We were on the Mardi Gras a few weeks ago and really agree with you on the food. A lot better than I expected.

Damajuaga Falls still remains our favorite excursion out of 13 cruises. I didn’t want to do that big jump, but I was able to overcome my fear and do it !

My wife and I really enjoyed your videos on your first carnival cruise. I'm glad you were honest and open to everything. If you plan on going to another Carnival cruise. I recommend their new ship coming out this year called jubilee. Is their sister ship to Celebration and Mardi Gras. I think it will be shipping off from Texas.

I’m getting on her in March. These Excel class ships seem to be the future for Carnival. I wouldn’t be surprised if they phase out their Fantasy and Sunrise class in the next decade.
I have never been on Royal yet and would love to go sometime
We wish the cruise lines would spend some money on making some great “mega” small ships so we can get to those amazing smaller ports, but still have that amazing onboard experience!

@@ryanandkala if you have the opportunity I would try to get on the Fantasy or Elation soon just to compare to the mega ships. I don’t think Carnival will get rid of a lot of their ships, just their oldest. They still have a lot of ships that would be considered mid-sized or small compared to the Royal Line up
Ya we noticed carnival has a ton of smaller ships and can get into way cooler ports! I’m not mad about that haha!

Love the in-depth videos! You and Kayla are so much fun to watch :) - can't wait for my fiance and I to set sail on the Mardi Gras this November for our honeymoon, the food looks great! It was a big selling point for us to have such a great variety of food and with most of it included in the cost of the cruise.

We were on Mardi gras and went to Emerils every day for breakfast and good coffee a small up charge but we had a table for 2 alwaysloling forward to two weeks on Celebration in Oct

Love you guys! I really want to try this ship! Me and my husband go on the oasis of the sea for the first time in Dec for our 25th anniversary . I heard you don't see the water much on that ship. Do you have any suggestions? Have you been on Oasis class ships?
Thank you so much! Oasis class ships are amazing!! We've been on the Symphony and we're going to vlog an Oasis cruise in September so you'll be able to see! There is no nice aft pool with a nice view or anything like the Patio Pool on the Celebration. There is the Solarium that has a nice view but it's covered, there's also just lounging on the top area of the Lido deck. My general suggestion would be to try to get the 3 night dining package if it's in the budget. The food is so good on the Oasis class they have so many options and the Central park area is beautiful. We also remember the entertainment being so much better, we really enjoyed the Aqua Theatre shows, Comedy club and piano bar. You're going to have a blast!!
What kind of gluten free options are on the carnival celebration my girlfriend can’t eat gluten at all.
There’s so many GF options on board! My life is more complex because I am also a vegetarian! But almost anything can be made GF on the menu as long as you let your wait staff know in advance.
The deco deli had GF bread to make sandwiches, the Miami slice had GF pizza cooked on separate pans so no cross contamination and the Main Dining room is great for allergies as well. Cucina capitano and Cha bang were also amazing for GF option!
Trust me there’s a ton for her to have! :)

If you should sail on other Carnival ship other than the Mardi Gras. They are alot laid out so differently then the Celebration and Mardi Gras. They are still really nice. But Iaid out very differently. I live in Jacksonville. We have the Carnival Elation. Its the smallest ship in the fleet. But a nice ship. Very clean and very easy to get around.
Ya I could imagine, we really enjoyed the Central area and the tides pool on the aft which I'd assume is not there on the smaller ships. We'd really like to explore some of the other great ships over time. Thanks for sharing! ☀️🍻😎
I love that place, I wish I could go back, all the staff was nice and most of the stuff was really exciting and fun, I love it because of how cool the ride bolt, it was so good and all the food, especially the ice cream and pizza , but overall 100% 10/10

Does big chicken have a grilled chicken option. That’s our next ship . I’m not gluten free but low carb, no bread, no pasta, no rice and no sugar or flour
I don’t remember seeing a grilled chicken option on the menu, however that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist!

Yes! Mocktails or non-alcoholic drinks are covered with the Cheers package!

Did they do a belly flop contest?
They didn't! I feel like I read somewhere that they have stopped doing this on Carnival. They still do one on Royal though, usually a pretty good laugh ☀️🍻😎
Is the ticket all inclusive or do you have to pay for the food everytime
I'm not exactly sure what ticket you're referring to. The cruise food is all inclusive except for the specialty dining restaurants. Hope that answers your question just let me know if you meant something else! ☀️😎🍻
The Steakhouse is an up charge and I think Bonsai may be as well, but most of the food places on Carnival ships are included.

My first ever Carnival cruise was on the Ecstasy in 1993. As soon as I saw the Rolls Royce at the beginning of this video I quite literary gasped. I think I need to see it again. Booking a B2B for Jan/Feb 2026.
