    Pumping in air is a *very good* idea, otherwise the flame almost always finds its way back to the source of the HHO gas and YOU DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. It happened to me twice and I can seriously sY I am lucky to still have both my hearing and my eye-sight. No joke!

    • @prebenolsen4978

      I guess that's the point with the water break before the stove outlet. It stops the gas, igniting backwards through the tube. The extra air pressure forward would also help as you say.

    As I am watching this, I am reminded that you are supposed to make your inlets go nearly all the way to the bottom of the containers. It keeps the flame arrester you made with the pink lid working properly and it also agitates your salt water mix to increase the efficiency of the electrolysis over the span it's used. Personally I would have had a reserve tank of water feeding into the green lid container instead of introducing atmospheric pressure to the system that is not needed. Good that you utilized a method to cook without needing natural gas or petroleum in vapor form. Can't call it inventing, though. Innovating, however, is apt to call it. And it is very much so innovating. Good on you for it.

    Just a small point .... That is Not Hydrogen it is Browns Gas.
    Basically a mix of Hydrogen and Oxygen in a 2-1 ratio!
    If you are using DC voltage you can separate the O2 and the H2 by dividing the gas from each of the plates. AC will give you both gasses from both plates!

      HHO *is* hydrogen, mixed with oxidizer. and that ratio is a perfect explosive mixture for hydrogen.

      No. You need a completely different setup to separate Hydrogen from oxygen. Also these kind of experiments use always DC. DC is also, what he gets from his solar panel.

      Look up Joecell. There you find all the videos going into more detail. You are right - electrodes must be very close. And!!! - they can be very small, like a razorblade. Every 2 electrodes can process 2 volts. So you stack the electrodes in a row. This produces loads of HHO. Enough to power cars and generators!

    If you are looking to conserve energy or money, just use the electricity that goes into splitting water, and apply it directly to a resistance heater immersed in the water you want to heat. Every time you convert energy from one form to another, you lose some of it to inefficiencies. Think about all the hot air rising around your pot and not heating it (If this video were even real). Not to even mention all the wasted heat generated in the water jar with the highly inefficient process of electrolosis. Trust me on this; you will heat the water faster by just good old fashioned electrical resistance. If you want to get from point A to point B, you can score a lot of style points by running in a fancy pattern and spelling words with your footsteps through the sand, but there simply is not a faster way to get from point A to point B than just a good old fashioned straight line. Besides, this video shows one single tube coming out of the jar, so it would contain both hydrogen and oxygen, which ais an EXTREMELY flammable mixture! It would NOT burn with a soft yellow flame! A yellow flame is not even possible by splitting water, unless you are dissolving massive quantities of anode metal and separating the oxygen from the hydrogen. Done like this, the mixture would EXPLODE at supersonic speed as soon as you light it, and would instantly turn that jar into a shred of plastic shrapnel that would imbed itself into all nearby objects! Do not do this experiment like this video shows, unless you like losing your hearing and your eyesight! Extremely dangerous!

    You produces HHO which is highly detonable gaz. The fan dryer saved you (avoided flame to go back to recipient and produce explosion 😂). Very high DEGREE FLAME. 2300 degrees. Almost invisible flame. I am surprised it doesn't melt stove or pan. I would isolate H from O2 and use hydrogen only for more safety.

Smoke and mirrors, slight of hand and all of that. Good job though i watched the whole video. Your thumbnail did it for me, click bait. Also I'm not sure how you got the HHO gas to stay lit like you did the first time you lit it, could you please explain that little display of dishonesty? I mean the flame was yellow and everything. Lol

    What about the cost of power to produce the hydrogen from electrolysis? probably cheaper to use the electricity direct to produce heat on an electrical heater

    • @aurasensor
      @aurasensor Месяц назад

      Cost him only the solar panels. Think man! He drives his stove on 72 Watts!!!

  • @seanedwards569
    @seanedwards569 5 месяцев назад

    1. This process is called Electrolysis.
    2. Electrolysis does not generate hydrogen. It divides dihydrogen monoxide into the two components: hydrogen and oxygen.
    3. Heat, fire in this case, does not just burn the hydrogen. In this process, the he helium adds an extra neutron to the core, creating an H-2 atom (deuterium), not the H-1. When the H-2 atom bonds with the oxygen atom (O), it does not create water (H2O). Instead it creates deuterium oxide (heavy water), which has different physical properties from water.
    4. Much energy is wasted by the hair dryer. A more efficient continuous air pump would be a better use of energy. Rechargeable or not, the amps drawn by the fan will quickly bring heat and death on the batteries.

    I was really nervous at 15:54 about lighting that gas, as I imagined it might possibly burn back into the bottle itself and explode. The gas produced by those plates is entirely a mix of hydrogen and oxygen. If it weren't diluted and propelled by the hair dryer to move quickly through the tube to its exit into the atmosphere, ugh... That would not have ended well.
    If anyone builds something like this, please think it through. You don't want any potential for blowback/explosion. It would be wise to use a secondary isolation device (like the simple water bubbler) BEFORE you test it with a flame!
    Also, to be able to regulate the proportion of air introduced by the blower device relative to the gas mix produced may be helpful.
    And one more thing: What would happen if one were to put a bit of copper sulfate into the bubbler water? I'm wondering if it would introduce enough into the vapor stream to produce a colored flame? Or would something else work better? And would copper sulfate create or become something hazardous to inhale? The real question is: Is there a very simple and safe method to cause the flame in the final combustion to become more visible?

      A simple flashback arrester goes in between the burner and the final bubbler.

      You can try a cigarette filter as a flashback arrestor in the tube which connects to the stove

    That is not HHO Gas on fire. That is a clear liquid fuel with a hairdryer fan motor blowing across, picking up the fumes with your electrolysis inside, simulating its water when it is not.

    The reaction is probably consuming the aluminum plates, producing aluminum oxide and releasing H2. The salt was added to increase current flow and may act as a catalyst aid in oxidizing the aluminum. That means you would need a constant supply of aluminum to keep this going. And please... Enough of the HHO crap.

    Unfortunately the hairblower will switched of after 5 minutes due to the activation of the overheat mechanism, and it wil take you 5 minutes to cooldown and this will be its intermittent behavior, you will be only able to fry a egg.

    lo malo de eso es que gasta luz para la batería y gastas luz de las pilas de la secadora es mejor que te compres una parrilla eléctrica menos show y menos peligros de explosiones 😊

      I use solar energy and the hair dryer does not consume a lot of energy. Its battery lasts for several days or approximately a month.
