    I discovered the Bass Pro Shops catalog in 1984 my dad was subscribed. I wonder if they still have an order form inside the catalog
    I can remember sending a personal check in the mail for what I ordered. I saved for a year and my dad put in an extra $10 for me to get a reel I liked.
    Minimum wage was like $3 an hour back then so $10.was quite a bit

      That’s awesome. Saving up, picking out the item, writing it down, mailing off, and the best part being the anticipation of it arriving in the mail.
      I’ll have to check to see if the new one has an order form or just refers to the website. My dad would definitely still old school order form haha. Thanks for writing in

      @@anglingarchaeology I remember photocopying the order form.
      The weirdest one I had was getting my stuff shipped to Alaska when I worked up there. It took almost a month to get to where I was working after I sent the form out
      They had to ship it to the main plant where I was based out of and the they had to ship it on our company DC3 along with empty fish totes.
