewhat raised him, and as Goku lives with her, he becomes more interested in technology than martial arts. Hey it's one way to get God Gundam vs Vegeta, riiiiiiggghhhtttt?

I can’t believe cooler and frieza are literally a Terraria reference. Replace the two of them with separate worlds. One had platinum as its ore and the other had gold as its specific ore. Cooler has a final form that makes him more powerful like a boss, and frieza is like a mini skeletron-prime with the 4 different forms acting like the 4 arms

The context and characteristics of this cooler matches that of the Cooler from Super dragon ball heroes whose teamed up with trunks. He is more like an anti-hero, cares for those he works with and is way more easily the better person to follow orders from.

The comment about how Cooler and Vegeta act like best friends when trying to please Lord Beerus made me think of Natsu and Grey from Fairy Tail and how they act around Erza during the Eisenwald arc.
