Homemade portable stove based in the old petrol-powered camping stoves, wich have a feeding system with a separated reservoir. I made this one alcohol powered because of soot reasons. It's not perfect like de Tetkoba's ones, but it's efficient and functional.
This is made out basically from garbage - soda and deodorant cans, a tube from a folding clothesline and pieces of scrap steel.
It's the evolution of my "super successful" alcohol burner.

You are so smart. I watch alot of different videos like this. And I am always so blown away at the things you create. The blade holder is absolutely the best thing I have ever seen. Definitely using that lil gem. But this alcohol stove is really cool. I only wish I could have been this smart back when I was younger. I can make things to assist on whatever I am working on but nothing at the level you share. Thank you for these videos. I enjoy watching them. Even with the no talking. Makes you pay attention lol.

Very nice, this is the same principle as my old "Turm Sport" backpacker's stove from the 1950's that still works great to this day. I've built some like this and done some experimentation as well. I discovered that the bigger the circumference of the burner, the larger the flames are likely to be because more alcohol will be vaporized in the tube. Also, a small round piece of thin steel on top of the primer dish will reflect some more heat down to the vaporizer tube, increasing the flame size. Pure (denatured) alcohol works best, there is no water in it...but it's more expensive. It's also good practice to burn off any remaining alcohol in the tube when you're done using it and ready to store it for awhile just to prevent any corrosion, especially with the cheaper alcohol and using aluminum instead of brass tube. Also, cork seals made from automobile gaskets work great for alcohol. It sneaks right past rubber seals unless they are absolutely precision fit, but cork will swell up when it gets wet with the alcohol, and solves that problem. Cool video, thank you for sharing this! Peace :)

Really Great video thanks. I noted in another channel, making a different alcohol burner, that they packed the reservoir with a wicking material so that if the stove gets knocked over you don't get a puddle of fuel released. Of course, that would make it more difficult to enjoy the reservoir of you don't burn all the fuel but is with considering.

Thanks for the great idea of a fixture to cut a thin-walled metal cylinder smoothly and safely! It's much better, neater and faster than to mark with a marker, punch holes and then cut with scissors, as is done in many videos on a similar topic. Plus, the scissors, if they are not metal scissors, will have to be sharpened. That's a good way to do it. Truth be told, though, I would still work with thin cloth gloves to protect my hands from accidental cutting.

Also a clean finger with saliva or liquid soap works wonders to get a smooth professional bead of silicone instead of a stick. To get the silicone off get a small bowl of plain cooking flour and go outside and pretend you are soaping yuour hands to wash them it will pick up the flour and make a silicone dough and fall right off your hands leaving them all soft and clean :)

This design is nice, yet two disadvantages: its fix and place consuming, good for an off grid cabin but not for a pack. Id suggest a flex tube after a bit of aluminum.
Also the side connection needs to be better designed. Ide suggest a double sided connection.

Assembly of burner element as shown at 8:15 requires a tool of the right diameter with close tolerances, and still risks cracking or deformation during use. You can utilize thermal expansion to easily slip one over the other, by cooling one half and heating the other immediately prior to the final fit.
