The best part is having Doc Emrick narrate.

The first Stanley Cup Final since 1964 to not feature either the Canadiens, Islanders, Flames, Oilers, Flyers or Bruins. Also, the last Cup Final to end before the month of June, first all-American Cup Final since 1981 (the last time the North Stars were in the Final), first Cup Final since 1982 not to feature either Alberta teams (Oilers and Flames) and first American team to win the Cup since 1983.

Bob Johnson also became the first american coach to win the Stanley Cup.. Plus it was the first time the Final featured 2 teams from the 1967 expansion, and still never happened again as of 2024

Bob Johnson and Scotty Bowman could not have been more different. I wonder what Bowman thought of Johnson's style.

People always say the Stars were no match for the Penguins, this Stars team could have been top 5 in the standings if they tried all year. The Stars only earned 1 less point than the Pens in the 2nd half of the regular season

The beginning video music is garbage. This takes you into each series. Where as today’s focuses on the Champions only. Not sure which I like better?
