The Thomas and Friends show is surprisingly dark. One train dies from falling into a lake, one is so old that he was taken apart for scrap metal, and yet another was bricked into a tunnel because he didn't want to leave. TomSka did a really good episode if you want to check it out. The old sister series to Thomas, Theodore Tugboat, is even DARKER, although I don't quite remember the specifics since its been off the air for so long.

Ash: "Edward is Red"
Me, used to be a Thomas and Friends fan: *Dies in the inside*
🥲
for a game made by one person alone, this game is fantastic!
Now we need a Game Theory about how this was based on Charlie the Choo Choo from Stephen Kings Dark Tower series and that Charlie is also a parallel to Blaine in the books. Charlie in the books was sent to Gage Park in Topeka Kansas where there is a train you can ride and more details link to the series to suggest it is a train named Charlie with evil intentions.
Unlike some of us i actually read the train section on my syllabus so I know that those scraps are for improving the engen for the train
Tomska's break down of Thomas the tank engine is legendary
Charles a prehistoric spider that used a train as a shell and is some sort of demon.
I love how the scream "EUGEEEEENE" was perfectly synchronized with the sound of lightning
Love all your videos, MatPat & Steph & behind the camera team!!! Been watching for 4 years and I’ve even managed to make my 11th grade Chemistry teacher watch a food theory for a class lesson last year!! I strive to be a theorist like you guys when I grow up 😍😂
Matpat: "What's the shortest way back to shore?"
Charles: "I have the answer!" *Kicks him over the water*
One minute into the game
Mat - "Well we already got lore-"
The Thomas and Friends show is surprisingly dark. One train dies from falling into a lake, one is so old that he was taken apart for scrap metal, and yet another was bricked into a tunnel because he didn't want to leave. TomSka did a really good episode if you want to check it out.
The old sister series to Thomas, Theodore Tugboat, is even DARKER, although I don't quite remember the specifics since its been off the air for so long.
Matpat : “This overheats very quickly”
The weapon : flamethrower
43:50
Game : (4 loud train horn warnings)
Matpat : like always, is oblivious and doesn't run, gets confused why he gets caught or how Charles found him
58:26 AFTER ACKNOWLEDGING that the train noises indicate a attack, he instantly jumps out the train while saying how Charles attacks at random
How does matpat mange to only ever talk and converse when he enters a high stress stealth situation 😂
Thomas - Blue
Edward - Blue
Gordon - Blue
Henry - Green
Percy - Green
James - Red
Those are just the main ones I remember from when I was a kid
Duck is the other green one
Bill and Ben are yellow
The emerald one is called Emily I think?
And Godred showed up like once and is magenta
52:32, 53:51 I knew MatPat would like "sh0o7, d4ng!" (I've heard him use each one of those words, but not combined) 😂
If Mat DOES end up making a film theory on Thomas, I will be so happy!
Game Theory: Helen's Pet rock is secretly an egg she is trying to keep for herself.
Hype for the eventual Choo Choo Charles GAME THEORY episode👍🏻 (not sure what it’d be about though🤔)
Don't forget that sir toppham hat threatens to scrap the trains repeatedly, and leaves trains out to rust for decades with no remorse.....Thomas lore is wild.
YEEEESSSSSSS!!!!! I’ve been hoping you were gonna cover this game, Matpat.
Fun fact if Charles gets close the people will run to safety lmfao
I think MatPat would be in the minority of people who wouldn't be impressed to see a demonic spider train mounted in a train museum.
Esspecially in the 1900s before irony was invented.
Man, I was having a really bad month and Ash's commentary and Matt laughing his butt off at some of their comments has really cheered me up watching these episodes.
The world of Thomas the tank engine has a surprising amount of dark lore ^^
I remember watching a fun theory about how the island is kind ofba reservoir for coaltrains. There is kinda a inlore genocide on coaltrains.
On top of all the cruel fates that some of the sapient trains get and the punishments.
I think i watch a theory already on it on youtube. It can be found .
It is surprisingly interesting ,dark and wierd
Eugene died the way he lived. Quickly. RIP 😔
