This series was very fun to make! It was probably one of the strangest concepts that’s been suggested so far, but I’m glad that so many of you ended up enjoying it since I basically just made a new character and put him in the story 😅 Maybe the Salad Jrs will return? Who knows 🗿

Man I know that "Salad" was a fan made character but still ended up shedding a few tears because of his noble sacrifice. This just goes to show how beautifully the story was made and how much time was put in to making it. This was truly a masterpiece. I was initially skeptical about this story since that I thought you would make "Salad" extremely OP but nope, you made him very nicely balanced. That just goes to show how professional you are!! Keep up these "what ifs" please!!

Ending was a 15/10. Love that Goten, Trunks, and the Salad Jr’s. are the future for the Z warriors. Just a thought in case you expand on it: The Salad Jr’s. could each focus on an individual part of Salad. For example, the Green one (sorry, I forgot all the names 😅) could focus more on namekian, the red one more of Frieza, and the blue one is more saiyan. Just thought that would be interesting. And maybe they could all fuse (temporarily of course) into basically Salad but it has some drawback or whatever. Idk it’s just an idea. Feel like you could definitely do something there though! Regardless, amazing story!

A beautiful self-insert story. One of the best I've seen alongside Carthu's Dojo self-insert. I admit I was concerned about the inherent OP nature of a Cell like being, but you balanced it beautifully 💜. Especially the ending. My gosh that last arc was incredible!
I'm only interested in this going into GT because you saved some Salad Jr's. It could be re-named with the original name mentioned in the description of the video. It's like... A new generation of Androids! This has a lot of potential if you give then all separate personalities and abilities. Maybe because Salad was so well developed, the potential will be around Goten/Trunks level.

This was really good. I expected it to be the same thing with the other series, but this time, salad really took advantage of a what if. By making his own arc instead of going with the original. Salad was able to improve the story so much in terms of plot and world building. I hope other series follows like this with self made arcs and not just what many do already.
Thank you for all the work for the series and it was 10/10, the best series that I have watched so far.
When I saw the separate parts I was a bit worried that you were going into the overpowered self insert realm and didn’t want to watch until you had it fully made but holy fuck this was actually really well written. only critique was that maybe salad could have had more fear & anxiety/insecurity early on especially when first faced with gero, but this is still really good especially with the finale
This was an amazing series and this was a perfect way for overpowered character to fulfill their purpose in a more conventional way by earning a hero's death; leaving it behind a future for the Next Generation. Good inspiration for me when I create an OC for an alternate story; Thank You 💜
Also technically, if he needs a life, he can just create a salad jr. Sure it is despicable. A life created just to be sacrificed, but it is a life. I mean I get the part where the MC wants to ride off into the sunset
It won't actually be that effective since the Salad Junior that he would sacrifice would be too weak to meet the requirements of the Wish.

When the million special comes around someday, I think a Tournament of Power esque thing between tons of your most popular what-ifs would be spectacular. Just imagine Namekian Broly squaring up against Salad, or LSSJ Vegeta against reprogrammed Cell, or Good Super Buu against Super Saiyan 4 Gohan. So many possibilities, it sounds so fun and *difficult to make lmao* , But I would love to see it when you eventually reach 1 Million.

Kanye in Dragon Ball: Frieza was a good person
So, is it safe to assume that since Salad gave his life for such a powerful wish, that it would be beyond the other dragons powers to bring him back basically implying that he wasnt just 'killed' but Erased?
The problem with that is, the Super Dragon Balls are shown to have the ability to bring back erased people that were erased by Zeno himself. I doubt that the Cerealan Dragon Balls would be able to keep Salad dead if they wished on the Super Dragonballs.

Missed Opportunity: Revive Salad using the Super Dragon Balls.
And if you want to make this scenario more thrilling and somewhat dramatic, you could establish a different type of Tournament of Power but instead of it being about saving each other's universes, it's instead just for fun and to win the Super Dragon Balls.
But then Zeno would erase everyone, unless the universes were motivated by the strength of the other universes and raised their quality and power level average

you probably won't see this but the ending made me cry bro. we need the continuation of this story with the salad junior's.
Maybe it doesn't have to end here. Maybe there's more journeys to come. Specifically three. Maybe each one of the Salad Brothers can go down different paths, with one going down a Saiyan route, another going down the Cold transformations, and the last using Namekian powers. What do you think, Salad? Three different sequels to this series?

DUUUUDE that was crazy! I watched the entire thing through on the edge of my seat! I'm kinda sad that you skipped over the Uni6 tourney and the tournament of power, but the execution of the rest of the story was near flawless. I hope you continue the story into GT.
Hahahaha! This is actually the best self-insert i've ever heard. You actually put yourself in DBZ, and knew how to make it efficient, logical, and not too op. Really well done, Salad. I know I am a year late with this, but I would love to see you continue on into GT with this. It would be awesome to see this be done.

I don't know if the parts would influence him too much, I feel like he would feel weird but he wouldn't let it overtake him. Like think about it what's gonna have more influence, a couple of android parts or hundreds of thousands of namekians? Ok he's a bio android and absorbed android parts so it might have more influence and maybe tied together easier but still.
It's more like, a couple dozen namekians at the absolute most. You gotta remember, it was just the warriors, and the whole of the namek population wasnt that high to begin with, probably barely even 100. The androids, being inherently stronger, hardwired into Salad's system, and personally designed by Gero to essentially hack him, are gonna have more influence.
(Edited cause I did a bit of research and at the time, namek had a population of just about 100)

this is LEGENDARY this is easily my favourite what if ever (and i have seen good ones) i really want you to make a what if about his kids and maybe you could implement dragon ball super heroes story now that will be truly godly
I'd personally love to see GT with Salad's children but funnily enough I don't know what the Shadow Dragons have to be mad about now. Shenron has been killed and revived so much in this What If that I don't think even Syn can really talk shit about them being selfish anymore. Still with a much more powerful Vegeta Goku and Gohan I feel like Baby could be way more interesting. Maybe a small cameo from a buffed Salad at the end, but sadly enough I think everyone would be so pissed after what went on the past 15 Years that I am not sure even if Goku was made into a child if he wouldn't just steamroll. I mean they already have knowledge of Super Saiyan 4 so they really could just cheat and have it already. I propose instead of Uub being Goku's Student and that's the end of that, maybe Salad's kids would become Vegeta and Gohan's?
Maybe if you can figure out a way to put the TOP 10 Years later we could have a really cool arc for GT instead of the Black Star Dragon Balls dragging on for so long?

Salad in this what if literally plays the role of emerl from sonic battle, an android created for evil purposes turning into a lovable good boy with copying abilities that grows exponentially over time who eventually has to do the ultimate sacrifice in order to save all the people who helped him grow and find himself

amazing series with a really cool concept. it is way better then the other "what if i was in DB" fan series i have seen for sure.
i would LOVE a continuation to this. going into GT would probably be the best bet tho, as the use of Dragon Balls in the end is the perfect way to start it off.
seeing the Salad Jr's gain their own personalities and split in powers and abilities would also make a lot of sense. you could also ad in a Super Android as well with Gero in hell and all that.
but yeah, i would love a continuation. this was awesome, and i am looking forward to what else you can come up with.

I'm pretty sure, in a way. Salad himself became the super dragon balls. There is no more body and I'm pretty certain his soul was used as the catalyst to restore them. Good theory, but ultimately, I dont think it would work

I really like this story. It has an authentic feel to it while still having some fan fic elements along with some fan service. Plus, Salad Saiyan is a good story teller.

I love it when What Ifs cut the Buu Saga out of the story. I always hated the Buu saga. I like the ending of it and Vegito sure but it isn't my favorite.

He Comes In As a Hero , And Because of That He Would Have To Protect Those Who Can Not Protect Themselves, And Defeat An Enemy You Have To Make Them Your Friend. And Remember This Never Put Off Tomorrow Until What Can Be Done Today And If You Don't Finish What Can Be Done Today There Won't Be A Tomorrow. And That's how I Would Describe The Bio-Android Salad To Be That way, A Hero To Protect Those Who Cannot Protect Themselves.

Salad truely is perfection. The ultimate, ever growing warrior, and smarts too! Imagine what he could do if he also had data on magic like Buu and Guildo or even the ability to create Dragonballs, his would be way stronger than the super dragonballs Oo probably way too op to balance into a story tho.
But 1 thought remains: Isnt this his 1st death? Could he not be revived easily?
From what I can tell, he didn't go to the afterlife. His whole soul and essence was erased and absorbed by the Cerealian Dragon to be used to remake the Super Dragon Balls. That means that it is possible even the Super Dragon Balls could not restore him, as we don't know if erased people can be restored by them, even with the unlimited power of them. But, I believe he did not want to come back; he wanted to go out with style.
