Milk Soup - Used to be quite popular in Poland (and neighbouring countries I imagine) and I did eat it as a kid. It's basically milk with small dough bits. There's also variation where you thicken the milk with flour or use buttermilk. You can get quite creative with it. Used to be 'the' breakfast thing for kids before it got mostly suprerseded by cereal.

tomato peanut butter needs to be a food theory. in fact, there could be a tomato all channel crossover! GT would do mr. tomatoS, Film Theory would do attack of the killer tomatoes, Food theory would do peanut butter tomatoes, and style theory would do tomato clothing
Something important in regards to Mr. TomotoS; Both Mr TomatoS and Ms LemonS are connected despite being seemingly separate games, and to access UroboroS and its contents, you need things from BOTH games. Expect to jump between both frequently. I wish you the best of luck, as these games are full of mystery on many different levels, best of luck to you :)
Can y'all please play more cube escape? The premium games are super awesome, the devs are amazing and work really hard, and realistically you could crank out most of the base cube escape games in an afternoon. A lot of fans of the series have waited years for the series to get the exposure it deserves and I'm sure a lot of us got our hopes up when you played the first three games. Shout out to team theorist for the hard work they do, keep up the good work. Hope we see more Rusty Lake games.
I'd be down for MatPat to dedicate the occasional episode of food theory to seemingly strange food pairings, like pb and tomato or bananas and pesto, etc.
I know this is sort of a lost cause with GTLive, expecting them to continue a series within the month, but I’m really hoping for more Cube Escape/Rusty Lake! It was my first introduction to the series, and I got hooked, but I’m very particular about who I watch, so I may be getting Cube Escape withdrawals now.

Soup enthusiast here! Milk soup is a pasta in a sweet-ish milk broth. Usually a Russian thing. I've made it, but I wasn't too crazy about it. Mostly a dish for young children. Chocolate soup, though, is... Filipino, I think? Friend of my mom's made a savory chocolate... rice pudding/broth? for dinner. It wasn't sweet, it just had the chocolate flavor. It was quite good, actually
I'm Filipino and Champorado is a lot closer to being described as "chocolate rice pudding" . Iceland *does* have Chocolate Soup called Kakósúpa and its consistency is a lot closer to soup.

Between this and all my multi-year old GTLive vid bingeing, i've gotten a LOT of on the couch collab vids this weekend. Not only that, but an Ash face reveal, some more FuhNaff and Mattpatt interactions and even some more amy whom I feel like i haven't seen since that chucky cheese episode cameo on food theory.
22:40 My dad once made this "Mexican hamburger," which was from what I remember a burger with Baja sauce wrapped in a tortilla and crisped in an air fryer.
They should should make a food theory on how the story of a tomato became a vegetable, I think they talked about it on a food theory a bit but I’m not sure
They'd have to do a theory on how technically nothing is a vegetable. It's a culinary classification. I believe the actual part classifications are fruit, stalk, leaf, and root. I have the vague feeling I forgot one but can't remember.
Yay, Amy! :D I feel like she hasn't been in much for ages, but she seems to be making her way back in recently. I've missed her, she's always a delight. :)
Milk soup is actually pretty common in Slavic and Baltic countries. Used to eat a lot of milk soup growing up, you usually add some small pasta pieces and bit of butter on it
I’m just perpetually happy these days because the last few episodes of TLOU were filmed like, where I live. I never saw the cast or crew but they were here. Like, how awesome is it that Salt Lake City is getting so much love recently? I’ve been waiting for the day that Utah is suddenly cool
So there’s a bit of an argument here about whether salsa can be considered a salad or if fruit salad is still a fruit salad if it contains vegetables So I googled it, and, apparently, “a fruit salad is almost exclusively fruits with an occasional vegetable (like jicama)”, and since salsa is _primarily_ made with tomatoes, peppers, and onion (TWO fruits and ONE vegetable) well that means _SALSA IS A FRUIT SALAD_ _SORRY_ 😬👍
I am shocked to see that tomato sandwiches aren’t just a thing in my household. It’s really good btw if you’ve never had it. Just toast, mayo/miracle whip, salt & pepper and obviously a slice of tomato.
I LOVE peanutbutter! My mothermakes great boules with a souce that is mostly made out of peanutbutter. Usually the boules are filled with really different stuff that some people also say it dosent fit together but it thastes amazing and you can get food that will spoil soon to work in one dish. The normal stuff that is in there is Mango, Rice, Lettuce, chicken or a vegan meat, corn, beans and whatever we still have in the house hold like bread sliced in cubes that get fried in a pan, onions, garlic, edamame and more. Chocolate soup... is a thing, it's a savory soup "Savory for a desert anyways" with bittersweet chocolate, heavy cream, whole milk and corn startch. pinch of salt, couple dashes of vanilla, served warm and topped with whipped cream. it's like a thick hot coco or a slightly thin and warm puding
I just want to say, I truly appreciate the energy MatPat has. Game Theory, and eventually GT Live LITERALLY carried me through pharmacy school when I started back in 2018. I would wait for 4pm Pacific time for their livestreams and have it playing while I study and occasionally take breaks to interact with the chat. When COVID hit, I was devestated but still enjoyed watching the recorded GT-Not-Lives. Thank you for sticking with us and being so dedicated!! tomato peanut butter needs to be a food theory. in fact, there could be a tomato all channel crossover! GT would do mr. tomatoS, Film Theory would do attack of the killer tomatoes, Food theory would do peanut butter tomatoes, and style theory would do tomato clothing
Yes!
Yes
This game and Ms lemon has so much good lore I suggest u look into both of these games more
Something important in regards to Mr.
1:20 you are correct.
Similar quote is:
Intelligence is knowing that Frankenstein wasn't the monster. Wisdom is knowing that he was.
Peanut butter and tomato? You’ll be receiving a cease and desist from my lawyer
1:00:30 It seems some foods have a higher point value than others. The combo meal netted you 20 pts.
mo its that the faster you do it the more points you earn
Can y'all please play more cube escape? The premium games are super awesome, the devs are amazing and work really hard, and realistically you could crank out most of the base cube escape games in an afternoon. A lot of fans of the series have waited years for the series to get the exposure it deserves and I'm sure a lot of us got our hopes up when you played the first three games. Shout out to team theorist for the hard work they do, keep up the good work. Hope we see more Rusty Lake games.
Much agreed!
yes please its really interesting
Was thinking the same thing. I'm worried that the views weren't good enough and we won't see any more Rustic Lake....
He did say even if it doesn't do well enough to continue on gtlive he'd still be going through it in his own time for a potential theory
@@GrassFudge7 at the very least I hope he does play it for himself. It's an amazing and thought-provoking series and the style is unreal.
I'm clutching my pearls and praying for a sequel. This game goes so much deeper than they know
I'd be down for MatPat to dedicate the occasional episode of food theory to seemingly strange food pairings, like pb and tomato or bananas and pesto, etc.
“If tomato’s are a fruit that means ketchup is a smoothie” just thinking like that makes me feel uncomfortable
That face she made when he said he puts mayo on his tomato sandwich knowing she's about to suggest peanut butter
Yes it’s the d&d stat explainatin. Strength is the how hard you hit a tomato, dex to throw a tomato, intelligence to know tomato is a fruit, wisdom to know it doesn’t belong in a fruit salad, charisma to sell the tomato fruit salad and finally constitution because some one will eventually eat the tomato fruit salad 😂❤
Champorado i think is the name ur looking for the chocolate soup
Its the best to have on cold weather ❤️ and u can add cinnamon on top
I'm Filipino and Champorado is a lot closer to being described as "chocolate rice pudding" . Iceland *does* have Chocolate Soup called Kakósúpa and its consistency is a lot closer to soup.
22:17 idk if this kid ment this but in Switzerland there is a thing that’s called milchsuppe wich means milksoup. If never tried it but if heard it’s good.
In Poland, it's a common thing to have milk soups. It's milk, usually sweetened, with hand-made noodles.
I am going to be surprised if MatPat doesn't do an episode on Ms.LemonS and Mr.TomatoeS and project Uroburos
This is full of lore food for him
Knowledge is knowing that tomato is a fruit
Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad
Philosophy is wondering whether that makes ketchup a smoothie
Common sense is knowing ketchup isn't a smoothie
Between this and all my multi-year old GTLive vid bingeing, i've gotten a LOT of on the couch collab vids this weekend. Not only that, but an Ash face reveal, some more FuhNaff and Mattpatt interactions and even some more amy whom I feel like i haven't seen since that chucky cheese episode cameo on food theory.
Don’t forget Steph!!!
Ash had a face reveal? Was it in one of the videos?
@@sturg0353 Ash's first face reveal was in a food theory video about Milk. Ash also appeared in the live stream this past Friday.
@@Qmacosplays I didn’t know that! That’s awesome :)
check out the high heels vid on Style Theory if anyone wants more of Amy!!
This is the lore filled game MatPat was looking for.
22:40 My dad once made this "Mexican hamburger," which was from what I remember a burger with Baja sauce wrapped in a tortilla and crisped in an air fryer.
They should should make a food theory on how the story of a tomato became a vegetable, I think they talked about it on a food theory a bit but I’m not sure
no on cares
Wait mine is glitching it said someone else was first
They'd have to do a theory on how technically nothing is a vegetable. It's a culinary classification. I believe the actual part classifications are fruit, stalk, leaf, and root. I have the vague feeling I forgot one but can't remember.
@@holoanarchy nah this absolutely needs to be a food theory that is news to me.
@@wophful Yeah, scientifically, vegetables do not exist.
I absolutely loved the fact that more videos of gtlive with the theorist team are popping out. it really do be a whole next level of content
Yay, Amy! :D
I feel like she hasn't been in much for ages, but she seems to be making her way back in recently.
I've missed her, she's always a delight. :)
Same :) She and Matt both seemed to enjoy the last of us and I think a stream on tlou and tlou2 would be great (especially for more theories)
Amy: “Then why don’t I ever see tomato in fruit salad?”
Salsa: _”Am I a joke to you?!”_
That blew my mind a little
There are onions in salsa though
Salsa is not a fruit salad.
So there’s a bit of an argument here about whether salsa can be considered a salad or if fruit salad is still a fruit salad if it contains vegetables
So I googled it, and, apparently, “a fruit salad is almost exclusively fruits with an occasional vegetable (like jicama)”, and since salsa is _primarily_ made with tomatoes, peppers, and onion (TWO fruits and ONE vegetable) well that means _SALSA IS A FRUIT SALAD_
_SORRY_ 😬👍
I am shocked to see that tomato sandwiches aren’t just a thing in my household. It’s really good btw if you’ve never had it. Just toast, mayo/miracle whip, salt & pepper and obviously a slice of tomato.
I use hummus!
miracle whip?
Sacreligious
Mince up some garlic and spread it in the with mayo and you got yourself a real sandwich.
@@pwitts I might try that
@@justinmcleod4130 I have a sneaking suspicions that you’re lying. But you very well could be telling the truth, if so, is it good?
Please do a part 2 just to discover the secret lore Mat! I’m digging this so hard rn
My man made the worse mistake of his life by being a theorist and deleting the data recovery file.
I KNOW IT KINDA SOUNDS WIERD BUT ITS AMAZING
D&D Stats Tomato Analogy
"Strength is being able to crush a tomato.
Dexterity is being able to dodge a tomato.
Constitution is being able to eat a bad tomato.
Intelligence is knowing a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in a fruit salad.
Charisma is being able to sell a tomato based fruit salad."
Always a treat to see someone else on the couch with Mat!
(Case in point, last Friday's livestream had three other people on the couch and it was EPIC.)
Ash I love you so much. I feel like my biggest parasocial relationship is with them.
Yeah, at this point, I feel like Ash is my parasocial "best friend" on GT live and then Matpat is that fun mutual friend we both happen to hang out with.
@@katetoolate234 exactly. Ash is the person where I’m like “she’s my best friend, Mat is just there for fun”
Ash, a bestie to all theorists ♡ (from afar. Respectfully.)
w Ash
having a parasocial relationship with a cc that doesn't know you is not ok uh
My familys food is milk spagehetti
Its just milk, butter, salt, pepper, italian pizza blend spices and noodles. Its the best comfort food! Must try
I'm from Belarus and milk soup is a regular meal especially for kids. You just boil milk with sugar and pasta or rice.
Chocolate soup is absolutely a thing. We just have a different name for it, we call it: "hot cocoa".
Even at this very moment, after having graduated with my PharmD and currently working on one of my last assignments for my LAST MBA course that I started as a dual degree, I am watching these videos. Thank you for sticking with us and being so dedicated!! I am now obsessed with all 5 channels and the anxiety and depression I developed from Pharm school + MBA is somewhat diluted by all of these channels which I have playing throughout the day to keep my minds out of the gutter while learning fun facts or just enjoying the theories on games and movies.
If a tomato is a fruit does that mean ketchup is tomato smoothie?
So I hate PBJ, but give me nearly any flavor of jam, but especially blackberry, with cream cheese, on toast.
Fun fact: Here in the Philippines, we do have chocolate soup(Well not soup per say, it's more on the congee, porridge, or pudding side?? I guess??..). It's called Champorado😊😊
Best served with cream or milk(Be it powdered milk or not.). Mostly eaten at breakfast, served either hot or cold💖💖
Intelligent is knowing tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing tomato is not good in a fruit salad is a old saying. But the only place I see it used is in D n D to explain to new players the difference between stats.
with the witty banter it gave me an idea. There should be a food theory or gtlive(not necessarily a game but y’know) where you try weird food combinations subscribers submit
Tbh the mayonese in Mexico is 100x better cause it’s added with lemon flavor and 90% of Mexicans eat sandwiches with a lot of mayo
I’m loving Amy’s eyeliner so much btw
After watching Superhorrorbro explore this and the other 2 games in the series, I was hoping you guys would play this. I really like how the games are connected.
I kinda hate the whole "is tomato a vegetable or a fruit" debate, because I am cursed with the knowledge that vegetables are a social construct, and that tomatoes are one of those fruits that are also a vegetable.
"knowledge is knowing tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"-english scholar; explaining the difference between knowledge and wisdom, whilst explaining what a tomato is.
Been waiting for this. Cant wait until he gets to Ms LemonS as well as both games are linked not just in lore
“Tomato and peanut butter taste amazing!”
Me: *crying because I’m allergic to peanut butter 🥲*
YES! FINALLY! Matpat is (i think) gonna make an episode on the game and the sequel!!! I been waiting for so long
This game is the perfect game for someone like theorist to play cause of so much secrets and lore
I really hope he keeps playing this and the Rusty late games on stream. It's fun to watch games like these play out.
I love how he just completely forgot to introduce amy 💀😭
You always manage to find interesting and intriguing games i always say i wont enjoy whatever game you’re playing as much as the others but i always end up enjoying them i guess the hidden LOREE makes me super infested in it
