    Bill Barilko disappeared that summer. He was on a fishing trip. The last goal he ever scored won the Leafs the cup. They didn't win another till 1962. The year he was discovered.

    I appreciate the use of the Canadian calls on most of these. Bob Cole, Jim Hughson, Craig Simpson, I love their voices. And CBC and Sportsnet always seem to mic the crowd better than their american counterpart.

    I remember watching that game between Pittsburgh and Nashville with it being 0-0 and I said to myself, "Wouldn't it be funny if Patric Hörnqvist gets the Cup-winning goal against his former team?" Within a minute, he did! 😂

    Not everyone remembers that the Hawks had a great chance of a three peat. In 2014 they lost game 7 at home in overtime to the Kings. Had they won that game, they would’ve most likely beaten the Rangers.

      BTW.. AVS fan... In my bracket, we (Boston) is playing you in the cup final this year. I don't recall any time that we played each other for the cup? It would be a good matchup.

      The score was 6-2 in the end so even though the 3rd goal (an own goal) was the game winning goal, it didn't really matter that much.
